Dollar Tree

The floors were covered in toys and the entire store was crowded with boxes.
Maybe Saturday afternoon isn’t the time to unload a shipment.
The drug deal we witnessed by the people loitering in the trash filled parking lot was a special treat.

Met Jeremiah last night and it was a huge blessing. He has a HUGE heart for people. Very encouraging experience at the Dollar Tree. Looking forward to visiting this location more often.

I’m really disappointed about my last visit. Typically, Dollar Trees open at 8 AM. I knew this one opened at that time so I arrived a few minutes early, waiting for the doors to open. There were a few items I needed to pick up for work, and I was already going to work late, so I was in a bit of a rush.
Unfortunately, the employee who was supposed to open the store did not arrive until after 8:15am. I was already there, so I stayed, there were no other Dollar Tree options nearby.
I truly hope this was a one-​time deal because this is absolutely no way to run a business.
If it weren’t for my other visits, I would have rated this store one star, but the other times I have been a patron (mind you, they were in the afternoon, well after the store opened) I have had no issues and the check out process was fine.

What a great Dollar Tree!
It’s easy to find, right off Watt Avenue and much bigger than a regular Dollar Tree. It’s a super Dollar Tree!
We were greeted by an employee as we entered, he was very friendly, as was everyone working. Great customer service!
The store is really well organized, clean and has a bigger selection than other dollar stores. We found everything we were looking for and more. They had a big Halloween section… all sorts of cheap décor.
The line went quickly even though there was only one register open and it was an overall pleasant experience. We will definitely be returning.

On the hunt for halloween knick knacks and where do people go for good deals! The dollar stores of course right, HMMMMMMMMM
As my beautiful woman and myself make our way to the store we’re talking about what we hope to find there that’s going to go with what we chose to wear for the event at hand. HALLOWEEN… Muahahahahaha
We make it to the store and start loking for the halloween isle, to our surprise there’s hardly anything there but we still search and search, the store is very christmassy though. we come across a couple wine glasses that will go great with our outfits so we pick’em up as they will go with our look along with a couple other things that didn’t make the list but we thought they would make it as well.
We then come across these little feathered creatures and we pick one up, its a BABY OWL, we look through a few more to check them out and determine which one will make the trip home. My woman picks up this one that looks like he’s been in a fight with several ferrell cats and has somehow survived and lives to tell the tale, well we figure it’s a HE and he now has a very disgruntled look on his face with feathers going in every direction and the beak is off to the side just a bit that just makes him look so badass and we both fall in love with him. He’s the one we will take home so we say, well we’re done here so let’s BOUNCE.
We make our way to the register and do my eyes deceive me? are you kidding me? is this really the line to pay or is there a buffett happening here and we missed the memo? WOW nope, no buffett here. The line is about ten people long and no help at the register as there’s only ONE yes one cashier there and she’s continually calling for more to open but no one hears her cries for help.
FINALLY another register opens up and the line shortens and is now moving, still slow but not as bad. Time to pay and we ask the cashier lady if she can please place BADASS in his own bag so he won’t get more messed up than he already is hahahaha, the lady just smiles and humors us and so we take off.
As for the rest of the things we were looking for, well we will just have to make it in to another store. Maybe we need to go to a HALLOWEEN specialty store, so expensive though but oh well it’s not like we do this all the time right! ONCE a year people and it’s for a good cause.
And that cause is to have FUN and fun we shall have. so the hunt continues for some needed accessories.
All in all because of the poor selection here at this DOLLAR STORE and the lack of opened registers and the time it took to actually open another one I will have to give it a solid 2 stars.
Well this particular store has more christmas decorations than HALLOWEEN bummer.
