Every time I walk threw the door the crew here already knows what I’m ordering. I like that they remember my face. They have a great pumpkin chai latte.

I absolutely adore this starbucks!!! I am a Stfrancis high student and I walk to this particular Starbucks every single day regardless if it’s raining or 1000 degrees out. The employees are the best and most kind employees I’ve ever met. They always ask how my day was or how school was and I really really appreciate that. This Starbucks is literally like my second home. They have never gotten my order wrong or given me a dirty look or anything. YOUGUYSAREMYFAVORITESTARBUCKS and honestly I would give you 1000⁄5 but I can’t so. Thanks for always being so kind to me and I’ll definitely continue to come here(:

Thank you ladies in the morning for always taking good care of me. I’m pretty consistent with my drinks and as soon as I walk in they already know… sometimes getting it started. I can’t thank them enough for being so friendly and getting my day started. I’m sure I am a zombie when I first walk in but their friendly hello and how are you doing makes all the difference. Just a few shout outs to my morning baristas(Erin, Jenn(sad she left but I’m happy for her, and their morning group). They always make my day. Nice to live next to a Starbucks with friendly service. Of course the parking is a bit difficult but I’d come here vs other Starbucks.

Caffeine-ing me for forever… …this place will always be one of my favorite Starbucks’. They caffeinated me through some of the worst commutes I hope I’ll ever have to endure. When you see people at 5:30AM Monday through Friday, it is hard not to start a repertoire with them. Years later, when I see the staff that I used to see daily, they remember me. My name. My drink. My life. My love for the SF Giants. It’s a great feeling. As I go in, every so often, these days. I still smile. It has nothing to do with the current staff or that day or time, but just knowing that this location was once ‘my spot’. I haven’t ever had a bad experience here. It’s the Starbucks that I go to on Christmas morning, since I’m in charge of bringing the happy juice for presents! This one is fairly busy and fairly small, with probably the worst parking situation. EVER. Since it’s on the corner of two fairly busy streets, parking road rage is probably an every day occurrence. Also, if you can snag a seat, snag it fast and keep it. This location is across the street from a huge apartment complex that houses tons of Sac State students. So obviously, coffee shop plus students, equals endless refills and no seats for the everyday folk. Once you know the intricacies of this location, you’ll probably want to keep coming back. They consistently pump out caffeinated goodness and they just make you feel good! If Cheer’s was a coffee shop, it would be here…

First time here and the parking lot is small & you’ll have to back up out the parking lot into a main st so be careful. It was super hot out and this Starbucks was ice cold! the cashier was super kind & didn’t judge my $ 5 reload. I got an iced caramel macchiato with 3 extra pumps of vanilla and extra caramel.(I’m a sugar junky) but i don’t like my coffee without sugar and milk and It takes away the bitter black coffee taste. Overall I like this Starbucks but it’s too far away from my house

Been coming over to this area more and more and stopped in here a few times and met a client here as well. The parking is sketchy but only because I am a chicken! There were spots when I came in here a few times but I worried about getting out later so I just opt for parking on the street and/or around the corner. The drinks however are fabulous here and they have made the best hot Oprah chai I have had in a long time. I used to have another favorite Starbucks but this one is WAY better. I order it with 10 pumps of chai, non fat milk, extra hot(to slow me down) and it comes perfect. Lately the other Starbucks have been serving extra hot drinks lukewarm :(I will return here for sure. I notice they are busier in the morning and afternoons are hit or miss. Seating areas are nice and clean and staff is friendly and fast.

Today I came in for the first time in awhile. I must add that the service was actually better then the past few times. I was greeted by a very friendly young barista who was personable and helped me figure out which drink I used to have on a hot day. Passion fruit lemonade! They also recommended that I add a splash of raspberry to it! This was a good call and it was rather tasty! The friendly barista made my day! Hooray!

This is literally the WORST Starbucks I have ever been too!!! I go there every weekend(in the morning) thinking that it will get better, but the cashiers mess up every single time! They have gotten my order wrong multiple times, I have been over charged multiple times(and the lady couldn’t even admit that she made the mistake of double charging me), and they have also incorrectly wrung up my orders. I will NEVER go back to this Starbucks!

An average starbucks but they ale always closed 20 – 30 min early. I liked to stop by on my way home from work but never knew if they would be open or not.

This Starbucks is really tiny but really cozy. Like the Starbucks on Stockton Blvd, both of these locations have very little parking, so snap up a space when you can and do not fret if the spaces are all filled for there is another Starbucks down 65th on Folsom Blvd with better hours, more parking, and more seating. Having said that, this little location does have its merits. With such a small location, the setting is definitely more intimate than other Starbucks. It has huge windows for looking out on to the street and a couple tables outside if you want to brave breathing in the busy intersection traffic. It seems the staff is a little more relaxed since they don’t have that constant stream of customers, they have time to make your drink and talk to you at the same time. When I went there again yesterday it seemed that most of the customers who were there are regulars, known by name and preferred drink. I think that is very nice and displays excellent customer service. Good job guys! Of course I am not a regular but I did get my venti iced coffee, black with no problem. Thanks guys, keep up the good work. I realize that you can’t do anything about the parking situation and that most of your customers most likely walk over from the neighboring houses and apartment complexes. I wish I could! Since I can’t I will be at the one on Alhambra or Folsom unless the coffee gods should ever look down on me and let me snag a parking spot again.

Their chai with double/triple shot express hits the spot every time. This is the only drink that will wake me up! I’ve tried the Vietnamese coffee and that’s nothing. Seriously, I could just sleep within 15 minutes of drinking the Vietnamese coffee. Oh, I so do love their chocolate chip cookies. Have the staff warm it up wee bit and the cookie will taste like its right out of the oven! Oh, its heavenly! Ok, here’s my one complaint! Starbucks staff fakes their personality. Not everyone is perky happy 24⁄7! I know a few people who works at Starbucks and those individuals are the grumpiest people ever! When they’re on the clock at Starbucks, man they’re so nice! Its so scary that I ask them to please stop smiling and I’ll tip them. Wherever I travel, I try to collect Starbucks cards and cups for my friends and family. My next stop will be Hawaii and Florida! Starbucks has cute cup collections.

I love this Starbucks! The ladies are quick, accurate and FRIENDLY! It’s a bit of a pain to get in/out of their parking lot, so I park across the street and walk over.

Worst Starbucks ever!!! Every single order was wrong and the barista would roll her eyes when she made it wrong! The cashier took the orders too fast and wouldn’t even wait for customers to finish ordering which is why things were so messed up. Zero customer service skills.

The best starbucks I’ve been to, everyone here is friendly especially Liz(Elizabeth)! She is awesome, always greets you when you walk in and makes waiting in a long line enjoyable. They make the drinks pretty fast and with a smile on their face. The only down side is their parking lot. It’s small, «L» shaped, and on a very busy street. But it doesn’t matter because the workers here are awesome!

Elisabeth is amazing! So spirited! So kind and loving! I just stopped in to get a quick Tux Hot Chocolate and she made the whole experience awesome! She was training a new hire and from a customer stand point, she is the best person to train the new hire and show her a perfect example of excellent customer service!

The blonde man taking orders was rude, while the person serving(Tanedda I think) was genuine and kind. The parking is atrocious and the place is small and pretty crowded.

Where are the Starbucks employees that all the other Unilocalers are raving about? I would like to meet them, because they sure haven’t been at this Starbucks when I’ve been there. Roomie and I tried to go to this Starbucks today. We got there at 8:35. They close at 8:30. Not only were they already all locked up and cleaning, but one of the baristas, who was cleaning up just near the glass doors, walked right past us, without even acknowledging that there was a group of people standing outside the doors. Yes, by that time, it was a group of at least 5 of us who had all happened upon this same Starbucks a mere 5 mins after closing. Yes, you were closed and we should have known better, but you couldn’t even acknowledge us? A simple, «hey guys, sorry, we’re closed!» would have assuaged me, but alas, you couldn’t even bring yourself to look at us. Were we that hideous? Other things I am not a fan of: — Parking: Oy, such a mess. There’s barely any parking spaces to begin with, and what little ones they have are on an incline and force you to backup into the street when you’re trying to leave, which is no easy feat because… — Location: this Starbucks is located on such a busy intersection– 65th and Broadway. When you’re trying to leave the terrible parking lot, you inevitably end up backing up into the street(Broadway or 65th), which can be hazardous at times because there are quite often cars trying to turn the corner — Time: Seriously Starbucks, you close at 8:30? Really, really? Perhaps these faults would not be as glaringly obvious to me if it was not for the fact that this Starbucks has a sister store just a few blocks down the street at 65th and Folsom that manages to get all those things right. tl;dr: You’re probably better off just going to the next closest Starbucks, which is literally just down the street at 65th and Folsom. The baristas there are nicer, they close a bit later, and the location is so much more convenient. So much so that after Roomie and I were shot down by this Starbucks, we went to the one on 65th and Folsom and ran into one of the other people who had been disappointed by this Starbucks. We bonded over our mutual distaste of this one.

Starbuck’s Coffeehouses are not all the same nor are all employees of a particular establishment created equal. That said this location has average employees and a great one. I have always had ok/good service at this one in the evenings but last night it was exceptional. I wish she had given me a receipt so I could recognize her more. She was young, brown hair, working between 6pm and 7pm on 9−9−13. She was here with an older but not old employee also with dark hair. The young woman was the poster child for Starbuck’s. Friendly, talkative, a yes attitude, explained items, great service, brought drink out to me, etc. My words don’t do her justice. She was super service oriented and not intrusive. The location itself is on a super busy corner at 65th and Broadway in a tiny strip mall surrounded by residences on two sides. Wing Stop is also in this building. The parking is 16 spaces including disabled spots,(8 on each side with a patio area in between) in the front. It sounds like enough but it never is and often I have to park across the street and risk life and limb to cross. Not Good. To find it, is easy from Highway 50, the nearby Target or even the UCD Med Center. It is across from another older strip mall with Goodwill express, a cleaners etc. Watch out, cars drive too fast and run red lights. Cars get hit near this corner or have near misses. But that isn’t Starbuck’s fault. it is a cute corner location. The inside is clean, albeit small and gives you a laid back, cozy feeling.
