Subway

I love subway. I know some people love it some people hate it I happened to be a big fan more so then Quiznos or other sandwich places. This place is your average Subway store. When I’ve been in the store has always been clean the staff has always been friendly. A couple times they have not had the bread I wanted and one time they were out of soup when I was picking up an order for a friend. I understand these things happen and wouldn’t give them a bad review based on a couple of experiences where I couldn’t get what I wanted. The food has always been fresh not like some where you can tell it’s been sitting out all day. If you go in the evening parking can be a challenge because it’s close to a 24 HR fitness and the lots gets full.

This Subway is an adequate Subway. It has all the things Subways have. Sandwich ingredients. Sandwich assemblers. Ovens. Seats. Other stuff.
I guess it’s healthier than other fast food. It’s mediocre for a sandwich shop. You can barely even taste the shoe rubber. Apparently if you ingest too much shoe rubber you acquire a taste for teenage boys.
Don’t put too many ingredients or condiments on your thingie. They don’t always go well together and then your sandwich ends up tasting all confusing.

I consistently had some of the worst experiences here at this subway location. Which is unbelievable because subway has always had a strong reputation for customer service and making great sandwiches. When I would come in I always felt uncomfortable getting in line to order a sandwich because the girls that work here are so rude and seem upset about the fact that they’re having to make a sandwich for you. I never spoke up about it I just ignored it and stayed positive about it. It was funny because I would come in to this location almost everyday on my lunch breaks and actually got a chance to meet the owner who is an awesome guy and is the example of what subway represents. We had a great conversation about how he had plans on opening another restaurant in Natomas and was extremely nice. I mentioned how often I came to this location and He asked me how I felt about the service of his employees. I wanted to tell him the truth but I’m not one of those guys that complains and throws people under the bus with their bosses so I lied and said it was great everytime I come they have great service and great sandwiches. No complaints.
But one day recently I went in to order a sandwich and the young lady with blonde hair I believe she is the supervisor there called me up. Looked at me like she was disgusted with having to serve me and seemed really disengaged. She asked me what I wanted on the sandwich and normally I just have a basic sandwich and usually can state what I want in one saying but as I was telling her what I wanted she cut me off and said «Umm you can state what veggies you want when we get there thank you.» I was shocked out of my pants but once again I refrained from reacting and before she said that I told her I wanted mayonnaise on the sandwich no mustard after cutting me off and making her statement she grabs the mustard and asks me «so you want mustard right?» And before I could even respond she squeezes the mustard on to the sandwich and I said no I wanted mayonnaise no mustard. This is where it got really nasty and aggressive, she looks at me like I was insane and says «ughh». Grabs the sandwich slams it into the trash can. goes to the back room grabs some bread comes back literally throws open the caps that cover the meats, turns around and slams the microwave shut. I couldn’t handle it anymore and I said «stop right there forget the sandwich you seem really upset, you have terrible f***ing service I am never coming back to this location.»
I could not believe the way she acted that day. I get it some days we just don’t want to be at work and have personal problems that effect you at work. But you should never take it out on the customer. You don’t own this business. This is not your restaurant you work for a company voluntarily and you give up certain rights when you choose to do so. You can’t just behave and have outbursts when you feel like it. Or provide great service when you feel like it. You do it every day with every single customer because that it was what the company is PAYING YOU TO DO! I feel sorry for the owner for not knowing what is truly going on in his business. Go down the street to the subway by the nugget market, they make better sandwiches and they always have a positive attitude when they interact with you.

I have been to several subway stores in the past. I have to say that this location is one of the worst.
My biggest complaint is the way my sandwich is prepared, everything put in the middle of bread, no spreading out the meat, produce. One straight line of mayo down the center on top of produce. What really got me was last week I tried them one last time
I ordered avacado on my footlog. There was only a little over ¼ of a half of avacado in their bin. The guy cut the avacado as thin as he could and spread it over the sandwhich, really? I usually get that amount on a 6 inch. When I asked for more the guy let out a big sigh, because of course it meant he would now have to go to the back to get more. I am paying more for avacado to begin with. Second you are going to have to get more anyway as I’m sure not going to be the last to order it. Third if it is such an inconvenience to make a sandwhich as ordered, find another job. Really made me feel as if I were a an inconvenience.

Went there today. There was a girl behind the counter with her hair almost touching the food and not in uniform. I belive she was an employee and off the clock. But they also talked more then make sure I was happy with my order. I will never return go this subway. Thank goodness there is one on every corner.

I believe the woman who served me is named Kansi, she was on point and took special care to make my picky sandwhich just perfect and she was very polite and had great customer service and made my samdwhich quickly. The place is clean too.

10/​11/​2015: Today Deanna Jaxine Stinson and I, hiked along Frank Seymour Park, Ellsworth C. Zacharias Park, Sacramento River levy. Deanna with her Subway gift card treated me to a Black Forest ham /​cheese sandwich on honey oats bread, she had a veggie sandwich, 2 chips, 2 sodas and has a $ 1.50 left on her card. The guy making our sandwiches was very considerate with Deanna and asked her if she wanted him to take off his gloves, because she is a vegetarian. Deanna told him, no and appreciated the fact he was so concerned. Here is a photo slide of our day:

This place is not excellent, but it’s one of the better Subways I been to in Sacramento. The workers here are nice and usually welcomes me when I walk in. They are pretty fast with making my sandwiches and the portion is decent, unlike other locations that gives you tiny amount of meat and veggies. Parking is okay and I like that they have a few parking spaces just for Subway customers :)

This is the best subway in this area. They are not skimpy on the ingredients. We come here every week. Great service tonite

Like any normal fast food service restaurant, quality of the food looks good. Subway is known for making everything fresh. Everything looks good.
I’m satisfied after my morning workout.

This is the worst subway I’ve been to. Here are my complaints:
1. I ordered an oven roasted chicken sandwich. She warmed up the chicken in the microwave, made my sandwich but never put the chicken in. I realized there was no chicken after I left. I returned to get a refund and they didn’t believe me until they checked the microwave and saw the chicken.
2. They were out of spinach.
3. As the lady wrapped up my sandwich a lot of tomatoes and cucumber fell out. Instead of putting it back in the sandwich she just tossed it and wrapped the sandwich.
4. I attempt to use Apple pay. It doesn’t work and the cashier proceeds to tell me that I’m not doing it correctly even though I’ve used it 20+ times at other subways. Cashier was clueless and I had to tell him to ring it up as credit and not «mobile pay» which is google wallet I believe.
I’m never returning to this subway.

I’ve been going to this Subway way before they moved here from the Promenade Shopping Center. They are always on point and fast. The seating area is clean and service is satisfactory. I like all the windows this Subway has makes it seem more roomy and bright. Parking lot is small but nice and shady in the summer.

Came in around 2:45pm. Nobody in there & there was no where to sit because the tables were all dirty! 2 girls were in the back. The 3^rd person came in & starting cleaning the tables.

I ordered the pastrami sandwich and pretty much got a fat sandwich with a taste of pastrami. I was very dissatisfied and will never be ordering a pastrami sandwich let alone go to this location. The one of florin road is better.

I don’t usually write bad reviews unless I’ve had several bad experiences. Today I was denied a coupon I received recently through the mail. It’s not this one instance I’m upset about, but rather the accumulated disappointments.
Anyways, I won’t be eating at this particular Subway anymore and will be promptly throwing away the rest of the coupons. Indian givers really irk me, sorry.

I am utterly disgusted with the uncleanliness of the workers here. While walking up to the door I could see through the window that one of the workers was taking out the trash. When I entered I guess no one knew I was there because I had to ask if they were still open to get assistance. The worker who by they way was the same one dumping the trash proceeded to assist me but failed to wash her hands before putting on her gloves. I asked her politely if she was going to wash her hands after dumping the trash & she impolitely responded back «well I’m putting on gloves» as she proceeded to the sink to wash her hands. I informed her that even though she was putting on gloves she touched them with her dirty hands prior to putting them on. This is an extreme health hazard! & the worst part about it she thought it was ok. Due to her nastiness & even nastier attitude I left & went to the Subway on Florin Rd where I have NEVER witnessed something like this.

I like this Subway. The staff is very friendly, professional and clean. To date, all of our sandwiches that have been made at this location have been great so we go there maybe once a week. It is nice that they have designated parking for the store so it is an easy in and out.

I came in today 8÷12÷13 at about 12:45pm. There were three employees, 1 guy and two girls… it wasn’t really busy.
I’m giving them 1 star as I got the feeling I was «interrupting» them with my food order… specfically the two girls. I sensed a bad attitude from them, like they didn’t want to be there…
There are so many other options for lunch… so I will not be coming back even though the business is very close to my home.

I like this location, the people are pleasant and it’s clean.
Every sandwich I’ve purchased has been made great, so I will be coming here regularly.
This is a good Subway!

I like this Subway, it’s clean, the sandwiches are prepared nicely, and it tastes great. I love all the fresh veggies and the extra addition of avocado! The honey oat bread is fantastic, because its soft and has a nice hearty flavor that is slightly sweet. The staff is friendly, and eager to help you. They even have new 15 minutes parking spots, which is nice, being that the parking lot is (always) jammed packed.
