I eat Chinese food more than I should and I usually go to a Panda Express to satisfy my craving. My husband is vegetarian and he loves the eggplant and tofu dish however, it is not always available in fact there is one store closer to me that doesn’t make it at all. I called this store and asked if they have the dish available, it wasn’t(not surprised at all lol) but the lady told me she’ll call it in and it should be ready when we get there. True enough it was ready when we got there about 15 mins later. I give the food 4 stars because the taste and quality is consistent but it’s the great customer service that bumped my review to 5 stars.

This Panda is the only Panda in our neighborhood, which sucks because the customer service and food quality at this location are totally sub-par! There’s ALWAYS a wait time, even if there are only three people in line. The staff usually make it seem as though serving customers fresh food in a timely manner is a major hassle and they are being imposed upon. The food is burned(not just a little, but like, completely charred) half of the time. This particular store totally sucks. It only gets 2 stars because it’s the only place to get cheap chow mein and orange chicken near my house.

I frequent Panda and enjoy the food, but this location is whack! Friendly customer service is always hit or miss, and I cannot understand why there’s always a line with backed up orders waiting to be finished. I don’t know if it’s just me being a pig or if the portions they are dishing out as of recently are much smaller. I have no idea what is going on at this one, but I hope they get their act together because it’s the closest one to me and I need my Kung Pao fix!

I love Panda Express. This store has me singing a different tune though. The food is always great no matter where I go, you just have to HAVE the food first! I stopped in at 9pm for a late dinner, and they had TWO entrees left. They had one more hour to go till they closed, they could have at least had some more options. I will never be coming to this location again. Who ever is in charge needs to get with the program. Awful experience.

So after waiting 30 minutes in line with only a few people in front of me. And looking for a parking spot in a lot that can only park 20 cars, I get served food that isn’t even worthy of being called food. It tastes old and stale. I couldn’t even finish my meal before I threw it away, I want my money back panda. I’m going to upload a picture of the teriyaki chicken they gave me, I wonder if you would wanna go there after seeing it. I do not recommend going here even if it was free.

We visited yesterday and nothing was cooked right. The rice was mainly vegis and missing the egg that every other panda has in it. It wasnt browned or flavored like it should of been. The orange chicken was hard as a rock and tasted really old. The chow mein was cold. And just blah. ITMADEMEVERYSICK.

I have to say this the worst location I’ve been to. I’ve waited a few times to write a review but this time was the cherry on top. The big ofey looking chef at the grill was being sarcastic as the young lady at the register was trying to take handle all of the orders he couldn’t keep up with. It’s always slow though. Ive always wait forever. My hats off the the ladies handling the front. They’re very courteous and sweet waiting for the cooks every time.

Don’t expect all or only Chinese food. It’s completely Americanized — but for those who are new to Asian food, will probably like Panda’s menu. Even though it’s not completely Chinese, the food is certainly tasty. There are some good menu options. I must say, the parking is almost always TERRIBLE. This is what prevents me from choosing Panda over some other places in the area.

I went in a half hour before closing. There was hardly any food to choose from. The cooks were already cleaning up. They were very clear that they didn’t want to make anything else, but the chow mein that was going to be ready in about 5 minutes. After the chow mein was done, they asked about main entrees. I saw they had teriyaki chicken left, so I got that. I went to sit down, and noticed there was no teriyaki sauce. I went up to employee, and they informed me that they had ran out, and I would have to wait 5 more minutes for the sauce. They tried to talk me out of them making sauce. What mad me mad, was that no one said there was no sauce! They waited for me to complain. Skip this Panda if you are coming late… the parking lot is a mad house on a nice night w starbucks.

So, I came to Sacramento for business, but am from the bay area. I went to this place 2 times in a 30 minute span to see if my first visit was a fluke. NOPE, customer service was TERRIBLE. it was 8:30 pm and I asked, «are you guys closing soon?» they don’t reply, they close at 10:30, The guy I dealt with TWICE, was just an idiot!!! BADEXPERIENCE! No future in his fronting!

Poor management. It’s only one star because the food is ok. There are 6 workers and only 2 working with the customers. It took me 30 minutes to get my food. Workers were marking stuff on packages. Last time I waited 10 minutes in line and there was only one customer in front of me. Poor management and it takes forever to get food!

Food quality was good, but a 20 minute wait for 8 customers. I stopped by about ten days ago, their ice machine was not functioning. Still broken today. I guess this location has ice issues permanently

The food is just like every Panda … Not great, not bad. However, this is easily the worst panda location I’ve ever been in. Twice in the last two weeks, they haven’t had any ice and neglected to inform me before I placed my order. One time the steamed rice was crunchy because they didn’t really have it ready before they opened. How do you not have ice? The service is also slower at this one than others I’ve been to. Last but not least, parking is usually a major pain here. Won’t be coming back.

This place is a complete joke every time. Today, half the food wasn’t even ready by opening time. I had to wait 10+ minutes just for the teriyaki sauce to be made. Wow. Then there was some lady in her sweats helping customers while her 2 daughters were eating at a table. What!!! Not very sanitary to me… Not going there again!

When I first saw the rating for this place I was like«come on. it’s a panda express. they’re all the same. it deserves more than a 2 and a half star rating.» But then I ate here, lol. I’ve been to so many panda’s and the food quality has always been consistent. the only thing that ever varies is the thickness of the sweet and sour sauce. This was my first experience where something was really off. It was the chow mein. It had a terrible burnt taste to it and was inedible. I brought this to the attention of the manager. He was nice about it and offered me a fresh order(I wasn’t interested), but it turns out I guess there is some residue that needs to be scraped out of the bottom of the pan and some was left behind, or something like that.(I envisioned the black gooey stuff they scrape up off of a mongolian bbq cooking station. gross.) Anyhow, to me this is a definite sign that this location isn’t as concerned with standards as other locations may be. and like everyone else has mentioned; the parking sucks.

Some pandas are better than others. This was an excellent one. Open late on Saturday night last night. They cooked up a fresh batch of shitake kale chicken which was hot and delicious. The wait was not long at all. Several customers came in after ordering things that they cooked up in the spot. Food was good service good and also the convenience as we were buying a vehicle near by. I have eaten there once before for lunch and it was good panda fare. Healthier and fresh at ten thirty at night. Good experience.

Me and my girlfriend always come to this place when we’re bored and hungry. A great place to eat if you’re not close to your house. Starbucks is right next to it, so that’s a plus. Not a great parking place though.

Longtime fan of Panda, first stop at this location. Okay, yes, parking here sucks. I got here about 6PM and the lot was full, but there was plenty of parking behind the vacant store next door. There was also street parking by the Ford dealership, so I’m not one to complain about having to walk an extra 50 feet. Food was fresh, hot and plentiful in the trays. Nobody offered a sample, which was a bummer, but not a huge deal since I’m intimately aware of Panda’s menu. They did give us two fortune cookies even though wife and I were just splitting one plate. Place was clean, service was prompt and friendly, after reading the other reviews, I must have lucked out because I thought this was a fine Panda.

Stopped by this place for some lunch while in the area. Dining area is spacious and food is your normal Panda Express. No issues with staff at this location. Parking as mentioned previously, is horrible as it’s next to nil. If you’re lucky to get a parking spot, jump for joy.
