We loved the Fire House Inn! We stayed in the Fire House Suite in October 2015. It was spacious and very charming! An interesting fact, the closet used to be the municipal vault. The interior of the building is beautiful and full of history. We were very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. A visit to the Firehouse Inn is definitely worth the short drive off the main path of any trip.
Rutherfordton is a cute town!

Wow! This inn is just wonderful… my room (no. 3) was beautifully decorated and most comfortable! The staff is absolutely awesome and made me feel just like I was «at home». Breakfast in the dining area was very tasty and always had pastries, drinks, etc. available. Will definitely stay @ the inn any time I am visiting in the area.

We have stayed here a couple of times and I am always happy with my stay. We have stayed in the firehouse suite and it feels like a 5 star hotel! Jacuzzi tub, King bed with $ 600 Italian sheets that feel like smooth silk, walk in closet, gas fireplace– just amazing! The staff that works/​runs the inn are extremely pleasant to work with. The breakfast that is prepared every morning is delicious. They also have free wifi throughout that works great. Hands down this is THE place to stay in the area!
