The sandwich was ok, nothing special also, I did not enjoy the cook and the owner/manager arguing. Won’t come back here again.

This place could have a lot of potential if the owners would consider remodeling it. Its right in the middle of a busy downtown area where lots of business people have meetings and lunch. The place is cute and typical for a café, but the food could be better. I’ve gotten to know the staff, so I’ll give it a 5 because they are nice and care about the service they give.

Had a burger and fries. The burger patty wasn’t anything special — just a frozen patty. Fries were decent. Food was ready fast and the décor was nice.

Ever since the new ownership, the restaurant has gone under some improvements such as new carpeting, paints, new items on the menu, better customer service, etc. Christine, the new manager/co-owner, is working the front and is super friendly! Make sure to say hi to her! If you visit the restaurant a couple of times, she’ll remember you! I tried their breakfast burrito(fabulous and filling), chicken teriyaki(the bomb), fries(*droooool*), and waffles(new item, moist and fluffy). I can’t wait try their new kimchi rice. All of their menu items are under $ 10! Can’t beat the price! Btw, I try to avoid the rush hour 12 – 1:30 for better service and some peace & quiet. Ha!

i have to start off by saying i really miss the old owners. i’ve been a loyal customer for almost 10 years and now i’ve decided not to return after today. here are my reasons: 1) they jacked up the prices!!! 2) they really jacked up the prices!!!(raised everything pretty much by at least $ 2 or more 3) they jacked up my order 4) they decided to close earlier 5) they changed the debit/credit card minimum from $ 0 to $ 6.50 with that said, their only saving grace is that they kept the same cook. we still love pablo! =)

I always come here to eat breakfast or lunch since its walking distance from where I work. The owner is a very nice guy who always welcomes everyone to his restaurant. The décor and feel of the place is definitely like a mom and pop shop. I was a little turned off by the smell but that was easily compensated by their great food and service. The food here always hits the spot. You’re bound to find something filling for a cheap price. I usually get the burgers w/fries for $ 7 flat or a breakfast burrito in the morning $ 5 both with extra ranch. Overall the food is pretty good and consistent for the many times I’ve eaten here. Great for office lunches. Be sure to call in to place orders if you want food fast to-go.

This is a hole in the wall place owned by a family. I’ve been coming here for 14 years and I’ve always left feeling satisfied. The quality of food they serve is superb and EVERYTHING is so delicious. Some of my absolute favorites are the breakfast burrito, Chinese chicken salad, vegetarian sandwich, and their turkey sandwich. The owners always remember my drink order(medium iced tea with two lemons). They just started the Tomato Bisque and it is absolutely divine! Definitely check this place out, you’ll become a regular.

This place is an adorable little shop with a «grandma’s house» charm to it. The food is good, depending on what you get. The ABC burger is delish but if you get anything on the«diet» part of the menu it’s basically cheap sandwich meat and a cluster of odd sides. But other than that it’s affordable and good for the most part.

Great Stop To Grab Breakfast Burrito SITREP On occasion I find myself in Riverside to conduct a training academy at our Regional Office located on Main Street. The Eatery is right on the way. THESETUP I can only take so many EggMcMuffins or Jack’s Croissants and so the Eatery provides a very welcome option to get a nice size breakfast burrito(I get the ones with sausage) for just about $ 4. They come wrapped nicely so I can just let it sit on the passenger seat in it’s little bag til I get to the parking garage. [They are really cool about providing some fresh salsa in little plastic containers.] THELOWDOWN A most excellent breakfast burrito option! [I have always wanted to try their lunch options too, but never make it back their way once I have the car parked in the garage — then I stay more local within walking distance(a few blocks) for lunch.]

First of all, I am a sucker for cute little out-of-the-way spots like this… so I was intrigued and wanted to go in. After scoping out a paper menu in the car(which I made my husband go in and get – and a little recon never hurts), my family and I decided to give it a try. My husband and I ordered the teriyaki chicken plate, which includes rice and salad(recommended by our waitress). My husband also got an eggroll. My daughter ordered a cold roast beef sandwich and fries. It was all very good. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful –she recommended their homemade ranch dressing – YUM! I’m giving this restaurant 4 stars because everything comes together here: cozy vibe, friendliness of the staff, good food, good service, and reasonable prices. Next time we are in Riverside, we want to stop in for breakfast. It’s like the other reviewers say… this place is tucked away in downtown Riverside… blink and you’ll miss it. So, look carefully… you don’t want to miss it!

Just returned to my office from a long trip in the desert; I was starving and I had limited time. I went to my favorite fast food eatery. As usual, I was cheerfully greeted and asked if I wanted a beverage. The waitress ran off and returned quickly with a cool drink. Without wasting time I ordered a Teriyaki Chicken plate and received my piping hot meal in the equal amount of time. Once again the meal was tasty and satisfying. I was able to handle my lunch break in 30-minutes. This place is the BEST!

Came here a couple times for meetings for work. It’s a cute little place(décor looks like that of an old woman’s house) that’s really easy to miss on 9th St. If it weren’t walking distance from my work I’d probably drive by it like 3 or 4 times before I realized where it was. It’s right across the street from the post office. I’ve only been here for breakfast and gotta say that they have pretty decent deals on their breakfast menu. I got a short stack of pancakes, two eggs and two bacons for $ 4.65. Let me say the short stack might have been only two pancakes, but they were pretty huge. I ate half my meal during our meeting and saved the other half for lunch. The pancakes weren’t especially delicious(I’m partial to IHOP), but they sure did hit the spot for this preggo.

I work near Ninth but am never on this section, so I forget about 9th St Eatery for a year at a time, it seems. The last time I was here I ordered a fish burger, which was a breaded fish fillet on a hamburger bun. I don’t think it’s possible for that menu option to ever be more than three-stars anywhere, but theirs was fine and the fries that came with it were good. It’s nice to have an inexpensive restaurant with waiter-service to balance out the zillions of stand-to-order sandwich shops downtown, but the few times I’ve come I’ve always felt it was pretty much passable but never anything where I’d bring out of town guests to for lunch or anything like that. The people are nice and it’s a good option that I should remember more often. You should go.

Paul’s place! This is a charming little restaurant hidden in the downtown area and specifically caters to two groups of people: 1. cops and 2. business suits. I am neither but my friend and I rode past one day and decided to check it out. I had a vegetarian sandwich and fries. Decent. The fries were pretty delicious, very crispy. The sandwich was OK. My friend got the fish burger because he is weird. I like this place though!

The owner here(Paul?) is so nice– and the service is really fast and efficient. Our office moved here around the corner a couple of months ago and I think I eat here about twice a week. I haven’t had their breakfast yet, but they have a nice lunch menu w/reasonable prices. 9th Street serves anywhere from cheeseburgers and fries to teriyaki plates and salads.(I think that the salads might be mediocre, but i’m not a salad fan). I am eating their chicken teriyaki plate– a generous amount of marinated chicken thigh meat over white rice and served w/salad. You can get it w/an egg roll too. YUM. I’ve had their cheeseburger combo– such a deal, comes w/a drink and fries for about $ 5.50. Nice local place to dine in, and the servers keep everything clean. Definitely support the local businesses that are worth supporting! I hope this place stays in business!
