I’ve come here infrequently as I don’t generally do a ton of dry cleaning. My orders are pretty standard, primarily just shirts, so I can’t speak to their work with larger items like bedding or rugs. All in all the actual cleaning isn’t bad, but for some reason they take appreciably longer than their competitors. They won’t budge on their +/-5 day time frame to do normal dry cleaning which is irksome.

As a new customer, wanting a dry cleaner that is closer to my house, I was willing to try red robin on a trial basis. It didn’t start off as a very good experience. Their turnaround is 4 – 5 days…(ISTHAT A JOKE!) And when I asked about 24hr turnaround, they said they don’t do that. Okay fine I’ll be back in 5 days. When I returned, I picked up my clothes but initially they tried to give me another customers shirts that had the same last name as me. I noticed immediately bc I had expensive Calvin Klein shirts that were brand new and I was excited to see them without wrinkles — I’m easily excited! Haha so when that issue was taken care of, I paid and left the store without my original garment bag(from Waldorf Nevens) — my bad. So I called in to have them set it aside for me to pick up. At this point I’m frustrated that it wasn’t returned to me in the first place. Upon talking with them, they seemed oblivious as to why my bag wasn’t returned. Later to find out that because it was a competitors bag, they kept it and removed the hard tag WITH my name on it. Why on earth a business would practice such lousy customer relations is beyond me. And when I told them that it was bull shit for steeling my bag and returning it to me without the tag, the owner was shocked that I called him out and didn’t understand why I was upset. If that was going to be an issue– I would have kept the bag so I could continue to use my other dry cleaner. On top of all this, they provided my with one of their garment bags, which is fine– I get that, but it was clearly heavily used by someone else. Now as a new customer, you would think that they would provide me with a new bag. Nope. And finally, I noticed a stain on one of the sleeves of my new Calvin Klein shirts. Now I’m pissed! I would stay far away from this place. Who knows, next time your clothes might walk away with someone else. I think it’s safe to say that I will not be going back to this establishment. And hopefully this is a warning for all of you who do decide to try red robin. NOTRECOMMENDED

We have been going to Red Robin for 15 – 20 years and as we all have moved out of my parents house we have used them as our dry cleaners. Everyone knew your name and whatever the request was they made it happen. They changed ownership and everything has gone down hill. My mom brought bedding in and asked them to dry clean it– they washed it and RUINED the entire bedding(it is different colors). They charged her $ 100 for the service and when she told them they ruined it they did nothing. My dad went in several times trying to speak with the owner or manager and no one would call him back and they refused to see him. when telling people about this several people have said the new ownership is not the same as the old and they are starting to take their business elsewhere because of incidents that happened to them too. Sadly ourselves and many others have moved to different cleaners. I’d say move on– find a new cleaners.

This was my last trip to this Red Robin Cleaners on Ford Parkway. The ownership is not working well. I had to go back THREE times to finally get my full order. The first time, I paid $ 116.00 for my clothes. By the time I got to the car, I realized that one of the items they had given me was not mine. I went back in to let them know this. There was a lot of confusion with ticket numbers and so on. I finally got what I thought was the rest of my order. Then I headed up to Ford Parkway and Snelling for gas. As I was getting gas, and looking at my drycleaning order, I realized they had forgotten to give me a Laura Ashley cape that I also had drycleaned. So, I went back to Red Robin for a third time. When I walked in one woman said, «Oh, I saw that we forgot to give you that.» I asked her if she’d try to catch me — and she said«no.» Nor did I get an apology for having to make three trips to get one drycleaning order!

I no longer use Red Robin, although I had for 10+ years. Over the years, buttons on an expensive linen jacket have been ruined(irreplaceable) and most recently, the shoulder pads on a jacket purchased abroad were ruined and needed replacing. The jacket came back with the pads bunched up. I brought the jacket back to the shop and the owner did call. I was shocked when he offered to «split the cost» of having the shoulder pads replaced, since the garment had been cleaned before(at Red Robin). He did agree to pay for the replacement at a reputable tailoring shop and did send a card with a discount card for my next set of dry cleaning. Despite this, I doubt I will be back — particularly for really high quality garments.

Back when I got stuff dry cleaned regularly and I lived in an apartment nearby, I frequented this place and currently I bring my mom here from time to time to get her or my dad’s dry cleaning done. They do a good job, are friendly and as far as dry cleaners go, its a good experience. Four stars is a pretty rockin’ rating for a dry cleaners — I rarely go «whoohoo!» when headed to one. One day perhaps.

Terrible. They slash the special lining holders that hold lining in place in better slacks and dresses. It takes more than an hour to replace these holders so the lining doesn’t show when sitting down with lined slacks or ride up with dresses. Also, some of my items did not get clean and they charged me for the recleaning. Amazing. Worst ever! Rip off! They claim they won’t slash the lining holders upon request. This is a lie. They slash the holders even if you are adamant and want the holders left as they are in expensive clothing.

Always fast, always friendly. My dress shirts come back lightly starched and perfectly pressed, saving me the trouble of trying to iron them in my novice fashion. Drycleaning is done right too. I pulled one star because they no longer sew on buttons that come off during washing.
