The place has character You pass through the country store part to get to the restaurant. If you stop and look around they have all sorts of things for sale. I proceeded to the restaurant where I was greeted and shown to a table. I noticed on a chalkboard they offer specials every day and today for lunch it was Meatloaf. That sounded good but it was already almost 5, way past what I would consider lunchtime. When my server came over I told her that’s what I wanted, no problem at all. And it couldn’t have taken more than 3 minutes before I had the food in front of me. Cracker Barrel is a great place to stop while travelling and getting the food out so quickly helps to reinforce to me you don’t need to pick up a burger in order to not lose too much time. Stop and enjoy your food. Getting back to my meal, the meatloaf tasted very good. The kernel corn was also basic and fine, the mashed potatoes creamy. I would have preferred sweeter cornbread but I think that would be more of a northern style. Crackle Barrel is definitely southern. My server was very good and got me thinking of some dessert. On the table was a sign for a Multi-Berry Cobbler. I thought that would be a nice finish and ordered it. It was way bigger than I expected and practically a steal at $ 3.99. It was also more than I needed, but I ate it. Located along I-275 at exit 26A, it was easy on easy off for me heading north. Plenty of parking, plenty of character.

They change the menu I could not get a low carb breakfast? They could not sub tomatoes for potatoes

Great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I could list multiple things to order, instead I will just say its all yum. I also love shopping here so many fun buys. I love good Olé country cooking and that is what they represent. My only complaint is they have to learn to become better staffed in the kitchen. I have been coming here since I was a kid and I will continue to come here as an adult.

The food and service is always great here! Tonight wasn’t the case though unfortunately. We were«greeted» with a stare by the hostess. a younger short haired African American female who seemed highly agitated that we were interrupting her texting. She didn’t say ONEWORD to us. She simply just stared. I HADTO tell her there were two of us. I HADTO say«hello» and she still didn’t reply. Even after me telling her we were a party of two she continued to go right back to texting. INPLAINSIGHT of the customers. Not a great look for the front of the house. Thank god our server Sondra was AMAZING and made our visit a little better.

Awesome breakfast, as usual, at Cracker Barrel. Food was served hot, and waiter was attentive.

No STARS, not the manager or the server expressed concern when I told them that my mac and cheese had chunks of burn pieces, they replace it and the side came the same, BURNED. The manager went ahead to explained that was the way it was cook, signature if Cracker Barrel. Beware nobody cares at this location.

Another place I’ve passed for years before arriving this morning. Right on the edge of I-275, so not easy to get into without some traffic. Long line of rocking chairs along the barn-like front, then you pass through the country store to the restaurant entrance and wait for your server. I was showered with attention throughout my visit. They mentioned they featured their skillet breakfast, so asked for that. Coffee please, a large cup reloaded three times. The skillet arrives in a few minutes even as two others ordered before me, impressed. Pieces of steak among potato chunks, mushrooms and vegetable pieces. Side dishes with two biscuits, grits and gravy. Two butter cubes and jelly container top this off. Quite full when I left, but at $ 11.65 before tip it’s high-end breakfast, yet their uniqueness and top customer service keeps them coming back. Their collection of vintage Americana all around you brings pleasant memories.

Frequent this place 3xs a year. Good food, go when opportunity arises. I like the grill catfish, pot roast and Cola cake. Tasty, savory meals, nice portion desserts

We went here late night and I was not impressed with the food. The décor was nice. I ordered the country fried steak with dumplings, mashed potatoes and fried okra. The country fried steak was over cooked and had a distinct bad flavor like it was freezer burnt. I had them make another steak and this one was cooked correctly but still had the bad taste. Our server didn’t come back until I asked the hostess to get him for us. If your going to take the time to open a restaurant, take the time to make good food.

I like Cracker Barrel. This particular one was PACKED on the day we went. We went on a saturday morning. The service was quick though — but not attentive. The food is what you would find in any other cracker barrels near by — good pancakes and grits. I love visiting Florida(or south in general) for their grits! Yum.

Carrie S was an amazing server! Even though it was breakfast she was able to get burgers for my husband and I for our Thanksgiving eve hangovers! Give that girl a raise! Service tends to be hit or miss here and she was definitely a hit. Burgers were also surprisingly outstanding!

When ranking this CB against the others, I like this one. It’s never busy, it’s easy on/off the interstate and the employees are friendly. I usually get takeout breakfast for a customer once every couple of months and they have never messed up my order or forgotten any of the necessary condiments.

Service was good, food was cooked well and tasted fine. I had a pork chop with turnip greens & a sweet potato. Why two stars? The menu should’ve said it was a baby pork chop. It made the sweet potato look like a huge GMO Award winning freak crop. Very misleading calling it a pork chop, and I left hungry. I will now count this as strike 1 of 3. I took a photo of it, look at it to scale of a truly normal sized sweet potato

This place is just mediocre. Met a group here on a Saturday morning as 2 were driving back to North Carolina. I suppose they might be used to this kind of food, not me. Most In the group ordered huge breakfasts consisting of eggs, pancakes, grits, meat product and bisquits. I ordered a scrambled egg and bisquits. They of course completely forgot my order. They also forgot misc. guests breads, others drinks, others gravy, it was a disaster. Getting the check was the worst part. It took longer then it did to eat breakfast with 9 people there. I’ll pass on any future visits here.

We came here late after a day on the beach and we left happy. We were searching and searching for a place to have dinner after sunset. Our server, cinnamon, was fantastic. She was there for 12 hours already and she was still friendly and personable. The terrible CB in NC off I95 better take note. They were terrible there. She started off by telling us what they ran out of(and not 30 min after we ordered like the NC branch). We had a mix of breakfast folks whose dishes were consistent to that of a CB breakfast. We also tried their new chicken bake and beef bakes which were the meats baked with carrots, corn on the cob, onion, and red potatoes wrapped in tin foil and baked to tenderness. There was a nice juice on the bottom but it wasn’t drowning in sauce. All in all a great late night meal last night for a starving dreary group!

I grew up in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area and Cracker Barrel always reminds me of home. Not only is it a «Country» restaurant and store, but they are everywhere up there. Cracker Barrel does not have great food, but it is good southern food that reminds you of something a family member would make. My Dad has always loved Cracker Barrel and now my Husband loves it too, so we eat here often. We normally end up eating here for breakfast. You get a HUGE quantity of food that is pretty much impossible to finish for a very cheap price. Our favorite thing to order includes Country Fried Steak/Chicken(I get the chicken… Hubby gets the steak), biscuits, gravy, grits, hashbrown casserole and eggs. TIP: ask for ANY condiments to accompany this meal and they will get it for you if they have it(sugar free syrup, honey, blackberry jam, hot sauce, apple butter, etc.) Cracker Barrel also has great service. With huge dining rooms and food that appears quickly, it is a very fast and pleasant dining experience. I also love their Country Store. I spend more time browsing then buying, but you always find neat quirky things. I look in the store all the time and still manage to find something new on every visit that I haven’t seen in 20 years. I also REALLY love their apple butter. Apple butter is something that I grew up with and you can not find good apple butter in the grocery stores here, so I buy it at Cracker Barrel. Cracker Barrel is definitely a Kitschy restaurant that is not for everyone. From the rocking chairs to the old fashioned candy to the 100 year old drug bottles and creepy old paintings. I personally adore it. Check them out if you have not visited before.

I don’t know why I never think to review this place when I love to eat here! Whenever I want a good breakfast, Cracker Barrel never fails. I like this location better than the other one on ulmerton/roosevelt too. Let me just list my favorite things: 1.One of my favorite desserts in the whole world is probably their Apple Dumpling. It is HUGE with crust, hot apples, pecans, caramel and 2 scoops of ice cream on top. I usually eat it all by myself when really it should be shared, If you haven’t tried it… order it next time you go. Plus its like only $ 3. 2. Their biscuits with strawberry preserves. We usually tell them just to bring a couple baskets because we kill those biscuits. 3. The pancakes and Turkey sausage. Mommas Pancakes are big and fluffy and their turkey sausage is really good. 4. If you want dinner go for the White Fish, Grilled Tenders or Burger. The only thing I don’t like is some of their side fixins. The greens tastes weird and everything tastes canned. I usually get fries, slaw, salad or potato.
