I love this place. It’s my favorite chicken place. The crispness never fails to make me go «mmmmmmm :)» my personal favorite is the sweet chicken, my hubby likes their extra crispy one. Their pizza is also very«.mmmmmm» I love sweet potatoes and put it on a pizza. Omg! But every place has its cons of course Corn and cheese is just meh. I wouldn’t get it again They don’t serve beer by the glass only by pitcher. :(

Thanks to yei san jib we got to try this place. In past I kind of hesitate to eat here because I’m really not a pizza guy but I try the bulgogi pizza and it was pretty good and they have other stuff like chicken wings and it’s not bad at all. It’s actually good as or better than Buffalo Wild Wings and they have soju. There were 2 kids working there kind of quite kids it was cool. At least they were not rude like yei san jib I am definitely coming back here.

The wings are super crispy and juicy and the sweet sauce is amazing, especially when you dip the pizza in it… BUT the service is terrible! One person was basically running the entire place and it took about 25 minutes for our order to come out. The server’s English wasn’t that great so she forgot to order one of our dishes from the kitchen and our sweet chicken didn’t come with sauce initially. However, she seemed genuinely apologetic and quickly fixed our order. The daily specials are worth it, but it’s still pretty pricey for pizza and chicken. The one in La Habra is definitely nicer!

This place is great if you’re craving fried chicken and pizza while having a good time. However I don’t recommend dining in because when busy service can be a little slow. I recommend calling in and taking out and enjoying the great food at home.

Always like their original fried chicken. Go for whole, it’s crispy, juicy and tender. Some may think the flavor is too mild. I suggest you to sprinkle some pepper salt on your meat, that’s how their chicken shine. They also have other Korean flavor like hot and spicy, sweet chili, etc, but isn’t great. Pizza is alright. Gold crust is sweet potato filled, a Korean pizza specialty. You can get Pizza Hut if you aren’t a gold crust fans. Keep in mind, service isn’t that attentive here. Oh well, just focus on your chicken then.

I love korean fried chicken! This is the only place I go to when I crave fried chicken or spicy chicken! Their pizzas. delicious! I usually order the fried chicken but when I don’t want to get my hands dirty I order the padak. It has green onions on top of boneless chicken. It’s pretty good! I like to have the one with the sauce! As for the pizza. I like the sweet potato pizza with the gold crust. Since I love sweet potato~ it’s a must for me. They also have the fruit flavored soju that goes well with the chicken! I will always be back for more!

We ordered Pizza and chicken combo #6 for $ 24.98. This was shared by three people. The sweet potato pizza was amazing. They baked the sweet potato into the crust, and also added bites of sweet potato among the cheese. The pizza tasted sweet and savory at the same time! I love the idea of adding sweet potato into pizza, very creative. The popcorn chicken was average. The chicken was tender and juicy, but it was lacking flavor. Also, I was not a big fan of their sauce for the chicken.

All the lower rated reviews that I’ve read about this place seem to be about poor service which I didn’t experience. We came in for lunch and were one of two groups there and the service was great. The waitress was working alone and still did a great job! She came often to check on us and was really friendly. The only thing about coming this early, right after opening, is that there is a long wait for some reason. We ordered right away and had to wait about 30 minutes for some reason. Maybe there was a big Togo order or the fryer wasn’t ready yet. We got the Tuesday special which was the sweet potato pizza w/Golden Crust, whole chicken mild, and a 2L of a soda. Both foods were great as always. I personally like the chicken here much better than BBQ Chicken in Buena Park(been to the Love Letter in Cerritos as well). KoKo Chicken in Buena Park I would say is on the same scale as here. I would definitely recommend this place to fulfill your Korean pizza and chicken cravings!

I love love love their pizzas. Especially the gold crust! If you’ve never tried sweet potato on your pizza, this is a place you have to visit! I crave this pizza all the time, it’s that good! They have a few selections for pizzas, fried chicken, and sides. They serve alcohol and soft drinks. They also have weekly combos for a little bit cheaper. The only two downside to Love Letter is that they have a very small seating area, so expect a wait. They also make everything as you order so things like making a pizza and frying some chicken takes time, also to expect a wait. So. My conclusion is to come with friends, start a chat, and the delicious food that I rave about will be served«shortly». Enjoy!

Super Korean, cozy little restaurant that’s got late hours and reasonable prices! The environment of this restaurant is mediocre at best; there’s bulky looking dividers between tables, possibly in attempt to give customers some privacy, but it detracts from the overall atmosphere. As the restaurant seems pretty worn and is dimly lit, I wasn’t too crazy about it. Customer service was decent. We waited a while before our food came, and had difficulty refilling water and getting napkins. I was surprised because as a place that serves hands-on food such as pizza and wings, I expected more napkins to be available for customers’ convenience. We were told they were a bit short-staffed, so I’d assume that customer service on other days are a bit better. The bulgogi supreme pizza I ordered had interesting toppings, generous amounts of cheese, and good flavor. The bread part of the pizza was a bit lacking, however, as the dough was very limp and I couldn’t hold the slice up without it flopping and things got a bit messy. Crust lovers should also beware; there’s not much of it. The wings were a home run for me. We got mild spicy wings, and the glaze was sweet, tangy, mildly spicy, slightly crispy, party-in-my-mouth goodness. Meat was tender and juicy. Nothing to complain about here! I’m definitely coming back, considering their reasonable prices, friendly waiter, and flexible hours. Portion size was generous too; My friend and I got a large pizza and 12 piece wings and couldn’t finish it. And we’re big eaters! Tip: If you’re not a soda fan, just skip the combo and save yourself a few bucks!

Continually calling, calling, calling… I’ve only been in this restaurant twice but I found that when I want to phone in an order, someone doesn’t usually pick up the first time. It’ll ring and ring and then go to voicemail. I hung up and called back again. When I first called them, I was so confused as to whether or not I was calling the correct number as there was no answer and no indication of it being the voicemail for Love Letter. They have daily combo specials which are a few bucks cheaper than their normal combo specials. Any money saved helps! The funny thing is, the second time I called and wanted to place a phone order for the Tuesday Combo Special, they ran out of cheese! The cheese delivery was delayed and thus they were only selling chicken so I had to wait another week for the Tuesday special. It was well worth the wait! Tuesday Special Gold Crust Sweet Potato Pizza(onion, bell pepper, sweet potato, sausage, corn, pineapple, ham, cheese, white sauce, with crust filled with sweet potato mousse) Whole Chicken(half sweet, half mild) 2-liter Soda(Coke, Diet Coke, or Sprite) I phoned in the order to pick up after an hour as I had a few errands to run. Once I entered the restaurant, I mentioned my order and they were almost finished preparing it. I didn’t mind the wait as it means that it’s fresher as compared to having had the items sit there for however long. I really appreciated that they were able to complete the order by the time stated, even if it was for an hour later. Perfect timing. The size of the pizza was a lot smaller than I had expected. The combo specials are a medium-sized pizza, but it looked more like a small-sized pizza to me. Not sure if one could upgrade the pizza from a medium to a large, with a few extra dollars. But don’t let the size of the pizza fool you, both of us were actually pretty full with a few slices of pizza and pieces of chicken that we actually had leftovers! The pizza ingredients are very finely chopped and evenly distributed throughout the whole pizza, I really enjoyed every bite! We LOVE, love Korean fried chicken! The crispiness of the skin and the sauces! Perfection! Every bite was so flavorful! The(whole) chicken may make someone frown due to some parts of the meat being more dry but we did not have that problem with the chicken here! Flavor and sauce with every bite! My mouth is watering just thinking about the taste! Tip: If you ever had a party, more than 4, I would suggest not coming here. My friends and I had a party of 11, and they mentioned that it would take 2 hours to seat us due to the size of the restaurant, which is very, very small. We ended up going next door to Honey Pig because they could seat us within 15 minutes. Parking is a hit or miss here, depending on time of the day and day of the week because this plaza can get really packed.

This place is a bit hard to find if you were just driving by. Once in side, it’s really small. But very clean. Usually hole in the wall looking joints are a bit out dated and dirty. They have different meals and specials. Differently better if you were to get the specials instead of ordering your food individually. I ordered the special #3 which is bacon bulgogi pizza plus extra crispy whole chicken and came with a 2 liter of soda. ! The pizza was extremely different, but in a good way. I am huge fan of Korean food, so the fused pizza is definitely a new kind of taste. I wish they added more bulgogi to the pizza tho. Overall great taste. The chicken was probably my favorite. It was extremely crispy and the inside was very juicy! The whole chicken is a huge portion. You can probably feed around 3 – 4 people. The meal came out to around 33 dollars. A bit pricy for pizza and chicken, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. Service is great. Really friendly staff.

i love chicken and pizza love letter but every time we go here this employee in the front ignores our presence. it usually takes him a few minutes later to acknowledge us, sluggishly walk us to our table, literally toss the menu at us and then stands there to take our order. we just sat down man! we ordered Coke but didn’t get it till 10 minutes later and we had to ask for ice in our cups. mind you, there were only two other customers there, why does it have to take 10 minutes to get our utensils and drinks? anyhow, for chicken and pizza love letter, I will sacrifice their poor service for the juicy chicken and bulgogi pizza. the chicken is always on point, so crispy and spicy and the pizza is always good. this afternoon though was like night and day. We came in for lunch expecting that unenthusiastic worker guy but that was not the case. we actually wanted to get our food to-go so we didn’t have to deal with his attitude but instead as soon as we walked in, this new employee greeted us, sat us down and gave us a few minutes to decide what to order. we weren’t planning to eat in but this new guy was so nice we thought we’d stay instead. anyhow we got our drinks right away and he even asked us if we wanted radish! that has never happened before. the chicken and pizza came 15 minutes later, they cook them to order. this nice guy checked in on us if everything was ok, blew our minds because we were not expecting such service! I love this new guy and I love chicken and pizza love letter!

I don’t think the owner is ever around. The quality of food varies day to day. Service is getting worse. They have really good food items; I think Love Letter’s pizza is better than Mr. Pizza’s However, it is all about the human factors, i.e., very poor management system and employees who do not care. It would be very sad to see this place go belly up.

This review is probably biased because the trainee spilled a glass of cold water all over my lower body. She was sincerely apologetic but it didnt prevent the feeling of freezing urination on myself. When you look for the restaurant, it’s in Korean so dont bother looking for Love Letter in English, you won’t find it. Staff members stand around and drink on the job and only come over when you wave them down a couple of times. The chicken here was delicious but everything else was mediocre at best. I’d come back only to pick up my chicken as a take out item.

When I first heard of chicken and pizza, I was thinking of buffalo chicken pizza. But it wasn’t. You get to choose the pizza for its toppings and the chicken on how it is prepared. On Mon-Thurs, they have a special which offers a small discount to certain items in the menu. We get the supreme pizza, with extra spicy chicken. And they also give you a 2-L Coke/Sprite. For around 30 for the whole chicken. To me the chicken was delicious enough that I didn’t really consider the pizza. Pizza was alright, thin crust but the chicken stood out more. So juicy and tender and flavorful. I’ve been back here already.

Pizza & chicken. When you hear those things, you don’t really think«Korean food»… but in this day and age, people are getting mighty creative with fusion restaurants, and I’m all about it. Love Letter Pizza & Chicken is not going to be somewhere to go when looking for an authentic Korean food experience… this should be obvious. This restaurant is for adventurers and people who are down to eat any food as long as it’s tasty. The chicken is well done. It’s not perfect, and the wings could have a little more meat, but it’s perfectly crispy, and I ain’t complainin’. If you get a pizza, you NEED to get the sweet potato filled crust. It’s so cool and innovative! Usually the crust of a pizza is dry, topping-less, but with this filling it makes eating the crust enjoyable and flavorful! It also isn’t a cheesy crust, which feels so fattening; this is a fresh sweet potato crust, and it’s refreshing to eat! Minus one star because the bulgogi pizza we ordered literally had no bulgogi on it. I think that the bulgogi is shredded and embedded underneath the cheese or something. Anyways, we asked the waiter, and he said that a lot of customers ask this question, and complain about it. I feel like they should change this item on the menu if they’re getting asked about it constantly. Overall, I had a positive experience and would come back for more!

I LOVE korean fried chicken! This is probably the only legit place around my area. If you love green onions and don’t mind your breath stankin’, get the fried pa-dak! They are generous with the green onion! The price is around $ 13, a bit pricey but the portion is not bad at all. I also get the whole chicken, half fried & half sweet/spicy. Both are yummy and juicy. The price is around $ 18. They bring out the coleslaw like salad dressed with thousand island, corn and sriracha. Also with your meal, they bring out pickled radishes(my fav). Service is MEHHH. They will only come to you if you call them. They don’t smile or anything like that, but they aren’t rude either. They will get you what you need. I’m hungry.

Service is mediocre at best. Not attentive at all, never was checked on once. Literally, they just sat there on their phone or stood there staring and you’d have to flag them down for assistance. Food is okay; the deal for Monday-thursday when you switch out the soda for beer it’s an extreme up charge of $ 13. Like where’s the deal in that? $ 40 for 12 wings, 6 slice personal sized pizza and pitcher of beer. No, it’s not at all as much food as it sounds. Oh, if I didn’t make it clear — service absolutely sucks. Like, he hated his job and was like just throwing shit on the table. He just left the plates and mats in a stack and we set everything up ourselves. like cmon if you hate it that much, quit.

Some friends invited me to this place for dinner, and when I heard it was«Korean style» pizza and chicken, I wasn’t too thrill. Well first I’m not that big on pizza, but I do love chicken/wings. My friend and I shared a whole-size chicken, oh and it’s actually chicken wings, you just get to choose either half-size or whole. The order took awhile to arrive but when it did, it was pretty large! more chicken wings than I had expected which is great. Even better, it tasted GREAT. I was skeptical how ‘Korean chicken’ can taste that different but oh it does, it does. It was crunchy yet tender, and the flavor was balanced all around. I noticed I couldn’t stop munching on it even though I was full as hippos. We got the 2 spicy-star chicken flavor, I think it was call«chilli». Definitely the perfect balance of sweet and spice. Environment was nice, and service was eh, it tends to be in these kind of places, but I will definitely come back for the chickens. Those succulent, juicy, chickens.

Been coming to this place with gf for awhile now. Its one of our fav places to get fried chicken. Decided to try popcorn chicken instead and did not regret! Seriously, the popcorn chicken is practically the same as the regular fried chicken except there are no bones.(#AllMeatHellYes) Recommendation: get the popcorn chicken and ask for sauce on the side.(Prevents the chicken from being overpowered/drenched in sauce and losing crispiness). Sometimes i feel the salt/pepper they give does not do the chicken justice. It just aint the same without dat dipping sauce c:

Come for the chicken. Stay for just the chicken. Since Kyochon disappeared some 5 years ago, Love Letter has been one of the prime Korean chicken wing spots in Rowland. And their wings is pretty on point. The sweet or mild chicken is my general go to. Nicely sauced and can get extra sauce on the side for dipping the chicken — can be key when you bite off the crust and need to add a little extra flavor to the chicken meat. Their pizza is nothing to write home about. The novelty of bulgogi pizza wears off pretty quickly. Like others have said, service leaves a something to be desired. The waiter/host would rather hang out by the greeting desk on his phone than looking out for the customers. Bathroom/general cleanliness can be improved as well. Otherwise, a good spot to get some wings and beer with your friends.

I was looking forward to eating the salad and potato crusted pizza but they did not have any salad and they made us wait what seems like forever for the wrong order. Food was ok but the dingy and rude korean waitress and unattentive waiter who was on his phone the whole time completely ruined my dining experience here. I will never go to this location again!

This was the one of the more interesting spots my husband has found on our many ventures to Southern California. We were on our way to a party and needed to bring fried chicken for Fried Chicken & Champagne dinner. Fancy, I know! We stopped in to pick up our chicken but also picked up a Korean BBQ pizza for an alternative dish. The pizza was not something I was expecting to be as tasty as it was. The flavors worked well on the pizza and it was a crowd pleaser. The chicken was crispy & juicy. Was it the winner of the night among the other fried chickens? Unfortunately, no. But it stood up well and definitely went fast when we put it out.

Service is «eh» at best. It’s always a young Korean guy who looks like he rather be anywhere else but here. And he only ventures to the«dining area» when clearing plates or bringing food, so if you need something, don’t wait there and go to the front instead. I’ve only had various chicken for now, and lemme say that extra crispy is just the same as original, except a tad more expensive. It’s good, though, deliciously fried, and it comes with a salad drizzled in sauce. Personally, I’m not into it, but my bf likes the salad. If you order to-go, they add this a separate container of pickled uh, radishes? Or daikon? It’s white cubes of some vegetable, idfk. Warning: the corn and cheese dish is… weird. It’s extremely goopy and the corn is sweet. It’s a hit and miss, so proceed with caution???

This spot is a good change from Korean BBQ when you have a group of 6 or less, and you want some type of food that is good to share. For $ 30, Love Letter give you enough pizza and fried chicken to feed 3 people. This spot is also good if you’re super Asian like me but want just a dab of Americaness. You get to have these American items but with a twist of Asian flavors. They even give you chopsticks and Siracha if asked for. I don’t really care for pizzas so I won’t be recommending any of them. The sweet & spicy chicken is to die for though, Please do go on right ahead and get. If you disagree with me please call 1800-hotline-bling and file your complaint.

I have been waiting for months to check out this place. It does taste different from your traditional fried chicken. They offer sweet, crispy, spicy, and mild sauce. So many ppl have raved on how good the Korean chicken and pizza is. But although yes it’s prepared with a lot of juice and flavor. My fav is the sweet chicken! The sauce is so awesome and goes really well with the chicken. Sweet Potatoe pizza is a must order! I have to say they make one of the best pizzas. They use white cream sauce which is better than the red sauce. The ingredients are plenty and they spread an even generous layer of cheese!!! I love cheese so it’s a plus for me!!! I think overall it’s good to check out for experience. But after I finished my meal, I felt like all the oil was clogged in my organs. Lol. Don’t get me wrong. This place is still so good. But I can’t have too many pieces before feeling grossed out! I would still come back once in awhile but for health reasons I wouldn’t come back here for awhile.

Definitely got my pizza crave fix here along with many other impulse cravings that followed. For a party of three we ordered a medium pizza, the spicy padak, the super spicy cheese chicken, and the corn cheese. –food– The bulgogi bacon pizza with the royal(cheese stuffed) crust was amazing. It may be because I was hungry but I thoroughly enjoyed it. My only problem was that the crust was not as crispy and the bottom sag. The toppings and the crust was so good though. For the royal it is +$ 3. The medium was $ 10.99 The spicy padak is basically popcorn chicken served with greens on top. Although the chicken was covered in sauce, it still maintained a crisp. $ 12.99 The cheese chicken was good and served on a sizzling skillet. We got the spiciest option and don’t be fooled, the thick red sauce creeps up on you and It makes a good dipping sauce for the pizza. $ 12.99 The corn cheese was good, also served on a skillet and literally just corn with mozzarella cheese. $ 6.99 – First time here and appetizer of cabbage, corn, and thousand island included. Will come back just for pizza. Althiught $ 13 for cheese crust and 6 slices may be much.

CHICKENWANGS + PIZZA= GREATCOMBO However, portions here are just meh. Came here on a random Wednesday night with my housemates after studying for midterms and it was pretty empty. It took the workers a little too long to get us seated which was kind of annoying… We decided to order the special of the day which consisted of the golden potato pizza + whole chicken(half original fried/half sweet&spicy) + 2 liter soda. They give a complimentary corn/cabbage salad with a spicy mayo dressing which was really good. It kind of cleans the heaviness from all the pizza and chicken! They give you refills as well! The best part about this meal was the golden potato pizza because of the sweet potato filled crust. Idk about you but I am in love with the sweet potatas~ LIKEINLOOOOVE. Just the combination of bread + the sweet mousse is just O M FUNGYES!!! But the chicken is honestly just standard. I’ve had better… Overall, this place is good to fulfill late night cravings but, nothing grand slam. The service was meh and the portion is pretty small for the price.
