The cashier at this location provides excellent customer service. She is always very friendly, smiling and happy to take your order. She makes visits at this location pleasant every time!

Not authentic anything. .maybe authentic fake food. Lol I would of been better off with McDonald’s

FAVORITE! There is nothing like some authentic mexican food on the fast. The hot salsa is probably the hottest I’ve ever had and I will definitely be a frequent eater. Definitely try Jimboy’s at least one and then make you’re judgement, it may appear to be a whole in the wall but the food is amazing!

Best tacos ever… can’t beat the parm crusted taco shell. Good service and clean lobby. Im taking off one star because parking can be tricky sometimes and the prices are pretty high. I do feel like you get a good amount for your money, but still its so pricy. I got two of their big tacos and a side of rice and beans and it was like $ 13.

I went here today planning to enjoy some awesome tacos and leave a great review, but unfortunately the food sucked today. Most of the time the food is great, but sometimes it is too greasy to consume. today’s tacos were so greasy that I could see my reflection in the tortilla =(

This place is good, not an authentic Mexican place but i still like it. The people working there are nice, friendly, the place is clean, the food is good. The prices are reasonable. I come here often. Waiting time 5 – 10 minutes. Good for a quick bite.

This place is a conundrum. The food is really good. It is cooked to order right in front of you. But the prices are very high and not proportional to the food you get. I enjoyed the food. But $ 6.59 for a burrito and $ 3.59 for a taco when you can go to Taco Bell and get the same thing for less than half price just is not reasonable. This was the first time I had been there in a year. I remember why I hadn’t gone there for that long so I think it will be at least that long before I go back.

Worst jimboys EVER. First the cashier didn’t speak English. Then they messed up on my order and when I asked them to fix it, they messed it up again. Also all other jimboys put Parmesan on the taco shell, this one doesn’t. Chicken was dry and tasted old.

Pretty much the best chain Mexican food place in Sacramento. Love how they dust the taco shells with parmasian cheese. Not much parking so get there early. To go is the best way to order.

This review is not about food but the rudeness of workers. It’s my fourth visit here as it is close to my home, the cashiers are terribly rude, seems angry and never say thank you! And they never communicate anything with their mouth!

Terrible service… Both workers had poor attitude, the décor was plain, the lights weren’t matching and they got the order wrong… A customer said «please tell everyone about your special because people don’t know about it «the lady nodded her head and proceeded to fail once again… Also no napkins out for dine in customers… Just an all around depressing scene.

I have to post a review bc I live nearby & will stop in every so often for a taco fix!
First off the two ladies (not sure if they are franchise owners or simply the only two employees) are ALWAYS there, & I have received nothing but fantastic service from them. (maybe it doesn’t hurt that I always try to tip a few bucks;)but I think they deserve it!
They recently added some paint on the walls & different lighting & it looks really nice in there! Before it was very very plain, yet always clean !!! I inquired about the redecorate & the lady who is always on the register seemed flattered that I noticed! I think it adds flair:)
The food is well… it’s Jimboys! Lol! I ask for the tacos extra crispy otherwise it can be a soggy mess, the bean & cheese flautas that are on the value deal are quite tasty! I’m weird & I like the fries :)
Overall I feel like the prices are a little steep, 9 $ for two tacos & a drink?! (I get chicken or steak) but they have a great 50^th year anniversary deal; 5 $ for two beef tacos, drink & chips n salsa:))))

I love their tacos here but I subtracted 3 stars because of the service. The woman who takes the order always gets it wrong. Every time I’ve been here I make her read it back to me and some how once it’s made its still wrong. And when I go back to try to talk to her about it she prints up the receipt and just reads it to me. I added 2 stars back because she always ends up fixing the order. The food is great but it’s always a frustrating process to get it right.

Great service every time we go! The ladies are always friendly and the food is always great!

My original thought was to round down and give it a 3, but as I sit here extremely satiated by the tacos I just ate… I bumped it up.
I got steak and chicken tacos. Pretty standard — meat, tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and I think my steak had onions, but they asked if it was alright. They’re really simple crunchy tacos and honestly I didn’t think it was going to be anything special, but it’s a simple and quick meal that is pretty satisfactory.
The half star goes to my real surprise in finding satisfaction with the taco.

I only get to have these tacos twice a year if that when visiting my father in Sacramento and I remember when I was 7 years old putting down 6 tacos and still at the age 35 they are the best tacos in the world. Taco heaven!

My favorite bean n cheese burritos with fresh green salsa. Yum.

We love Jimboy’s Tacos. We go to this one on Arena often because it’s close to our house. The food is good and they are quick. I will say that there have been several times that they have messed up our order BUT they have always made it right. I blame my husband– I keep telling him to check the order before he leaves the store. Lol
So they do mess up orders on occasion but great food… So be sure to check your order before you leave.

I love Jimboys tacos, I was once a previous Jimboys employee at a different location so I know how these tacos are made and what to expect from them.
Lets just say this place has the worst customer service. The young lady at the cashier never communicates with the cook and is always texting behind the counter. I had multiple incidents where I asked for extra crispy and received my tacos regular. The last time I was there I was too tired to send back the tacos and complain, due to multiple similar incidents you would assume they wouldn’t make the same mistake. I figure this mistake was made due to the cashier not doing her job and never engaging with her cook or her customers. It’s always the same two ladies who works there every time I walk in. Not sure if this is a franchise but whatever it is they need better workers! And it’s ok to SMILE and ACKNOWLEDGE your customers sometimes.

The service is good. They are usually very fast in preparing their food and their tacos stay crispy. I get the regular chicken tacos here and like how they have nacho cheese sauce but overall the food is mediocre. It’s good when you need something quick and real and I prefer their food over Taco Bell and del taco. They also have a salsa bar but it’s kinda lacking but again, I really like salsa.
