I have to say after chef Daniel left, this place has started going back to a run of the mill hospital café. Sad. I hope they turn it around again.

Some days I can be a bit absent– minded. Today was one of those days. I left my lunch at home. I didn’t want to do a sit down restaurant and I did not want fast food. Unilocal guided me here. This is a small café with 6 tables. It features deli sandwiches, salads and breakfast sandwiches. Today they had a special of teriyaki or bulgogi beef over rice. I went with grilled chicken salad. The chicken is store bought and not grilled and could use some seasoning. They are generous with the butter lettuce and you will get some tomato, carrot, cucumber and shredded cheddar. Also you will get half a hard boiled egg. This is not fancy but it will do the trick. $ 7.00 seemed fair.

Careful you’ll miss it! It’s a small café located in a building that looks like nothing but office suites, but the café is open to the public. They make amazing sandwiches that are reasonably priced: Club Special $ 5.75, Reuben $ 6.00, Grilled Cheese $ 3.75, the list goes on and on. Everything from breakfast sandwiches and different salads, this little place is great and nice change for lunch in this area. An area with nothing but fast food joints, a fresh homemade sandwich can’t be beat.
