I dropped several pairs of pants a few dresses off for some cleaning this summer. When I asked what they would charge per garment when I did leave the items at the counter, they were vague and said they charged more for«designer» items(such as BCBG). I could have bought a new outfit after what they charged me! And my «designer» items looked the same vs. my non-couture digs… but the worst part was… When my hubs picked up the dry cleaning several days later, they overcharged him(didn’t credit us for the promotion they were advertising which is the whole reason I came in in the first place). I had to call and ask for a credit which turned into a phone call game and I didn’t get an apology. There has to be a better place that is more upfront about charges and has slightly better customer service. Oh, and all my stains didn’t come out. I blame this on my own klutziness, but now I’m poor and still stained!

I’ve been using them regularly for cleaning basic shirts, pants, etc. for about a year now. No major complaints. No reasons to hate them OR love them. They get the job done just fine for me!

I’d give them one star, but I didn’t actually use the place, and that just seems too harsh. I needed a dress and some pants hemmed, and remembered when I lived in Highland I got some clothes tailored in the strip mall where Punch is, but couldn’t remember the name. Found Anderson after a google search, and thought that must have been it. I tried calling yesterday to ask a few questions, but no one answered the phone. It reminded me of the days when no one had voicemail or answering machines, and the phone would just ring in perpetuity. This happened twice, so I called another Anderson location and was told that«maybe they’re in back, but they’re there.» OK. Tried again today. Same thing. Called another Anderson location to verify I had the correct phone number, and the very nice woman said«Ugh! I probably get one call a day about this. Yes, that’s the number, and yes, they’re there.» So, apparently, these people just don’t answer the phone as a matter of course. I go after work, walk in and think«this doesn’t feel right.» I ask the teenage working there if they do alterations and if there’s someone who can do the measurements. «Um.no, you need to bring them in already pinned. But, there’s a place two doors down that will do that.» D’oh! Two doors down, Highland Tailor, is where I used to go. I make a run for it, and will Unilocal them when everything’s done. Long story short, Anderson may be a fine chain, but this location doesn’t seem too good.
