Nice relaxing seating area to relax or work. Nice touch, the barista asked if we wanted whipped cream on the milkshake our daughter ordered.

Cute place –a little on the small side– basically ice cream and coffee (which I could probably live on by themselves if pressed). Did not know that Hershey’s made ice cream=this is the brand they serve. It’s pretty good. I’d rate it in line with Breyer’s quality. Everyone was friendy. Great location, right across from the KIdsenses children’s museum. Very fair prices = 2 cones with sprinkles for around $ 5.

We stop here EVERY time we drive from Atlanta to Beech Mountain. We insist on this route so that we can take a break at this ice cream shop. Rutherfordton is such a charming town with a lovely, historic main street, and this ice cream shop is a real treat. They have fabulous flavors, coffees, etc and the folks working here are always super friendly. I know every shop lets you have tastes these days, but they are so enthusiastic about it here that you really don’t feel bad tasting and finding exactly what you want. I love the cappucino ice cream! Every one in the family has different favorites here.
There’s also a cute area of used books and videos for sale, and right next door there is a charming consignment shop… that I wish were open every time I stop by…
