The place is beautiful and very clean. The service… not so much. Took forever to get my food when there were only about 4 other parties in the place. Waitress looked and acted like she does not belong in customer service. Not once did she check on me. I had to wait about 10 minutes for her to walk by to deliver someone else’s drinks to wave her down. When I did, she looked at me from across the room and asked if I needed something… and then stood there staring at me waiting for me to yell out what I needed? Yes bitch, you forgot my French toast and a little syrup or jelly would be nice with my cold ass food. By the time I got my French toast the rest of my meal was gone. Needless to say, I did not leave a tip.

We had breakfast here this morning and it was great. Our server was Cynthia L and she is on the ball. She was right here when we needed coffee and to make sure everything was ok. Then she was right here to pick up our dishes when we were finished. This place is very busy too. The manager is really doing his job too. I like this Dennys. we have been here before and will come back again.

I don’t typically write a review for restaurant chains, but I’m compelled to do so based on my family’s experience. We’re not from the area, but this was our pitstop during our road trip. We did not get to eat here, because the wait to be seated was long. During the wait, we noticed a family waiting to pay their bill at the front counter and other families waiting to be seated. We also noticed that the restaurant was only half full and customers seated, about 2/3rds of them did not have food on the table. There were only 3 visible staff and one of them was yelling at the other two: complaining about another staff on the phone and shouting/directing the others to tell customers that everything was going to be a 45 minute wait. Once that was said, we walked out and went to another restaurant. The waitress yelling at others and complaining turned us off. Poor service and attitude that would not pass in any industry on any level. Seems poorly managed facility.

It is absolutely no surprises me that this Denny’s got two stars. While I generally don’t do reviews on large chains like Denny’s, that basically speak for themselves, I thought this one was almost necessary. Not only did all of the servers literally act like they couldn’t have cared less about helping me, they forgot the toast with my lumberjack slam. When I came back to get my sourdough, they gave me cold toasted white bread. So not only did they forget my order, they also gave me the wrong kind of bread. I asked for my eggs with runny yolk, & I made it very clear that that was important. What did I get? I got eggs that were completely cooked solid through, not one drop of yolk to be seen. The hash browns were not crisp at all, they were very soggy as a matter of fact and barely browned at all. The French toast that came on the side was pretty good, but that was about it. I will likely not be going back.

They are not familiar or have not been trained on preparing items on the menu. This location does not prepare items like other Denny’s. There was ice in root beer float. I have never had root floats served with ice. I ordered a meal that other Denny’s always provided sliced beef. The same order at this location I received tiny shreds of beef(no larger than size of bacon bits). There was barely any beef at all. If they did not have beef to make dish, they should have said they were out and to make different selection.

We stopped in tonight for breakfast as the kids were craving an «upside down» day. Since we usually go to ihop we thought we would give Denny’s a try as we have never been to this location. We got seated quickly by the manager but then waited nearly 10 minutes for the server to actually acknowledge us and let us know she would be right back… another 10 minutes later we finally got to order. Mind you, the restaurant was empty– possibly 4 other tables if that. When our food finally arrived it was mediocre– the kids loved theirs but my French toast was lukewarm and the hash browns were dripping in oil. After 90 minutes we finally got to leave… and will never return. Learn from our mishap and don’t bother. I will say, our server was very friendly and looked to be doing the best she could. The manager who originally sat us was no where to be found.

Went here Saturday with my family for breakfast. Only 3 servers available. Restaurant was busy, they seated us and never came back for service. 2 ladies behind us got up and left after saying they have been waiting an hour before getting their food. another family got up and walked out after waiting a long time we decided to do the same which lead to several other families leaving. Hire more staff or close down.

The second star is for the first time my family and I went here. Forgot the server’s name, but she was great. She had a sleeve on one of her arms, dark hair, service was great. Second visit was ridiculous. Went here after the State Fair. Not busy at all, just two other tables there. Was«greeted» by one of the servers. Can’t stand when people are in customer service and try too hard to act ghetto and have no customer service skills. Was seated at around midnight. Greeted by our server(not the wannabe) shortly after. She got us our drinks and we waited for more than 30 minutes for service. Didn’t see our server until she rang up the table next to us. We saw the other server here and there, but only when he was BSing with the cooks in the back. Terrible. We just left.

This by far, is the WORST Denny’s I’ve ever stepped foot in. The waitress(Claire) was bumbling around from table to table while our food sat up under the lights, waiting to be served. The cook kept ringing the bell, but this girl was like a lost lamb. 45 minutes of waiting, she finally brings our food to the table, cold and unappealing. We refused it, and asked her to send it back, explaining that we literally watched our food sit for over 10 minutes before she went to retrieve it. Another 8 minutes goes by and she comes back to our table to offer us crackers while we wait for our food. We were insulted and disgusted, so we literally walked out. I do not recommend this establishment to anyone and will never step foot in there again.

Horrible, there was a group of 6 of us that came in after watching Kevin Heart… I guess they had only 1 cook and 2 servers working. I would think that they would be more papered for big crowds… Let’s just say we sat there for 20min and didn’t even get offered water so we left. I will NOT be coming back at all

Total incompetence. Lazy employees who absolutely do not give a shit about the crappy job they are doing. I left after the lazy shits up front couldn’t bother to seat me. She did, however, seat her buddy who had been in line BEHIND me. I think it was an affirmative action program. .. whites wait while others get seated. And, how long does it take to seat someone at a diner? Apparently a very long time. Because it involves a lot of standing around and talking and not working. Avoid this affirmative action Denny’s. In fact, avoid this entire area.

Avoid this place if you can. Sunday at noon. Staff looked really confused as to where to sit us for some reason and not attentive at all when seated. The place wasn’t even busy. Sat there just watching them avoid you as much as possible. Walked out and headed to IHOP instead. IHOP was really busy I wonder why. Haha.

Ridiculous! I hate when staff cannot keep their personal quarrels from customers! As soon as we arrive a hostess was preparing a table for my party to sit. Here comes another server who insists we just sit in her section. The hostess found herself apologizing to another server that our server intercepted. I told my group we should have just sat where we were originally offered. Our server then stated the reason why she had us sit with us is bc the hostess was seating ppl out of order. You know u could care less what their issues are. If I wanted drama I could go to it. I eat out so I have no worries but to eat n relax! Whoever is the manager they need the high school drama out of here! So now I’m not in a good mood! Our server is attempting to over compensate by being extremely nice. Instead she should apologize for the incident. The food was received within 10 minutes. I know I won’t step back in here ever again! Denny’s has been going down the drain for years for their slow service and now this! Yeah NOTHANKS!!! As we leave I couldn’t help but notice the section we were going to originally be seated is empty compared to our section! Kid games amongst adults ruined my experience!

Well, this marks my first ever 2 star review! We went in at 9pm on a Wednesday evening. We had just picked my sister’s family from the airport! The kids had not eaten any solid foods since about 7 hours prior. They were all hungry! When we walked in, we were the only party there at that time! There were a few cooks, a bus boy and a lady working behind the counter. From the get-go the lady behind the counter looked like she had better places to be! It took nearly 10 – 15 minutes to get our first round of drinks! I could have walked behind the counter and gotten all of our drinks one by one quicker than that! The food came out next; The«Golden Hash browns» were missing the Gold! They were white as day! The kids didn’t drink hardly any of their chocolate milk! I tried the chocolate milk myself and it was lacking… chocolate!(See pictures.) My T-bone steak and eggs was $ 14.99… I asked for medium rare and I think they heard medium Raw. I still ate some of it, as I was super starving! That was a mistake! My Unilocal reviews are usually pretty positive, but I am struggling to find something positive to say here. They had a nice game room. The place was pretty clean looking inside. Other than that the food and service left you wanting more!

I keep trying this place every couple months…(3rd time). EVERYTIME the service is WAYTOOSLOW! The silverware is dirty, just had to get up to get my drinks refilled, and the thermostat is set at 65(it’s 45 outside now) and my wife is freezing. People behind me just got their food and the guy ordered a mushroom burger, and while setting they’re food down on the table the waitress just told him they’re out of mushrooms. WTF? Kinda sad when the Denny’s in the ghetto is better than in Natomas… We won’t be back again…

I was pleasantly surprised with their sirloin! I got the 8 oz sirloin dinner, they had zucchini and yellow squash available for a side! That’s always a plus(confessions of a squash addict) Yes, I gotta agree, the service needs to be worked on. I forgave them, because it was 5am on the morning of New Years day. The place was packed with drunks and there were only 2 servers, but they were working really hard. I didn’t get a refill on my drink so i’m taking off one star, however I will definitely be back for the steak, i couldn’t believe how perfectly it was cooked. Check them out if you have some time/patience.

Being that I’m actually a fan of Denny’s, I hold them to certain standard; unfortunately, this location didn’t live up to it. I understand that it’s Denny’s, not a white table cloth type of place; therefore it shouldn’t be hard to hit that minimum standard… at least one would think. Here were the pros and cons of my experience: Pros: it’s Denny’s and the organization provides convenience(I ate at a Denny’s once in San Jose for Christmas… they were open and welcomed my looser-self being that I didn’t have anywhere else to go). For that, they’ll always get at least 2 stars from me. Sorry, that’s it for the Pros… Cons: — the wait was long and unnecessary. They had plenty of seats, but are obviously understaffed. — our food took a very long time, and when it finally came we had no silverware. It seriously took 5 minutes for someone to get us silverware… would’ve gotten it ourselves, but I was actually curious to see how long it would take them… bad idea. — table was dirty and sticky when we sat down. Waitress claimed she whipped it before we were seated, and made an obvious BS lie that the finger prints looking at us were permanent stains… my sacrificed dinner napkin would object her hypothesis. — the place was dirty… just dirty. Crumbs everywhere, kids running around, ghetto crowd, and the staff’s attitude just screamed«I don’t give a damn». Sorry Denny’s of Natomas… you’re my first 2 star ever, and I will never step foot into your zoo again. Good luck with that mess…

I have a love hate relationship with this Dennys. Hate: Depending on the server you get, the service can be great or horrible… two extremes. Love: The food for me has always been consistently ok. Hey, it’s diner food at reasonable prices. Plus, I have never gotten any gruff from using coupons here. However, this Sunday I didn’t experience the love. It was not a great dining experience. I will not be coming back in the near future. My bacon slices were skimpy small and thin(think McDonald’s size); I don’t recall the bacon being this tiny before. Plus our server was a sweet gal but an awful waitress. She gave me coffee in a dirty cup. I pointed this out and got new coffee and said she would be back with silverware. She didn’t come back, I had to ask another server. She said she would be back with coffee refills too… never did. All the other servers were awesome, I saw them give silverware to the guests as they were seated or while drink orders were taken. They gave coffee refills. We were so jealous.
