Tonite 8:30pm, at Valley View, off 60 fwy in Riverside,
this Busy DENNY’s, was, DEFINITELY a HIT!
Our party of 4, seated Quickly;
Our server GENESIS was great,
she took our orders, refilled water and coffee;
Food seem to come quickly!
ALL orders: correct,
ALL FOOD: Fresh, Hot and Tasty!
Our Server Genesis was attentive; checked in 3times!
So, Yep, I definitely recommend,

This restaurant took forever to give us our food!!! It took about one hour I will never come back!

Slooooow! I think 1 star is being too generous for this place. Host did even seat us, someone from the kitchen staff pointed to a booth for us sit, then after 40 minutes we still hadn’t ordered are food so we left and the host had the nerve to have an attitude.

had the most god awful dinner here. was a birthday dinner with and my grandkids and what a disappointment. used to love to go there but will now never ever go back or take my grandkids. the food was terrible, portions sucked and the prices didn’t support the horrible flavor.

Great food and service most of the time. Sometimes it can be hectic because it could get busy during unusual hours. So it can get slow at times. Just make sure you know what you want and order quickly, it may take a while. But weekends when it really is busy. It’s somewhat normal compared to other Dennys restaurants. It could be better. I rate average. Sometimes 1 star. Also, the bathrooms are always nasty. I mean, they can clean it but the modeling is done cheap and not of quality. Washing your hands might make you feel dirtier

Customer service was really bad, waiters didn’t come and ask you for refills, waited 30 to 40 minutes for food, drinks came 15 min. After ordered, food was at least good. If your in this area I recommend going to the one in eastvale service there is great and the food there has more flavor. Don’t recommend this Denny’s

HORRIBLE… HORRIBLE…HORRIBLE…Went to eat at this Denny’s last night and it was not enough workers, waitress’s, food was burnt, bathrooms were horrible and since when does a bus boy that just mopped the floor ask do you want a beverage? Wth!!!
The manager was of Asian decent she was at a table where they complained of burnt food !!! (asked whats wrong, customers stated food was burnt) manager did nothing… This Dennys needs a upgrade or new management. I have lived in Fontana for over 10years and I visit this Denny’s often but I will never visit again I will eat at the Denny’s in Fontana
Riverside should be a shame of this Denny’s.
Food was horrible and the service and cleanliness was even more horrible

We come here after church, and enjoy Denny’s. This morning, I cant figure out if it’s a software issue, or a cook issue, but we had a problem. We all (table of 5) ordered, and when they brought the food, they told me they were out of the item I ordered.
When you bring the food to the table is not when you tell the customer you are out of the item they ordered. We told Marilu, our friendly server, and the cook never told her they were out of that item.
Everyone else was pleased, I came home and cooked what I wanted myself. Either the cook or the software needs to be corrected to send a message at the time of order that the menu item is not available,

Service was so so. Never received a refill on our tea. Pancakes came out well after our other food. The women’s bathroom was disgusting!

Wow! was I impressed with the quality of food they now serve. I know that their food is not known for its freshness since they receive all their menu items from other food vendors prepackaged preportioned and frozen. they then pull one serving out and reheat it and serve.
That being said who ever is supplying them with their food is cooking up some delicious entrees. They were always known for their cheap breakfasts but now they are serving great food all day long. Its fairly fast, very easy, excellent tasting food and pretty much under $ 30 for 2. This is what I like. This particular Denny’s is one of the oldest and smallest ones I’ve ever been in but the service is friendly, a little under staffed and a little slow some times but I still like the old place.

The worst experience I have ever had at a Dennys. Food was so greasy it also took way to long when the place was empty. The waiter was so out of it, he didn’t even really know the menu. Our cups were empty for a while and NO ONE even bother to ask if we wanted a refill. What top it off for us was how we witness the waitress and hostess just stand by the cash register and gossip while we sat there and waited for service !! We were the table that was right by the entrance and right in front of them… terrible experience.

What an incredible difference in service since the nightmare we experienced some time ago. But, thanks to a responsible hard working shift leader by the name of Daniel… things are much better now. This restaurant was lacking good leadership on the evening shift, when Daniel took the reins, it was a welcome change and a definite benefit for the customers and their business. The service is much quicker and friendly than it has ever been and the food is good. It goes to show that the right people can make a world of difference in the success of a restaurant.

Food is good but some of the servers and the management is crap my server Itzel was insultingly rude after I asked for a cleaner plate but food is good

I occasionally come here with my mom. Service has always been excellent and I feel right at home when I come here for breakfast.

Every time I come here the staff is rude and very slow. I wait at least 20 minutes to be seated and the who know how long until we get a waiter to take a drink order. It never looks clean. They are always mopping with black dirty water that stinks. If you’re not careful they will leave your food sitting waiting to be served to you and if you tell them it’s been there to long they just don’t care. I’ve had them throw my entire order of food back in the fryer and send it out as if it was new.

Dec 23 ’14 a quick stop w my family. As we look over the menu my family notices a homeless outside. We decide To buy his meal. As my husband orders for him he notices the manger Itzels expression of disgust. Itzels expression is joined by our server Miguel. After giving the man his meal we notice both chatting about the situation still w the same expression. It’s unfortunate a good n honest gesture is met with such negativity. My family walked out. Only clicked one star bc site REQUESTS a star selection

Worst experience. Hostess sat us and we waited for ever, waiters and waitresses would look at us but no one ever acknowledged us. There was hardly any customers there. No one ever came to take a drink order. We waited and eventually walked out. No one cared. I told the hostess why we were leaving and she could not care less. Recommendation? I recommend you DO NOT go there. This happened Saturday 12÷13÷14 at between 12:30 — 1:00 pm.

Worst Denny’s ever. Came in for lunch with a friend, unfortunately we were shoved into a small table in the corner because I counted 7 tables filled with empty plates and trash. Took 20 mins for 1 of the 5 waitresses to take our order. Our entire meal the tables remained dirty.
Food was good but had to hunt our waitress down for a box and the check. …

I’m not ashamed to admit this: despite our love for great and new foods, my friends and I are Denny’s regulars. I can’t count how many times we debated where to go on Saturday night just to hang out & have a long talk at Denny’s at the end. We would somehow end up at Denny’s at least once in road trips even though we knew Unilocal could show us better eateries in the area. Idk when our love for Denny’s started, but it happened. O_​o
We also happened to be a big group, so we understand if it takes a bit longer to set up a long, The-​Last-​Supper-​style table for us, but this particular location made us wait almost 30 mins, when they actually set the table up in under 5 mins. Not sure what the server is doing for the other 25 mins, seeing there were only 3 booth tables filled with people when we came. And it’s not like they’re understaffed either.
I ordered a build-​your-​own skillet and decided to FILL OUT the build-​your-​own CARD, because I figured its easier to just give the server a card with list of ingredients I want, rather than telling the server the ingredients one by one because she’s already confused enough taking orders for 10 people. I just wanted 5 things in my skillet: chicken fried steak, peppers and onions, hashbrown, chipotle sauce, and mushrooms.
Yet they still got my order WRONG.
Forget chipotle sauce. I got the usual gravy instead. Those mushrooms? None. And instead of hashbrowns, I got seasoned fries smothered with even more gravy. In different occasion, I love their seasoned fries. But really, who eats them in their skillet? And with gravy. really?
I was too hungry to even send back the food, and since the kitchen service was pretty slow too I’d probably get my food long after my other friends finished eating. So I just ate the wrong order.
We’ve been to other Denny’s and while their food is not the greatest, the service has always been good. This one seems to have bad management. Avoid this place if you can.
