The past reviews seem very unbalanced on the spectrum. But decided to give it a try since Phở Ha closed and I haven’t been able to find another phở place that’s up to the Phở Ha quality(and I seriously have been try everywhere). Here it goes: Phở ga — very good, but could be better. It was a bit to the bland side. But the broth is clean and fresh tasting. Phở dac biet — extremely satisfying. It’s unlike any other phở dac biet I’ve had anywhere. The broth is clearer, but still had a stronger beef flavor. I think it’s probably closer to how the homemade phở dac biet is(although I’m not Vietnamese, so I can’t say phở sure). I noticed some other reviews mentioned that the broth is oily and that made it unappetizing. I have agree and strongly disagree. The broth for both phở ga and phở dac biet did have oil on top, but that’s FLAVOR! And it keeps the broth steamy hot all the way till the end. Shrimp and grilled pork spring roll — one of the freshest and most flavorful I’ve ever had. Raw beef salad — very very good.

came here to eat with my daughter for the first time and ordered phở and chicken fried rice. phở came our pretty fast and when i looked at it the broth was really and i mean reeealllly OILY looking it had no taste to it at all. ususally when i go eat phở at other places the broth is already good as it is and doesnt need all the sauce in there but this phở broth taste straight up like hot water with oil in it eeewwww i know! so now the chicken fried rice came out! yay my daughter loves chicken fried rice but why is there a crap load of black pepper on top of the rice? and there was no vegi? so basically its just chicken, garlic, egg, rice and ofcourse topped with so much black pepper. my daughter gets rashes if she eats anything with garlic. i asked the guy who served me why is there no veggi in the rice and so much black pepper? how is my daughter going to eat this? my daughter is two years old by the way. so i didnt touch the fried rice and took a couple bites of the noodle only. went up to the register to pay and he charged me for the fried rice even though i told him i didnt want it no more and that i didnt touch it at all. he said i can pack it to go. now why would i pack that to go? so i can throw it away at home? he ended up taking it off my bill so i just paid for the noodles. I WOULDNEVEREATHEREAGAINANDWOULDNOTRECOMENDEATINGHEREATALL! WORSTPHORESTAURANTINSACRAMENTO!

Not the best phở to eat. Went there for dinner last night. The waitress was no pleasant or attentive. The phở broth was not clear but cloudy and kind of sour. The meat was tough n has too much fat. On our way home, middle son threw up n the older son complained of stomach pain. Would not recommend. Go somewhere else for phở!

I went here because of the Unilocal Reviews, I love trying out all the new Vietnamese places and hoping I can get blown away. I ordered my favorite Bun Bo Hue, I only ate about 1⁄3 of it and could not finish it. I was disappointed that the noodles was thin and not thick like the traditional way. The broth was cloudy and did not have that lemongrass aroma, and there was no banana cabbage that came with the meal. My friend ordered their Pork Chops and broken rice, He was not impressed as well.

Good food and pretty cheap compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. This place has changed its name and owners so many times already but this the first time I write a review for it! I’ve always been curious how the food has changed and their specialties. I came here with my mother and was surprised with the explosion of flavors in our mouths. The food was really good and close to how we remembered it should be. Must give this place a try, a bang for your buck!

I came here because of Unilocal reviews. This unassuming newly opened restaurant was half full with 100% Vietnamese customers. The food here is cheaper than other places. The phở is only $ 5 to $ 6 a bowl. Although I enjoyed my phở, I felt it was fairly salty. I will be back to try their rice dishes at a later date. Note: Phở 999 probably has more flat screen TVs than any other Vietnamese restaurants. It’s a good thing most female Vietnamese singers in the music video were hot looking.

The food here is awesome and its super cheap! I really like the noodle and rice dishes they have there. The deep fried fish is super good too! Would definitely recommend people trying this place out!

So how many times does this place have to close down and re-open with a new name? Well supposedly this one is bought out by a new owner. Food: So i got the hu tieu nam vang, sliced beef, liver, poached shrimp, garlic etc. I didn’t really like the noodles, felt overcooked imo, was breaking on the chopsticks. Not bad really, if it weren’t for the noodles. On the other note, my family members didn’t really like what they got, but to be fair whenever I go out with them, it’s always complaints about how they could do it better. Service: Surprisingly the cute waitress spoke vietnamese very fluently unlike other establishments. Whats even more surprising is that she dealt with my rude family in a professional laid back chill manner. I’d probably be back for happy hour. 2 dollars before 7:00pm.
