Me and my dad went here to eat lunch and found a piece of wire in my food. No complaints with the taste of food it was good for a cheap price. But make sure to check your food when you come here. The wire that i found in my food is about couple inches long. Just check your food before you eat it.

Man on man. Today was my first time eating there. Warning– the wait is sooooooo long! Me and my bf ordered two basic combo plates and it was a hr wait. Honestly if we didn’t pay before I would’ve left. But seriously that food was soooo bomb. The chow main alone is the best I ever had. The chicken taste like chicken and not greesy bread deep fried. The rice was just uhm rice .the pot stickers was really good coyldve used a lil more stuffing. The cashier only wanted to give me one red pepper sauce… tf…lol. Oh and I orderd my food extra spicy and my bf regular and it was swapped around. But yall have to try. I dont want to give it 4 stars cuz that’s 2 low but 5 is a lil too high. Once again the wait was entirely too long.

Three stars just because the food is «bleh.» The customer service is not to shabby but the menu up top has no prices either. It ended up being super cheap and affordable but the quality isn’t there. I’ve had quite a lot of American Chinese food and honestly this isn’t one of my favorites.
There are only a few seats that are available to sit and enjoy the food, definitely not for one to bring a family but it is pretty clean and tidy inside.

This is probably one of the best Chinese foods I’ve tried. This is coming from who is from Bay Area and I’m no stranger to Chinese food. Very consistent quality. Since I tried it for the first time I’ve been coming here 2x a week.

FIRST TRY — NOT BAD
Had some Szechuan Shrimp and Paper Wrapped Chicken.
The shrimp was surprisingly good. I’ll definitely repeat that dish.
The Paper Wrapped Chicken, however, was horrible. Burned inside, chunks instead of pressed ground meat… just bad. Could not eat it.
I’ll be back to try other dishes, but not that chicken.

Cheap, fresh, and delicious. Can’t beat that. Place can get pretty busy and might be a little wait. Highly suggest you call in ahead of time. This place is made for to-​go purposes, hence the name «express». There’s not much room for dine-​in. Still the price and the food can’t be beat. I highly suggest you give this place a try if you love Chinese food. Not too greasy and large portion.

I live down the street, which is good and bad because the food is good despite is being a home in the wall. It’s like a once every 2 weeks spot for sure. The curry is always good and the sesame chicken is my favorite because I like sweet food. The curry is for my boyfriend who likes spicy. The chicken chow mein is always on point. The pork fried rice is good too. They make everything fresh to order, also a plus. I hate the parking lot, small spaces and someone is always trying to sell dvds I respect the hustle but NO Thank You ! The biggest tip I could give is call and order then go pick it up. I’ve waited there 30 minutes one time and I was starving, wasn’t a good time.

Good take out Chinese. Very well rounded menu with over 100 options. Staff is very friendly polite and the portions are great. Parking lot is a little tricky and small and ghetto galore. but I will return (pepper spray in hand of course) and get lunch again. Its very good food and made to order.

Hole in the wall but some of the best food! Living here in the area, there aren’t many choices. My mom introduced me to this place and needless to say, I was absolutely surprised. Good prices, for good food. You cannot beat that!

I really enjoyed Rich Express which I randomly found in Elk Grove. I asked for low sodium food and was treated to a delicious and huge lunch for only 8 dollars. Starting with delicate egg flower soup, the plate consisted of a crunchy, not greasy, vegetarian egg roll, braised tofu and mushrooms over very fresh bok choy, flavorful and colorful chicken chow mein (again not greasy). I had enough food for both lunch and dinner. A few days later I took my co-​worker who ordered cashew chicken and found it delicious. The owner, Tiffany, is very sweet and friendly and happily interpreted my compliments to the chef who spoke Chinese when I peeked my head in the kitchen door.

Best Chinese Food takeout to go! Just call in ahead of time so you can pick it up as soon as you arrive. Lovely lady that takes your order and the food is really cheap and amazing. Their chow mein tastes way better than a lot of larger Chinese restaurants. Really recommend Rich!

Oh my goodness why haven’t I found this place sooner? It’s so delicious and made when you order. Hot fresh food and the lady behind the counter was super nice! Definently recommend calling ahead of time as this place is pretty much made for takeout, there are only a couple of tables.

This place is well worth the drive. Anytime I’m on this side of time I order here. Tonight I got their general chicken combination plate for the first time and as usual the dish was fresh, hot and sooooo delicious. From the fried rice to the chow mein and the general chicken each had great flavor and was cooked to perfection. I will return. Probably this weekend. LOL. I’m a happy customer did I mention it was only $ 13.00 for 2 combination plates. You can’t ask for more than that.

Great neighborhood eatery! Have never been disappointed. Great food, service, conversation and ambiance. Now with the addition of a flatscreen t. v…eating & watching sports is all good! I live right around the corer from Rich’s and I find myself stopping by at least once a week. Every single time I’ve ordered I’ve been happy with my food. It’s all ways made fresh to order, the portions are large, and the food is delicious.
This is a take-​out only spot, and although they have a few tall tables and chairs, most folks choose to take their food home with them. I recommend their combo menu. An entre item, chow-​mein noodles and fried rice, all for less than you would pay for a combo meal at a chain fast food place.
Keep in mind, all items are made fresh, and it might take a bit for the kitchen to prepare your order, but the brief wait will be well worth it. Call ahead if you are short on time, and your order will probably be ready when you arrive.
