They have a small selection for fresh veggies right upfront. What could be expected from a small place like this. Cashier seems friendly enough. We worked trough the language barrier. :) Lots of cool new foods to try. I was in and out quickly.

This is my go-to place when I need a quick trip to the grocery store but don’t want to drive all the way to Raley’s or Safeway. They have all the fresh produce you’d need – citrus, potatoes, tomatoes, etc, and great supply of pantry staples, like rice and other grains. The clerk is always super helpful, and the prices are really reasonable. They have a great variety of teas, frozen foods and other treats. Did I mention they have great customer service? I will be back.

Pretty cool little spot off to the side of Natomas. They have a bunch of chocolates and other junk food. Step in sometime and give them a shot, you don’t have to be Indian.

I went to this store to buy some Chapatis. and this particular brand should be in the refrigerated section and not frozen. but they had it in the frozen section. I was in a hurry and bought them. When I went home and happened to look at the expiration date and they were already expired.

We live on the North side of N. Natomas and were so excited when seeing the sign outside the store which states«Indian Grocery Coming Soon». The store is smaller than others around town but we go here to get what we need first due to the good service, and not to mention convenience. It is true that if they do not carry something at the moment, the clerk will order it; but also, they are willing to carry it continually if its something others would like to purchase regularly also. Basically the staff is helpful and accommodating so that makes it a 5-star worthy store.

Who doesn’t love an indian store within walking distance of home that isn’t in the hood. This place has been open for a couple of months now, and I have no complains. Their produce is fresh and reasonably priced. They carry a huge variety of sauces and seasonings. The store is always organized and super CLEAN. There are two employees that work there and they are super helpful. Granted they are new and there are certain things you make go in there looking for that you may not find, but if you aren’t in a hurry ask the owner and he will happily order it for you. They just got a new FREEZER so they have tons of ice cream choices, the kulfi they serve is worth a try :) It’s a nice family owned store, with personalized service. Definitely check this place out!

With a name like Indian Groceries, you can expect what you’ll find inside. It’s a small store, but they have what this humble Unilocaler(how do you say ‘gringo’ in Hindi?) considers to be a good selection of grocery-type foods from India, and one of the employees told me they are still bringing in more items. They have staples like rice, flour, beans, lots of sauces and a good selection of spices. There are fun snacks like cookies and chips to browse, and good dinner items like frozen naan and pakora. And they have incense and a small selection of non-food items. I filled a little basket full of «Ooh, I like those!» and«Hmm, I wonder what this is?» and I’m ready to eat.
