They have a very spacious covered, but technically outside seating area. The BBQ was serviceable and I’d say the sides are not the best. But, on the positive side, you get three with your meal! Buffy’s is combined with Biff Burger so you can order the BBQ at Biff’s and eat inside in air conditioned comfort. Or, you can stay on the Buffy’s side and eat in the open air. Take your choice!

Spoiled, smelled bad, worst I’ve ever had for baby back ribs. Hope I’m not sick tomorrow. Only two or three times in my life, have I ever had ribs that bad. Called the restaurant, told them their ribs might be spoiled, she said she would check them. she did not say, they were fresh cooked. Never, never, never again.

Ok, not a fan of their bbq… but total fans of their gourmet burgers! We decided to give them another try since we do like the open atmosphere and the servers are very nice. The burgers are to die for! They are so big, I can barely get it all down and am rolling out of there when I finish! They are perfectly cooked… this is definitely their specialty.

What could possibly be better than a good BBQ joint located in the same building as a great burger joint? And between both of them a classic open-air dive bar? Not much, I say. As legendary as Biff Burger is in St. Petersburg, the humble Buffy’s Bar-B-Que that occupies the other end of the building gets much less attention. In my visit there with some family members I tried the ribs, which were quite good. The meat was seasoned and cooked well, and was moist with good smoky flavor. Each bite left a nice tooth ring, the mark of ribs not being over-cooked. None of the«falling of the bone» signs of clearly overcooked barbecue here, folks. The sauce they serve on the side is a sweet Kansas City style sauce, just thick enough and tasty. Service was quick and friendly, and just like Biff Burger, the price was outstanding. Seating is in the open-air bar(though you could eat in the dining area of Biff’s if you wanted, I suppose). But unlike the limited beverage choices at so many barbecue restaurants, getting to enjoy good ‘cue in an open-air bar with a tall cold one takes it over the top. The 25 screens in the bar also means that there are plenty of views of the games from most every seat. Since ribs were all I tried, I want to get back to try the pork and beef(they also serve chicken, but the noble bird loses out every time to pork barbecue in my preference no matter where I’m eating). The only problem I’m going to have from now on is deciding whether to eat burgers at Biff’s or BBQ here now on. I forgot to check if Buffy’s takes debit/credit cards(Biff’s doesn’t). But there’s an ATM right next to the counter at Biff’s if you need it. Atmosphere: 4 Service: 5 Food: 4 Value: 5
