Really dissatisfied. I brought in my grandmother’s vintage skirt that’s about 75 years old to get let out to fit me. He said it would be ready in a week. I went in to get it, and he rudely shooed me out the door yelling that he told me it would be ready the next day. I never once received a call or anything saying my skirt would be delayed.
The next day I tried to pick it up again and got it. The first time I tried to wear it, though, it was clear he rushed the work. There is a giant bubble of fabric by the zipper that won’t sit flat where he inserted a panel of fabric, and he made it so big in the waist that I can’t wear it.
I’ll discourage anyone from coming here — I’d be MUCH happier if he had called and said he needed a few extra days to take care of that irreplaceable garment properly. Instead, he clearly rushed, did sub-​par work, and now I need to find a new tailor to tell me if it’s ruined for good.

Had a pair of pants hemmed, wore once, cleaned, ½ hem came undone and was hanging down, not just loose… Took them to get fixed, he charged me again (with a stupid smile on his face). Don’t take the risk!

So glad Tony’s Tailor Shop opened! Perfect location for those in N. St. Pete and their hours are super convenient as well (open Saturday & Sundays)! Sometimes it takes me months to get into a tailor outside of work hours, but with Tony’s that won’t be a problem. I was so shocked at how great the prices were the first I stopped in & all four of my items (just needed minor alterations) will be done in 24 hours. Definitely go check them out!
