This is a great place for good fresh Chinese food. We love the drive thru convenience too. Vegetable fried rice and bourbon chicken are out favorites!

Excellent food, nice people. Fast service. Haven’t tried the sushi but from what I’ve seen its on par as well.

Was suspicious of a drive thru sushi spot, but now I’m sold. Got 4 rolls and they were all good. Called in the order and picked up 20 minutes later. Price was good and food good. Mexican, Alaskan, TNT and Tuna roll were all tasty.

Fantastic Chinese food here! I especially LOVE the Beef Fried rice and egg rolls. Always fresh and yummy! A must go if in the mood

Good sushi. Good Chinese plates. We got a big order for my whole family. The order was put together fast. And they also gave us a free order of 10 crab Rangoons. My whole family enjoyed it.
The spicy tuna is very flavorful. The crab Rangoons were good enough to pay for. Lol. Chicken fried rice is good again the next day as leftovers. I’m positive my family will order from here again.

My go to Chinese place! I absolutely love this place. I was shocked how fresh the food was and how quick I got it. The staff is also very friendly and I like that it’s always the same people there.

I was craving chinese food so I decided to swing by Chopstick on my way home. I’ve eaten here with friends many times. Today I was by myself, so I watched them prepare my food. With their bare hands. Literally, the cook picked up a handful of lo mien and put it in the pot. No gloves. No hair nets. Its a little place, so imagine the sweat and germs thats going into your food. The girl who took my money was also getting my food together, picking up egg rolls and putting them into bags She was wearing bracelets, and clearly hadn’t washed her hands two seconds after taking my money.
You better hope they wash their hands after they use the restroom.
I called the number on the window for complaints, and the man who answered says, «Chinese places don’t wear gloves. None of them do. No one touched your food, its to hot.“Weird, because I saw with my OWN SPECIAL EYES a man grab a handful of food with his bare hands. Last time I checked, it was against the law.
The food may be good, but cross your fingers and pray you don’t get sick!

Whenever I want Chinese or sushi for takeout, I go to Chopstick Express. They have a full menu of Chinese and Japanese food, including fresh sushi. It’s always delicious and the price is affordable.

I went because I needed something quick and saw all the great reviews. I thought the food was good not great. Had high expectations based on other reviews. You did get a lot for the price that you pay. I would go back again but only if I needed something quick. The outside of the building is off-​putting at best.

So delicious! We’ve ordered from a few Chinese places in St. Pete but this one is the best! We had the orange chicken, chicken lo mein, fried rice, egg rolls, and Mongolian beef. We will definitely get it delivered again or hit up the drive thru in the future. The orange chicken had actual chicken in it so it wasn’t chewy or just fried with orange sauce. Yummmm!

Just moved to 54^th and wanted to find my local go to Chinese. Went on Unilocal and found this place. Most reviews seemed legit so I gave it a try. Did not disappoint! Got the bourbon chicken with all white meat and paid the extra 1 $ for chicken fried rice. Was able to substitute the drink in my meal for a second egg roll that was delicious! I will definitely be going back again and again!

I called in an order for pick up and by the time I arrived (~10 minutes) the food was ready. Awesome! Parking lot is kinda weird, I turned in off 4^th and tried to go around the side to park but it is only one way so I had to do a 3 point turn to park my car in the small lot. Note: turn right into the street before the restaurant for drive thru and parking! I tried to find a door… where do I pay and pick up food LOL. I walked up to the window and they were able to take payment and give me my food there.
Good priced and filling Chinese food. Everything we ordered tasted just ok. Honey chicken was sweet and sour chicken with a container of a thin honey sauce on the side– we’ve never seen it like that from any other place– do we pour the sauce on the chicken and toss it ourselves in a wok to thicken it up or do you dip the chicken in it… General tso chicken was soggy and not crispy, and bland. Pork egg foo young was alright. So yeah, it wasn’t the best Chinese food ever but the prices were cheap (you get what you pay for!).

The food is good not amazing. The lemonade is outstanding, and the pricing is great. This place is a quick good meal and if your in the mood for Chinese will definitely satisfy your cravings. The location is an old checkers and could use a facelift but nothing to keep me from returning.

Great food, fast delivery. Delicious egg rolls and spring rolls. The teriyaki seafood dish comes with lots of large shrimp, scallops, and crab meat, and plenty of veggies in good proportions. Love dumplings, so those are my favorite, of course.

My favorite Chinese in the area.
I recommend the General Tso, Spring Rolls and Krab Rangoon. Boyfriend is a fan of the sushi and Chinese Donuts.

I’ve eaten here 2 times. First time, 4 stars, second time, 1 star, Im being generous giving them 3.
We had the lo mein, krab Rangoon, kung pao chicken, pork egg foo yung. The lo mein and egg foo yung were on the first visit, the rest on the second. The chicken was the blandest most boring stir fry I ever had in my life. My god, chow mein is better then that was.
I will give them one more try and see how it evens out, Has to be better then last time!

So at 10 last night, I got a weird urge for bourbon chicken (which is something I haven’t eaten in like, 15 years), and my wife will never say no to pork fried rice. Our late night shame spiral led us to Chopstick Express on 4^th Street, the closest chinese place that was still open. The only thing I was expecting from this place were the physical repercussions of said shame spiral, especially when we realized that the location was, at one time, a Checker’s drive-​thru. But it isn’t called a shame spiral because you tend to make great decisions, right?
After ordering our meal (8 bucks for a huge helping of bourbon chicken, pork fried rice and eggroll), we got home 2 minutes later and steeled ourselves for the worst as we opened the styrofoam container (you have to appreciate an establishment so avant-​garde that they’ll forsake conventional chinese takeout packaging).
Mind. Blown. The food was surprisingly good. Better than adequate, but not «good enough to make us stop driving to Tampa to get our fix at decent hours» good. The bourbon chicken was well seared, light on sauce but big on flavor. The chicken seemed to be a little gristly, but no big deal… a little cartilage never hurt anyone. The steamed veggies seemed fresh, the broccoli had a nice snap and the carrots were sweet as get-​all. The rice was a little lacking, but nothing some soy sauce didn’t fix. The eggroll was an eggroll.
We’ve definitely found our late-​night shame spiral fast food restaurant. Way to completely blow expectations away, Chopstick Express.

As far as «fast food style» Chinese goes Chopsticks Express isn’t bad. It’s not great either, I ordered the Bourbon Chicken combo meal which comes with fried rice and sautéed mixed veggies. I asked for all white meat chicken which was the best thing I could have done, the chicken was perfect, not heavily sauced and very fresh. Tasty!
I was disappointed with the fried rice, no flavor at all and a hideous off white color. Perhaps they ran out of soy sauce?
The veggies were fine but nondescript. I chose an egg roll over a soda. It was freshly fried and crispy which was good, overall an average egg roll.
The place lacks any sort of curb appeal but considering it’s former incarnation was a Checkers you can’t expect much I suppose. I’d go back again, specifically for the chicken.
