Terrible! Don’t go here unless you like rotten fish broth, because that’s what you will get. I ordered VEGETARIAN curry vegetables from the vegetarian section of the menu, with fried rice. The fried rice was ok, nothing special. I tasted the vegetables and immediately felt like they tasted off, but thought maybe it was bad seasonings or something… Should’ve stuck with my instincts. A few bites later I realized it tasted like fish. Bad fish, might I add. The vegetables in the curry were undercooked and crunchy with no flavor. The curry itself was super thin, obviously watered down by fish broth. I’m vegan, and I felt sick. I told my waitress, «Does this dish have fish in it? It’s supposed to be vegetarian.» She said no and giggled, not even taking me seriously or doing anything. There was clearly nasty fish broth in the dish! It smelled like bad fish. I will never come back here and will let everyone know how bad it is!

Food was good and now it’s not. Sticky rice was like chunks of clay. Beef was some sort of meat product. Phad thai was bland. Sorry to say goodbye.

Hella good. Came in when it was slow(I was the only one) and everyone greeted me and talked to me. Ordered the drunken noodle, told him white people spicy, came out perfect. Server checked back. Everyone and everything was great. Highly recommended.

My last recent experience wasn’t so great, but my sister and I decided to give this place one more try. We ordered a green curry and a red curry. Both of our curries had 3 large jalapenos quartered and submerged into the curry. It was odd to us, as Thai food is not traditionally cooked with jalapenos. To our dismay, the curry was overpowered by the jalapenos and the essence of the curry was just lacking. When I had the pad kee mao in the past, there were jalapenos in there too. I should have learned from past experience, but I didn’t expect jalapenos in their curry as well. I really think that if they used traditional Thai chilies as opposed to jalapenos, the food would really taste better. IMO, the source of spice used in their dishes is not palatable nor complimentary to the other Thai spices. In addition, the rice served with our curries was soggy and not fragrant. The quality of their rice and curries did not satisfy our craving for Thai. The employees were friendly and prompt, but unfortunately, I don’t think we will be back.

This place used to be my favorite but… they got a new cook. To be fair, I’ve tried it four times since he arrived in their kitchen …(I told you it was my favorite chicken larb)… and it is just not good any more. I’m heart broken. There is just too much salt and too crunch in your teeth dried rice that is not grinded small enough and too much fish sauce. I went home smelling like I worked on the fish docks all morning. Yuck!

Wow, their red curry with tofu is rocking my taste buds. I got the lunch portion which is pretty substantial. I like that the dish has a little heat to it along with the other flavors.

The worst Thai food I have ever wasted my money on. Do not bother eating here. Two dishes, two scoops of rice, one diet pepsi, one Thai tea, crappy service = 40 dollars. Time to go home and puke.

My favorite and go to Thai restaurant now that I live 15 mins away. My go to dishes are Po Teak, papaya, drunken noodle and sticky rice. Customer service is great here. Sometimes it can be really busy sometimes it’s quiet with about 4 other groups dining. It can get a bit expensive minimum starting price is $ 9. But for delicious food and better service as compared to south sac, I’m Willing to pay.

This is my favorite Thai food. It is also my comfort food when I sick! They are super nice, too! I especially love the curry and the vegetarian fried rice.

I have been coming here for years but after changing owners 3 times and procuring their menu way over what could even be considered remotely reasonable, I am never coming back. Actually, I am so disappointed I am writing this review on my phone while I’m still sitting in the restaurant. My family and I ordered 2 Pad Thai, Red Curry, and tofu eggplant. The Pad Thai had good flavor, however, when it was served, was warm to cold. The red curry was good, however, they charge $ 1.75 for each individual side of rice. Ordering a curry without rice in my opinion is kinda like eating a sandwich with no bread or phở with no noodles. The tofu eggplant was good. The additional star was because the wait staff was really nice. It pains me to give 2 stars but it’s the best I could do.

This restaurant is over priced which is ok but charged 18% included pre-tip before tax !!! Really??? Not honest restaurant and as generous tipper we don’t complain but this sounds like it’s again the law as they charge tax on the tip??? Is this making any sense to anyone? Foods is not good and not authentic Thai like it used to be and no more customers visit as I can see now — today is my son birthday so he wanted to revisit this place after some months but don’t know the place has new owner which is like Korean or Chinese run!!! However, I will file a complaint and this is my last time as they no longer has us as their frequent customers as we used to like place … Now new owner new style of business and I don’t like the way the service guy asked us «we will make you happy the way you like» after we asked about the tip and tax of the tip?!? Dishonest and try to scam customer… On the final invoice beside the total of all cost and tip and tax — they dare to leave the field for tip waiting for clueless people to fill out one more time… unnoticed!!! Watch out for this place if you visit them !!! Which I would not recommend to anyone I know … Worst restaurant besides some others for example Chinese’s East Café restaurant on Freeport!!! All the same way of making their extra money by cheating on the tip + tax!!!

Did everyone notice their overpriced menu? Service BAD: When the waitress come to serve the food, she just left the noodle soup at the corner of the table. Excuse me? I had to stand up and reach out to the table end to get my food? Even if this is a for shared item, should you at least try put in in the middle of the table? Food WORSE: Ordered the Thai Boat Noodle Soup. The soup tastes no flavor and like plain water. Called the waiters and all they could do is bring me some soysauce and salt. «I am sorry but next time we will do better». I am sorry too because there will be no next time. Worst Thai place I have ever been to in Sacramento area. I would give it a 0 start if there is such option. How could this business survive and get four star reviews?

This place has potential, but the customer service blew it. I went in on a weekday afternoon with a party of six. There was maybe another table or two of customers, definitely not busy. I ordered the mixed vegetable lunch special, which came with a salad that was nothing more than iceberg lettuce, bean sprouts and heavy, sugary dressing. When the check came, I noticed my bill was much higher than the lunch special price, and was told that brown rice was $ 2.75 more(than the white rice it came with), and that an 18 percent gratuity had been added. I understand the gratuity being added due to the party size, but not the amount to change from white to brown rice. And especially not being told until the bill arrived. When I went to pay with my card, I was told 50 cents would be added because the total wasn’t over $ 15. At this point I felt I was being milked for pennies. So I paid cash. There are plenty of delicious Thai restaurants in Sacramento that care about their customers and treat them with kindness and courtesy, however this isn’t one of them.

Nice décor. Okay service. Food was nothing to write home about but worth Unilocaling for the good of other hungry Thai food seekers. Ordered garlic pork with eggplant, sticky rice, drunken noodle with chicken, chicken larb, masaman curry with chicken, Thai ice coffee and Vietnamese ice coffee. Very basic food. Some plates too sweet or too salty. The drinks were way too sweet. Overly priced as well.

I still can’t feel my lips from last nights«Thai Hot» burn fest. My boyfriend was was recommended this spot from a Bangkok native and said that this place was the most authentic Thai establishment in Sacramento. For whatever reason, we opted to be adventurous and ordered a plate of the drunken noodles, Thai Spicy style. We also picked our usual pangang curry which was out of this world delish. Unfortunately(or fortunately?) the Thai Spicy was no joke and set our entire mouths on fire and pretty much scorched our tastebuds for the rest of the meal. Good show, Thai Spice, good show.

Just moved to a new(new to me, anyway) house in North Oak Park and decided to try this place on a whim because I didn’t want to drive all the way out to our previous favorite Thai restaurant. What a find! I only ordered take-out, so I cannot comment on the service, but they did bring us water while we waited for our order and were polite. I tried the red curry(panang) with beef and it was excellent. The sauce was thick and creamy and the beef was very thinly sliced and tender. The crispy pork was amazing! It is gluten-free and so delicious. This is our new favorite Thai restaurant.

Had a great dinner at Thai Spice recently. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and a casually upscale look. If you’re a fan of Dead Like Me(like me), you may notice that the wood décor and wall paneling makes the restaurant vaguely look like a Thai Der Waffle Haus.(How Nerds Amuse Themselves, Vol 1., coming to a bookstore soon.) Anyway it wasn’t very busy so we were seated and had our orders taken right away. I wanted a curry but forced myself to branch out, and ordered the Pad Se-ew instead. We enjoyed our thai iced coffee and tea while we waited about 10 – 15 minutes for our food. My Pad Se-ew was a big plate of large pan-friend noodles with chicken and broccoli– it reminded me of Chinese chow fun, which I love! B really liked his red curry, it was a bit too spicy for me but the flavor was amazing. Plus the leftovers tasted great the next day. Delicious food, enjoyable surroundings and very polite staff. Like it, love it, want some more of it. I’ll be back!

I came here on a Friday for lunch around 11:30 a.m. with a friend and have to say that I wasn’t too impressed overall. I did like that they have their own free off-street parking lot available and that 2-hour parking on the street was not metered. While it was easy to park my car, the actual restaurant was less desirable. There was very few patrons when I arrived, which wasn’t a problem since I rather have nobody there than be bumping elbows with the next table. I thought it was weird that while they have a vegetarian section of their menu that offered tofu, it didn’t include any of the noodle dishes. Then on the noodle section of the menu, they only offered meat options. Since I often order noodle dishes with tofu, I had to order off the menu in order to get a noodle dish with tofu. I would list the exact dish I ordered, but this place also does not have a website where I can double check the exact name of the dish. Whatever it was, it was okay, but not memorable. I also noticed that the inside of the restaurant had a strong smell of incense that was rather distracting. I actually decided to move where I was sitting because it was too strong and even when I moved, I could still smell it. If this was a Buddhist temple, I wouldn’t mind the smell, but it was rather distracting while I was eating my food. Not the worst Thai food I’ve had in Sacramento, but there are definitely better places to go in town.

Always drove past this place and decided to try this place. First impression when you enter the building is that it’s clean, has accommodations to many people, has good Air Condition, and the Thai Décor is pretty nice. The food was phenomenal. While Sacramento has a few Thai Restaurants, this by far is one of the better ones. In-terms of quality and the way they prepare the food just keeps me coming for more. I would recommend the Combination Seafood Tom Yum Soup, Thai Tea since there’s free refills, Drunken-Noodle, and finally Thai Mango Sticky Rice Pudding.
