Very nice place to eat. It’s a great place to meet new friends. Very friendly to all. Very unclicky… but that’s why I like this city. Good prices on food and drinks. Portions are a good size. Patio is awesome!!!

They are gouging St Pete Pride attendees by demanding $ 20 cover charge to enter the restaurant to order food on their menu at full price. Why are they demanding $ 20 for the opportunity to sit down in their restaurant and order a meal at full menu price?

$ 20.00 for the privilege of sitting inside after the pride parade you got to be kidding me… sorry Punky’s you have lost my business forever

RUDE! Arrived at 10AM as they opened for Pride and were the first people there. They sat us in the pet section because my friend brought her dog. Within 3 mins they told us that we could no longer sit there because it was a VIP section and gave no other viable options. We finally had to leave. Very disheartening experience. I’ll never return

What s great place. So. Many selections and everything we have had has berm good! The service is great… I would definitely recommend Punky’s. Give it a try!!!

Can’t say anything about the food cause it was awesome then and it still is… but I must say what a place to be for PRIDE week end what a view while watching the parade u can eat and drink and be with your friends

I get excited when I go into Punky’s just because of how fun and cutesy the place is. I know the owners try to do a lot for the community — events, fundraisers, and they will even try new things. When they first opened I noticed some of their staff was new to serving. It’s very difficult to hide that. I give them more props for hiring inexperienced servers and giving them a chance rather than hold it against them. I’ve noticed since then the staff has improved and new staff has even been brought in.
I really enjoy them having a DJ, drag queen bingo, and the outside patio to hold live music.
Also, a shout out to one of the servers who served me a dessert item that wasn’t on the menu — I wanted a root beer float, which wasn’t on the menu, and they didn’t have regular root beer… so he gave me an an alcoholic root beer float instead using their «Best Damn Root Beer»…EVEN BETTER!!! Thanks!

Service is horrible. We were seated an hour ago and still haven’t received our food. Others around us have.

Always have a great time here. Good food, good drinks. The staff is super awesome. As are the owners. 2 for 1 drink chips during the week. There is always something going on in the evenings (drag bingo, karaōke, shows, live music, etc.). Outdoor seating and outdoor bar for smokers. No smoking inside (thank God!). Outdoor pool table too. Something to keep in mind in any service industry situation: Sometimes to get good customer service — you have to be a good customer. In other words, treat the staff with respect and they’ll take great care of you!

Great time at Punky’s this evening. Nice atmosphere with our server Tammy and beautiful jazzy live music. Everyone really enjoyed their food and they have Glenlivet, always a plus. The customers were such an awesomely diverse group, it made me proud to be among them.

Wow… what a cool place! The atmosphere was so relaxing and laid back. We were just stoping in to try some small plates and move on but we’re really tempted to stays or a while. The wife did not want to leave. The live music was amazing. Loved the outdoor seating on the picnic benches. Wish I had had cash on me to tip that guy. The food was pretty good. We had the Mac n cheese which was kicked up with jalapeños and sun dried tomatoes.

It is kinda funny how bad it was. So both of us got our orders wrong. I got the nachos and the first time they were brought out with a greyish orange sauce on tortilla chips. I asked the waiter if it was Velveeta, and he said it wasn’t even Velveeta, it was an off brand. The wait staff is funny and friendly, the food is terrible. The décor is pretty bad too, and come on do gay men really want sports blasting while they eat slop? I gave an extra star for the staff being fun.

What a great new addition to St Pete! I’ve been here a few times and it just gets better with each visit. The drinks are strong, the food is tasty, and the service is good. It’s a strong 4 stars.

What an interesting menu. There is something for everyone, gourmet burgers… big salads… sandwiches and more. The chips and salsa, while it took long and came out a few minutes before the food, was worth the wait. Hot chips and home made salsa that wasn’t short on cilantro. I had the pesto burger and Mac and cheese A+. My wife had ½ order of margarhetti flat bread that would have been a full order in other places A+. My son had the punky burger and he needed a box to bring half it home! Columbus, our server, was attentive and nice and as a valentine treat they included some «extras» guess you’ll have to go to find out
Can’t wait to go back for drag brunch

I had mixed feelings about the service. Our server was bad, but the bartender gave me an extra drink chip which turned it around. They don’t have a lot of draft. They do have games and tv’s. The wings were great. My friend said her tots tasted like perfume. The taco salad was 75% lettuce. They have Stella Cidre on draft. It’s gay friendly and I heard they have drag shows. I don’t know the place is missing something.

I’ve gone for drinks. it’s a deal at happy hour. Full price is high. $ 6 for a miller light was no deal. I also went for brunch buffet. $ 15 for eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy was a let down. Had lunch another time. Meatloaf sandwich was good. Mac and cheese was tasty. I might do happy hour and some food again but not going anytime other than then again. :/​Entertainment was good. got to see a couple of lesbians get in an argument. Lol Staff is helpful and friendly.

Only open three days?! Walked in to a very full house inside (the patio was mostly empty on the first cool night) around 7:15 PM Friday. Extremely well staffed, I was encouraged to choose any available table (of only two). Service was fast and friendly. We opted to split a small bacon cheddar Flatbread pizza as an appetizer … it was out quickly, good portion, very tangy BBQ sauce, definitely recommend it.
The pace sputtered and stalled after the appetizer course, alas. Long wait for the main course, and struggled to get the order placed for the second round of drinks.
My pesto burger was worth the wait, cooked medium well as ordered. The mac and cheese side was great.
Our waiter, Thomas, was prompt and checked in after serving both courses, everything was correct and without any problems. Ten picnic tables outside are pet friendly (will bring the dogs next time). Smoking on patio, not inside. I can’t imagine these picnic tables being comfortable and hope they are only temporary. No fans or patio heaters … at least not yet … again hopefully temporary. Beer and wine now, full bar to follow according to the website. Very good «bar and grill» fare and looking forward to seeing more options for entrees once the business is established. Punky ’ s is off to a great start!

Hooray for full liquor!
Got there at the perfect time on New Years Eve for a bite to eat. They just started serving full liquor at 6pm and we got there at 8pm.
Our server was Tim, who was spot on about our order taking and making sure everything was okay throughout our stay.
The food quality was perfect temperature and more than adequate amount to eat.
We were pleased with the NYE party supplies given to us while waiting at our table. Unfortunately we had other plans for midnight.
Punkys is definitively worth repeating over on a weekly basis.

Love Punky’s!!! Much needed addition to St Pete! The bar is gorgeous!!! Huge menu!!! Several gourmet burgers, salads and sandwiches to choose from. Great wine and beer selection. Felt comfortable here. Very friendly staff. I’m going to be a regular here for years to come.
