Just a bad review for TOM the owner. The store at watt n auburn is horrible except for 2 employees. I have seen one of the males verbally attack a pregnant woman on two separate occasions. They are soo so rude. No customer service. They lock the doors over night. Because he is scared. He will just sit there. He won’t open them unless the line is long outside or if we yell at him letting him now it’s a law not to lock doors during business hours. They sell ciggarretts, and booze to under age kids… seen it video of it on file. Don’t know how to fix anything. If something breaks they let it stay that way for to long. Not to mention all the money they loose. Just from me 12 dollars a day just alone if the soda machine is down n I shopped there ever day n night. Doesn’t seem like very good business skills, or owner skills… come on TOM please clean up this store and employees. Wow there propane tank was just robbed of everything and they didn’t see or here a thing… WOW I heard it, and I live being the building. Again stupid scared employees. There no way they didn’t here nor see anything.stupid.afaine COMEONTOM!!!¡!!!

One lone Star for this location. Here’s why: No maintenance or upkeep of the property especially the outdoors kiosks which take or should be able to take your money and or ATM card allowing you; the paying consumer to exchange money for a service/commodity. Busted. Stone cold busted. As in they either do not work entirely or they work intermittently and hit it miss but most of the time they do not function. Customer service by the owners and their family members is insulting as regardless of how many times spanning nearly two years now that countless paying customers voice their concerns, dissatisfaction and frustration at the ill functioning or dead paying machines out at the pumps they look at you blankly and completely disregard what they already know and choose not to pay to repair. By doing this it forces gas-paying-seekers-of-fuel to go inside the cramped stuffed-so full-of overpriced convenience food and overall junk store and form a line from hell which stretches down the aisles and out the front door since there’s no way to pay for the fuel but inside; every single visit. Know how I know it’s not just me who’s disgusted? I stand in line like an idiot with the other consumers and swap disgruntled war stories of this same repetitive action with them as we impatiently wait our turn at the registers inside. I actually do feel bad for the actual employees manning this dive as they hear the same complaints all day long about the results of the cheap owners lack of putting profits back into the damn machines that make buying and«self-servicing» the number one commodity that consumers frequent this place for: Gasoline, a pain in the ass. It’s actually a good thing I waited over 20 months to write this review after first beginning shopping here on a weekly basis which has since slowed to every 3 months as the subpar customer service, inconsideration and over all slap-in-the-face gift from the owners is at least consistent even if it is disgusting. Who cares if the gas is cheap in price if it takes you 20 times longer than it should to pump and pay for the stuff. I’m done shopping here and like this trip which only occurred due to poor planning on behalf of myself; I only have myself to blame if I wind up back here. You Sirs Suck.

I don’t care that it’s cheaper around the area what I care about is being able to get the gas. Thus again, I’m kicking myself in the vagina and cursing myself for even stopping here I should have drove a little more down to Chevron. Today I used pump 6 and inserted my first $ 20 bill. After the first bill, it wouldn’t allow me to insert any more bills. So I thought I’ll pump $ 20 worth of gas then go back and pump another $ 20. Nope! The machine didn’t register that I had inserted the money. Preet, the young Indian gal came out questioning me if I put money in. I’m like yes I did. She punches a few keys on the pin pad and walks away, saying nothing. Then the older Indian lady comes out asking me again if I put money. Now a bystander who was trying to use the machine after me told her, «I seen her put money and I even tried using it and it’s not working». Then she tells me to pump the gas and not to put anymore money in the machine. I’m so done with Arco!

This is hands down the cheapest gas station for miles. Whenever my car is in need of a fill up, I try to wait until I will be passing by this station to fill up. Currently gas is $ 3.65 a gallon which is pretty good considering its the summer and gas stations right up the street are charging $ 3.85 or more. This location has about 12 pumps and a small mini mart though I have never been inside… I try not to hang around too long. I had to take off a star because this gas station is located in the straight up HOOD. Every single morning while driving to work and passing by this gas station there are always hookers, homeless and shady people everywhere. Literally everywhere. So in short, this place has great prices on gas because you have to chance your life by stopping. I’m super cheap, so I stop by on the reg.

The gas station does have a good price on fuel, but sometimes its just not worth the wait. When ever I go through here, it get crowded in the early morning to mid afternoon. Everyone time I’ll see a tug a war with getting a pump or putting air in there tires. I hate it when people that leave there car there after they have finished pumping gas, and the your either stuck waiting there or have to move to another pump. Always look out for pedestrians, yes that means… Homeless, prostitutes, students and bicycles. I know I’ll see that every time I’m pulling in or pulling out. I always give myself time to slow down for the gas station, so I don’t have anyone sneaking up in my bumper and getting into an accident. Occasionally I stop by here for some air for the tires or snacks, but only when the time is right. Other then that, there pretty friendly people.

The positive aspects: prices, it’s on a traffic-light controlled corner for ease of in/out, and if you dare… there are snacks inside. The minus… cars enter from both directions and there’s lots of confusion and congestion.

From all the Arco’s around here this one is the cheapest around. Today is November the 9th and the gas is $ 3.29 a gal. Hell yeah I’m filling up the tank. Now isn’t it amazing that $ 3.29 makes people say«hell yeah» when we all know that it’s actually outrageous at how the gas prices have risen in such a short time! Well it’s not as bad as when it was all the way up to almost $ 5 and even $ 5 and change at other locations. But I’m not going to go there, I’m just glad prices are going down and yes I will drive the extra 1.4 miles to fill it up, hey it’s worth the short distance and the 2 minute drive from home or rather right off work then home. Any time I can save some moolah the place will get 5 stars, and I don’t even have to deal with going inside for anything, unless I need to use the air hose to fill the tires up because they need to turn on the compressor so you can use it, and the water as well. Short review but it’s a fiver for me.
