Welp, it ain’t Brooklyn, but it’s the only place I have had a hero that even remotely felt like home. The pizza isn’t very New York, but I suppose I will eventually have to accept that this is Boston… for Boston pizza, it’s pretty damn good(no, I haven’t been to the North End yet). I order the caesar salad for lunches we cater at work and it’s always a huge hit! Thank you Good Eats, the fact that the best heros around are a block away from my job makes me feel a little less homesick. Now, where can I find a good rainbow cookie?

We ordered the house special pizza, large was defiantly large but that made for a great cold pizza snack later on. Only reason I didn’t give the extra star was because I found the pizza a bit oily. But that’s just me. –Brad

Best slice I’ve had in Boston so far. I’m an NYC native and the style was classic New York. I ordered a slice and a soda, sat on one of the stools and ate up. Must have spent a whole 10 minutes there. The guys were nice and easy he pizza was good. I’m a happy camper.

I have eaten here and really enjoyed it in the past, this time though our pizza was flat. There was hardly any sauce and the rest of our apps were cold, and normally our food when delivered has been good. disappointed…

Good service and fast delivery, but the food was pretty bad. The only good thing I can say about the steak and cheese is that the meat is very moist and doesn’t have any of those bits of gristle in it. Beyond that, it was way over-seasoned which is probably the only thing that did it in. But it definitely ruined the taste. It’s a shame too because the texture of the meat was decent, it seemed fresh enough, and the roll was good and fresh. The pizza was just plain lousy. I’m not sure exactly how to qualify this, but I just didn’t like the taste. Of course I am maybe not like most people in that I tend to like greek style pizza that is pan cooked with an oily flaky crust and generally fairly greasy. This wasn’t even really an Italian style alternative. I’m not sure what it was, kind of like a simple American cheese, sauce and bread combo that lacked any muster. The pepperoni tasted a little strange too. I probably won’t order from here again, but wish them the best as they treated me just fine other than not wowing me with their food.

Yo, this place is dank. I had the steak & cheese sub, and dude… if you order a large, it’s a big ass sandwich. My friend Evan said it was the best steak & cheese he ever had, I told him that was the hype but it was still a high quality, well prepared steak & cheese. After ordering though, I had some regrets because they had all of these great deals on the walls which I didn’t read, such as, 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and a canned soda for $ 5.50… dang thats a deal. Whatever though, I stand by my steak & cheese because it was daank.

The ceasar salad is AWESOME! Best I have had at any take out place in the back bay or south end. It is huge, has fresh pita bread with it, the chicken is fresh and the dressing is amazing.

The kind of Chicken Caesar salad dreams are made of. The croutons are made with garlic cheesy bread, freshly grilled chicken on top, plenty of Parmesan, dressing so delicious I want to eat it with a spoon. Huge huge portions. And, they give you a nice warm pita on the side. Can’t beat that. Sure, the exterior is sketchy, and it’s really cramped inside(call ahead for pick up). But all in all, it’s the best chicken Caesar salad around. I’ve heard the other food is delicious as well, but I can’t pull away from this salad, i try to but it always draws me back in.

I was craving a burger and Good Eats was right behind where I worked so I decided to grab a burger and fries. Onions, mushrooms, tomato and lettuce, add a bit of honey mustard on top, and for some reason it tasted just like a Big Mac. No complaints but quite interesting. Their fries were tasty.

I live right by this place and absolutely love it. Even though it is called«Good Eats Pizza» I usually go for one of their specialty subs. My go to specialty sub is the Buffalo Chicken Mix. If you like buffalo chicken it is definitely for you. Their subs are quite large so you get your money’s worth and are usually full by the end of the sandwich. I also enjoy getting their seasoned fries which are really good too. I have tried their«Dinners» a few times which is usually some kind of a meat along with your choice of rice or fries and garlic bread. It is a lot of food, so once again you get your money’s worth however the meat is often times pretty dry. They need to add some seasoning or sauce to it to really put it over the top. Lastly, their pizza is pretty good, only $ 2 a slice which is reasonable. As you can probably see, this place is well priced and you are usually pretty satisfied by the end of the meal. One tip is to call ahead so you don’t have to wait too long to get your food!

This place has been a go to for me for the last four years of college. I will plan my day around a trip to good eats pizzeria to get my hands on one of their delicious sandwhiches, or, if I’m in a hurry, a slice of pizza. The customer service is very good, the fellas are friendly and accomodating, although I still recommend getting your food to go because it is very small inside. During off peak hours eating inside is fine, but for the lunch rush better to find a park bench. The cheese steak is amazing, and the buffalo chicken sub is hands down the best I have ever had.

This place does get very packed real fast! They’re door seems to have a closing problem. So during the winter, prepare yourself for a cold draft. The workers are nice, and seem like they aren’t chatters, they do there job good. Came here with my mother, ordered a good amount of food. We’re first timers here. Mozzarella sticks are very great! Fries are good if you like em crispy on the outside. I’d rate there food 5 stars but give them only 3 do to small space, makes you feel overwhelmed with how such small amount of people it takes for you not to be able to walk. Take your food to go!

Love Good Eats! Their pizza is tasty and thin crust like the kind i’m used to from home(NY) and a cheap price. Their Honey BBQ wings are soooo good, chicken ceasar salad is AMAZING(garlic bread as croutons! BESTIDEAEVER), and they’re cheeseburger deluxe sub is fatteningly delicious(although I would have preferred a lil less special sauce). Fries are ok, they were better in the past(they had like a double fried coating that was soo good) but i think they stopped doing that so now they’re just reg fries. Bc they’re like a 3 min walk from my apt this year they’ve become my new guilty pleasure smh lol. Look forward to trying more of their menu items. 4 stars instead of 5 bc every time I go there I find myself standing there waiting for them to acknowledge me for a minute or two(even when I say something), so that’s kinda annoying. But overall they are nice guys(some of them nice to look at ;) lol) that make cheap, tasty food.

Ordered Take Out Pizza from here… ONCE. FOOD: The pizza was hard, dry and under cooked. I request«well done,» so the crust is burned, but the cheese is raw. Such is the life of a pizza in Boston.(Why, Lord, Why?!?) THEDEAL: The quality was what I expect… from a delivery place… who doesn’t care if I call again. I’ll continue to look for a better option.

If you live a few minutes from here and you’re kind of pressed for time before going out, go to and check out their huge menu. Most subs take about 15 minutes(they actually cook real meat) so I’d suggest calling ahead. You can’t go wrong with most of the subs here. Highlights include Cheeseburger Deluxe, Grilled Sausage Peppers and Onions, and Steak Bomb(cheapest and best tasting IMHO). Pizza is okay. Texas Toothpicks aren’t spicy as advertised, but do have a good flavor. Definitely a step-up in quality from Kennedy’s across the street. Order for pick-up; this isn’t the place you want to sit down and eat at.

Placed my order with GrubHub today for lunch. Prices were reasonable for the area and items selected, but the wait was what I didn’t like. Granted, the delivery times on GrubHub are estimated. It might be a bit earlier or later, and that’s to be expected with prep times and driving conditions. Well, I called the restaurant at the 15-minute-late mark and was assured the driver had left«a while ago.» The person on the line half-heartedly apologized but said there was nothing he could do about it. Another 15 minutes later and the driver finally arrives with cold food. I ask him what took so long and he just grins and leaves. I have learned after this experience to never pre-pay a tip. The food itself was mediocre. Onion rings are processed, not made of fresh products, and you can really tell. The subs are decent but not the best I’ve ever had. Steak tips are probably the remarkable thing here; if you order one of the specialty subs, always pick this over the chicken options. Also, avoid the teriyaki with broccoli. It may taste good in salads, but it doesn’t work on a roll. Over-all, they have okay food, but the wait time is a bit annoying.

My friend Briguy introduced me to this place three years ago during one of the many nights spent studying for Gross Anatomy exams with our usual study group. Being the cryptically fasetious character he is, he’s been calling this place«Bad Eats» since he moved to Boston. So now I call it that, too. Don’t let this fool you, though. He and everyone else who’s ordered food from«Bad Eats» knows how truly«Good» it is. There really isn’t anything bad about it. Their menu is ridiculously massive, featuring every pizza joint possibility you could dream up(check out the menu pics I posted). I mean, they even have a section titled«Munchies»! That’s what’s up. And if for some reason they don’t have what it is you’re looking for, chances are they’ll make an exception for you. They good people. Their pizza is probably, no, definitely my favorite of any fast(ish) food joint in the area. Cappy’s sucks, NY Pizza’s is too thick and kinda bland, and BHOP’s is nauseatingly greasy. Bad Eats’ is frigging perfection. Their sauce(which they have many varieties of) is so flavorful yet not overwhelming, and they LOAD on the toppings. Meat Lover’s and Chicken Pesto are my faves. And their Chicken Caesar Salad! Ugh! Bellissimo! They make their own dressing, which gains them 8274861 finesse points. Packaged dressing skeeves me out. Yuck. So, I must inform you of one little tidbit. They do this really weird thing with their pita bread. It’s delicious, don’t get me wrong, and it’s always hot. However, um, they wrap the napkins and plastic utensils inside the pita? Yeah, I don’t get it either. Another negative is they don’t have an answering machine, so it’s kinda tough to figure out whether they’re open or closed. Oh well, still a dope spot. Cheap, too. And they deliver!
