Cordovan Art School

My son attended a week long art camp. He had a blast. Everyday he just had great things to say about camp. It was worth the money.

My daughter was enrolled in the course for one week where she stayed all day. She had nothing but fun things to say about being there.
They did lots of projects related to different aspects of art and crafts and at the end of her weeks session they had an art show that made everyone smile.
She learned new concepts on layers, colors, textures, and materials. She was artistic before, but the school let her expand on that more than what she already knew.
Seeing her smiles and pride was well worth the value of the classes.

My son has been taking art classes here for about a year. He loves it. Has been able to work on drawing, painting, sculpting. They had an art show for their students and he won a ribbon. Was sooo proud of himself.

The day my daughter announced, «I’m born to be an artist and a veterinarian!» I began looking for ways to encourage both passions. The search for an art class wasn’t as easy as it sounds: she was clear that, at the ripe old age of 7, she wasn’t interested in wasting her time but, rather, was interested ONLY in drawing and in being guided ONLY by someone she liked. We checked out a few places before finding our way to Cordovan at Jerry’s Artarama but upon meeting Rose, I felt we had to give it a chance. We’ve now been attending Jessica’s homeschool drawing class for 3 months and have been absolutely delighted with the experience! The Cordovan staff knows us and seems genuinely interested in us and I couldn’t be more pleased with the impression Jessica has made on my aspiring little artist! I can see her progress each week, she can’t wait for class, and she’s developing a true appreciation for her craft. I strongly recommend Cordovan and look forward to our continued relationship with them!

I wanted to take some art classes and had the good luck of starting out at Cordovan at the Jerry’s Artarama location in Austin. The instructors are great and you meet really nice people with a similar interest and appreciation of art. I can’t recommend the school enough. I wish I had found them sooner!
I really have no innate talent, and it is heartening to know that artistic technique can be learned with practice and good instruction. The whole experience is awesome, really relaxing, as well. I wish I could quit my job and do this all the time!
Ladies Night Out classes are fun, so far I have had one with Rose and she is awesome. I am taking a weekly art class with Debbie, who is so positive and encouraging. John substituted for Debbie one night, and he is a great instructor, as well. Only a month and half into the classes and you should see what people are producing!
I honestly thought I would just try it a month and move to the Round Rock campus/​location, but I don’t want to leave my group and instructor — so I am staying with the Austin location.

We can’t say enough amazing things about Cordovan! They have far exceeded our expectations from their professionalism to their wonderful classes! It’s great to have such an amazing art school tucked away in Round Rock! Keep up the good work Cordovan!!!
