What an amazing place. My boyfriend and I were interested in its grand opening a few months back so we gave it a try. It was nice to see that it was literally a family business that was so clean and tidy and everyone was eager to help. Our first trip was good enough for us to come back again months later! The food was delicious. I got the Barbecue Chicken and my boyfriend got some noodle soup thing(I forgot the name) but he loved his and I thought mine was really good! We went on a limb and tried their blue pea tea or whatever it was called, and it was so good we ordered another one! Everything there just tastes so fresh. I only took off one star because the proportions sometimes can be a little small, but it’s not a big deal compared to how good it tastes. Overall, we’ll definitely be coming back here again!

We’ve been here twice and are hooked! Tonight I had the green curry and it was great! Also got the mango and sticky rice — sooooo good. Both times I’ve been there the place is empty and I think to myself«more people need to discover this place». Excellent service and very fast for take-out.

Heard the hype. checked it out. Everything was just too sweet. Haven’t found a real authentic Thai restaurant yet. Boat noodles without blood just ain’t the same like it is in Thailand or even in Los Angeles at Sap Café which was featured on Bourdain’s LA segment. Missing the acidic taste from all the dishes. Papaya(Som Tum) salad was way too sweet. Hence the word, «Som», meaning sour in Thai. If you like sweet, it might be your cup of tea. I prefer Thai food balance with the right amount of acidity, sweetness, and spice. I was really hoping this would be my go to spot for the Boat noodles since it’s just too much work to make at home unless I’m hosting a few people. During the ordering process, felt a little pressured to try more than I needed for a serving of 2 which was a little uncomfortable. Give it a shot if you aren’t so critical of Thai food. Just wasn’t for me.

The humble looking exterior of this minuscule restaurant is deceiving. The inside was tiny but tidy and surprisingly posh for what appeared on the outside to be a fast food spot. There is an outdoor patio as well, which you’d probably need for a party of more than four. The food was excellent and it was a bargain to boot. Great spice in the Pad Kee-Mow(aka Drunken Noodle, aka #7) and deliciously rich Thai iced tea. However, my personal favorite was the fried bananas with ice cream. Service was casual, friendly and extremely quick. Our order arrived within 5 minutes and was steaming hot and freshly prepared. I will definitely be back.

Back in the day, Thai Palace on 35th and J was the BOMB and always super busy. When Thai Palace changed ownership a few years ago it wasn’t the same. Then, low and behold, I walk into Noodles To Thai For and see that it’s the owners of the original Thai Palace! NTTF is a small, cheeky place with fresh and fantastic food. Lake, Chan and crew will take care of you. Go get your Thai on at NTTF! Now!

Went back again to try their yellow curry with vegetables, which is what I usually order at thai restaurants(because I am a spice weenie) and helps me gauge other thai restaurants. A+ Different(in a good way) from other thai restaurants, but I’m not sure how to describe the difference. I definitely still recommend coming here!

This little spot use to house Shoki. They have minimal seating so the bulk of their orders were takeout. I think this might be more Lao style Thai food. We got their chicken satay and it was pretty average. I also got the blue pea juice because everybody was raving about it. I thought it was just okay. The boat noodles were pretty good — They mostly just tasted like Vietnamese phở with more anise. The tom yum noodles were really good! I liked the flavors in that a lot. Good, solid place.

I’ve been meaning to do a review of this place but I’ve been side tracked. I really like Noodles To Thai For. It’s located where the old Shoki is on 24th and somehow they made the space look a lot larger than what Shoki looked like plus they have seating outside. It’s right next to my work and when I saw the name of the restaurant I was instantly reeled in. It’s such a cute name! Anyways onto the food. My favorite is the boat noodles. It’s so flavorful and has a lot of meat in it. Keep in mind the menu doesn’t say it has tripe so if you’re not a fan like me, make sure you ask to have no tripe when you order. I’ve also had the pad thai which was also just as good but definitely go with the boat noodles. The flavor of the broth is just so delicious! You can make any dish a combo for an extra 3 dollars and you’ll get either cream cheese wontons or an egg roll and a drink. I’ve had both the cream cheese wontons and the egg roll and both are good but I definitely recommend the wontons. The service here is awesome too. They’re really attentive and super polite. The older woman that works there is always coming around and asking how everything is and if there’s anything you may need. SONICE! The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is that the prices are pretty high for the amount of food you get. If the prices were more proportionate to the amount of food they give you then I’d give them that star but aside from that everything here is awesome.

I got the noodle, #1 Boat. A little different than what I usually get but it was good. Change up to Thai coffee instead of Thai tea, good too. The dish was aliitle sweet, salty, and spicy. Excellent! Location wasn’t that busy for sit in, but to go was. Everything came fast and hot. The owner and staffs was very very friendly. I got greeted right away like everyone that came in. Stop by for a quick bit. I would recommend. Thanks Noodle to Thai

I got to be here at least once a week. This is a real thai food that you can’t find up here. I came from southern California and this is the right place to come. Nice staff too.

This place is super small. It only has about 6 tables so it gets packed for that reason. I’ve been wanting to try this place because I saw someone post about their boat noodle and boat noodle is my favorite. My mom and I decided to have lunch here today. We ordered boat noodle to share, chicken wings, and pork belly with Chinese broccoli. I thought the boat noodle was good but a little on the sweet side so I added some of the fish sauce pepper which made it a lot better. The chicken wings were very sweet as well. Too sweet for me. All I tasted was sweet. No other season at all. So I didn’t really care for it. My mom liked it because she enjoys the sweetness of it. I did enjoy the pork belly with broccoli though. It was simple but flavorful. The pork belly still had a crunch to it as well. Although I wish they would use more of the leaf part instead of the hard stem from the Chinese broccoli. The staff was very nice and the service was quick so that was a plus.

Very cute little eatery that’s been opened for only a few months. Didn’t know it existed until we happened to run right past it. Seating is limited due to the small venue, but we were able to be seated quickly for a late lunch(2pm). The staff was warm and welcoming and the server and cook made it a priority to greet us and make small conversation. They have the typical«Thai» fair offerings and a few quirks here and there, but I ordered the Pad Krapow and it was the best that I’ve had. Instead of just basil, onions, bell peppers, and beef, this restaurant also added bamboo shoots and green beans. It was delicious! Since we now know that this place exists, we won’t have to resort to the higher-priced options, that only offer minimal taste.

The people here are pretty friendly and some of the food are good(panang curry is my favorite). The Tom yum pork noodle soup is absolutely terrible… It tastes like vinegar soup. I’m allergic to vinegar too. The menu doesn’t say what kind of sauces in the soup. So make sure to ask what’s in your meal. My friend added some sugar and fish sauce in the soup to make it taste better but it taste so bad, there was no way to fix it. We will never order this soup from this place again.

Thai food that did not disappoint at all! Came for dinner an hour before closing. Was a Lil iffy because there were no other customers beside me and my friends. We were hungry and didn’t care.(More ppl came a Lil later after us) Let’s talk food! Papaya salad — spicy, sweet, & sour just like it should be! Thumbs up BBQ meatballs– wasn’t sure if it was pork or beef, but it was yummy. They served it with sweet chili sauce.(no bbq sauce) Pad kee Mao(drunken noodles) — flavors was on point. Boat Noodles — let’s say if I wasn’t so stuffed, I would’ve drank the broth. Green curry– perfection. It was really good. Blue pea juice– drink was refreshing and unique. Place is small. Service is great. I would definitely come back.

I came here for lunch on a Monday with my brother to check it out. I was able to easily find free 1-hour parking nearby, but thought to myself I better be mindful of the time. The restaurant is very small and has both an indoor and outdoor section. We decided to sit outside and it was pretty comfortable. I noticed that the menu didn’t appear to be very vegetarian friendly, but confirmed with the waitstaff that they do carry tofu and can add it to any of the dishes. The staff was very friendly the entire time we were there. I ordered the Pad See-Ew with tofu and my brother ordered the egg rolls. I realized that I never said how spicy I wanted my food and was never asked about it either, so my food came out mild. I’m not sure if they usually don’t ask about spice level or if they rely on the customer to state their preference without being prompted. No big deal though, I can enjoy food that is mild. My brother liked his egg rolls and I thought my Pad See-Ew was just okay. The tofu wasn’t crispy and had sort of an off taste to it. Perhaps the dishes with meat are better than those ordered to be vegetarian? I’m happy I checked them out, but don’t see myself coming back anytime soon.

Noodles to Thai For is good but it is not a 5* Unilocal restaurant. Service is excellent. It is prompt, and super-friendly. The place is clean and you can get a very good lunch plate at a reasonable price and be in and out of there in no time. But for dinner, the menu selections are limited. Two of us had the Tom Yum Pork Noodle Soup and the Thai Fried Rice with chicken. The soup had a wonderful lemon grass, cilantro, chili flavor and was the better of the two dishes. The Thai Fried Rice on the other hand did not have enough flavor/spice. Adding some pepper water and chili paste helped to kick it up a notch. The BBQ meatballs appeared to be processed meat(with plenty of filler) and lacked flavor. I’ll go back and give them another try but they still have a ways to go before they get 4* or 5*.

Cute little resto that opened fairly recently. Seating inside is minimal but they have an outdoor patio. All the workers were really sweet and very welcoming. Boat noodles were so yummy! The broth was flavorful and the meatballs were sooooo good! More please! Although I wasn’t pressed for time, I managed to come in at noon and order, inhale, and pay for my food within 30mins. Wish they had some lunch specials.

This place is the cutest!!! I am embarrassed to admit my boyfriend and I ate across the street for dinner, on the walk back to the car we spotted this place… I remembered reading about it and when I saw it had opened I got so excited… needless to say I convinced my boyfriend to have a second dinner so I could try it(moo)… We went inside and it was adorable! We were greeted immediately by the nicest staff members and we felt right at home. After looking over the menu we decided to split the drunken noodles… they were perfectly cooked with lots of flavor. You could definitely taste the basil more then I’m used to which I loved. A little less saucy then drunken noodles im used to but still very tasty. This is clearly a family run business and I hope they succeed. Great addition to the neighborhood! Only downside is no alcohol but the women said they were slowly working on it. Last but not least prices are amazing!!! Most expensive thing on the menu was $ 7.95. Great outdoor patio!
