Recommend this place like WHOA! I love their veggie tacos, and their calamari! They also have a sweet potato goat cheese tamale that is killer! Great food, great margaritas! Get there early or NO where to sit !!

A gift card we received for Christmas had us popping in here to try some new things. Since we live so close by we’ve been to a good number of the eateries on Canton Street, but had never attempted INC — we always seemed to come through when it was so busy we couldn’t see past the door. We went on a quieter weeknight. The tables were full, so we settled in at the bar — not the most comfortable one I’ve sat at, but a friendly bartender and some nice drinks soon made it all OK. I’m not the world’s biggest fan of Mexican/Latin food, but one bite of my grilled chicken and bacon taquito starter had me quite smitten with INC. The steak chimichurri was even better — it’s a good sign when my husband wants to try some and I’m carefully measuring out his sample so it doesn’t make a dent in my plate of deliciousness. He had the paella, which he declared the best he’s ever had outside of his native Florida. Nice one, INC! Next time we go I’ll be sure to start with one of their margaritas. I’d already been at the wine and didn’t want to mix the two, so I sipped my husband’s and regretted my wine decision. That’s one tasty margarita. In all: a highly enjoyable and fun experience. Love the theming, too!

This place was fabulous! We went early(6pm) to avoid the typical Roswell waits on a Saturday evening. The front looked full, but there’s a back seating area, as well, which was only partly filled at the time. It’s supposedly«street food» but it’s definitely legit restaurant fare. I went with the waiter-suggested skinny margarita, and it was the best one I’ve ever had. We had the queso(with peppers?) for an app, fish tacos, and steak tacos, and they were all the best we’ve had around here. I can’t wait to go back.

I have never been to this part of Roswell but what a fun place with lots of restaurants within a couple of blocks! Keep in mind, for a nice weather weekend, the waiting lines for places could be over a hour. FOOD: I love the fried hominy as table starters. they’re actually addicting! We started with the Mussels cooked in a garlic white broth, not the usual tomato broth. It still had great flavor but it only comes with 3 pieces of bread. More is needed to soak up the broth. For dinner, I had Fish Tacos with coleslaw, pickled carrots & chipotle crema in flour tortilla. Yum! Since each dish comes with 3 tacos, my friend and I shared. She gave me one of her Seared Ahi Tuna Tacos with jicama, pico de gallo, crispy onions & chipotle crema in corn tortilla. The tuna taco had good flavor but a bit sweet. Great atmosphere, good food, and decent prices! Not a bad combo.

I had zero expectations about INC. It’s a trendier place than my typical choice of restaurant. I was meeting friends for dinner and this was their pick. As it ends up, it was a good choice! I ordered seared tuna tacos. My only complaint was that the fish was over-cooked, even though I stressed to the waitress that I wanted it legitimately seared, practically raw. Nonetheless, the meal was delicious. The tacos were filled with what I believe were beets and jicama. I asked them to leave out crunchy onions, and put the sauce on the side(which I never needed to use.) My plate came with excellent black beans and an average Mexican rice. This is a lively restaurant, with outdoor seating both in front and out back. They have a range of yummy sounding alcoholic drinks. The wait staff is young, and hip. All in all, this is a great addition to Old Canton Street.

INC is the best indoor food truck I’ve ever eaten at! Yup, it’s an indoor food truck. Check out the kitchen and you’ll see they actually built it out as such to maintain the very well executed theme of Latin street food. Food at INC is good, real good for street food. The fish, chicken, paella, sandwiches, and tacos all hit the spot and are refreshingly different than most anything you’ve ever had(unless you’re used to Latin street food). Service is always spot on, clientele a good mix of ages, and bartenders sassy and attentive. It features a tequila bar with great margaritas, but they do have beer and a full bar as well. Great place to eat, drink, and converse on the Canton strip. Also another prime location for people watching on their front patio. Adjacent to Roux, the two offer the best combined patio experience on Canton Street. Like it’s many neighbors, it’s a shotgun style restaurant with tables down one side and a bar down the other. INC also has the privilege of an outdoor patio out back, but the view is that of the back parking lot and dumpsters. Still fun to be outside though!

Loved this place! We’ve never eaten here before and were a bit hesitant but saw that INC., won a Zagat so figured it was good and we were right! Thank goodness because we had my husband’s parents with us and they love trying new restaurants. We started off by ordering the Prince Edwards Island Mussels, which were great! They came on a platter and were plenty for the four of us, the only down fall was that they only provided three slices of bread and we would’ve like more because the juices that the mussels were in was fantastic! The parents were a little conservative, my dad in law had the chicken tacos and said they were great! Mom in law had the same as her son — the pork taco on corn tortillas(al pastor) and those were great! I don’t like al pastor but he’s always trying to convert me and this time I have to say that was one good al pastor taco. I had the fish tacos on corn tortillas estillo baja with a chipotle cream sauce and I have to say in my three years of living here in Atlanta, these were the best fish tacos I’ve had!!! He drank a tecate and I had a sangria which was out of this world over all the presentation was great! Definitely, coming back and having more sangria and tacos!!! I’m giving this 4 stars because it did take a bit to get our food but all in all it was great!

With a few hours to kill between a wedding and the reception in Roswell, GA, we decided to visit what the locals refer to as ‘downtown’ Roswell. This little spot caught the eyes of our thirsty(temperatures of up to 114 degrees) and hungry group, and we paid them a visit. The motto is something like«A food truck wrapped in a restaurant.», and they stick true to it. Funky tacos, bacon wrapped hotdogs, and ceviche are among the menu items. For starters we shared tortilla chips with pineapple salsa. Pretty good stuff, although I felt it was a bit overwhelming on the pineapple part. The chips are made in house and are perfectly flaky and crunchy when you take a bite. We then decided to take a chance on the chili-rubbed skirt steak tacos. Topped with a radish slaw and pickled carrots, these tacos were delightful. To drink, a margarita on the rocks, which was an excellent blend, served up in a cold, authentic INC Street Food mason jar. Tacos and margaritas. Nothing better than that to beat that heatwave. All in all, I had a nice time here. Occasionally a fly passed by our table, which is never fun. Other than that, the service was top notch. Make sure you get the little fried corn kernels when you’re seated. Those things are intense.

INC often made it onto the shortlist for lunch whenever I was working in Roswell, for a myriad of very good reasons. Parking is easy and convenient out back. I have never met an employee of INC that wasn’t in a good mood, warmly welcoming, and happy to see me. Service(at lunchtime, at least), is fast and spot-on. When you go — try to not fill up on whatever those amazing little niblets are which are brought to your table in lieu of bread. They are laced with awesome, but will diminish your enjoyment of the rest of the meal. Love the mini-Mason jars for drinks — really nice touch. Personal choices for appetizers are the calamari(not fried too heavily, and the oil is definitely changed often, so no stale heartburn afterwards) or the guacamole tostadas. Let me clarify — guacamole *with bacon*. This place is run by evil geniuses. The skirt steak skewers and shrimp cakes are good too, but lack bacon, and we all know the force multiplier bacon brings. Cuban sandwich and Sonoran hot dogs(again, bringing the bacon!) are great choices for lunch sandwiches, and the sides of black beans are smooth and creamy. I tend to fall more towards the tacos, though. Indecisiveness is rewarded here, so let your taste buds wander from pork al pastor to the ahi tuna and finish with the crispy shrimp tacos. All 3 will be covered in crema de chipotle. Make sure you grab a window seat, and order yourself another cerveza — as you will now have lost any will to go back to the office. Maybe it’s time for a siesta… a siesta with a smile on your face from a wonderfully full belly.

A while back I had tried INC for the first time during a taste of Atlanta event. I remember that the menu items sounded delicious but I hated the flavors. I avoided the restaurant for the longest time, though I frequent Canton St. on a regular basis. I recently came here on a lunch break from work with a couple of friends. Following other Unilocalers lead I went for some tacos. I was happy to see that there was a sampler option so that you could try different taco types. I ordered the shrimp, mahi mahi and tuna tacos. The shrimp tacos had good flavor. I think if I came back here I would go for a plate of three shrimp tacos alone. The Mahi Mahi taco was good as well. The other ingredients inside were very fresh. Unfortunately the tuna taco was not something I would order again. The way that it was cooked lacked flavor and the taco was virtually falling apart because it was so soggy which made it very hard to eat. I wasn’t able to try a margarita while I was on my lunch break, but Id like to come back and try one. They looked delicious.

Good service. Good food. Street tacos with a gourmet twist. Lots of Southwestern/Mexican flair in the menu selections. I was stuffed from my ahi tacos. Queso was very good. Inventive food at a good price at an energetic restaurant. Great crowd.

Noisy and average service. The field hominy is very salty but interesting. Three of us shared 3 different taco types: seared ahi, chicken tinga, and pork(al pastor). I was disappointed that the food was not delivered like 3 tacos, but like I pile of food on top of 6 tortillas. So it was tough to get a hold of and then very messy and wet. The ahi was very good. If I want pork tacos I’ll go next door to red salt. There they are to die for. If I want steak or chicken tacos I’d go across the street to cevichè… Plus there they have great warm chips and abundant salsa. Unless you want the noise and messy ahi, try the other places on Canton.

I came across this place in a search of a sonoran dog in Atlanta. Went on a Sunday night around 9:30– they close at 10pm so it was pretty empty. I felt bad going in that close to closing with not many people inside but everyone was super nice– service was excellent. We got a couple of drinks and ordered 3 items: Sonoran dog, lamb empanadas and poblano chili relleno. Sonoran dog: Awesome! Will definitely come back for this. For those of you who don’t know– a sonoran dog is a bacon wrapped hot dog with a variety of toppings– here they top it with cucumber coleslaw and chili-lime mayo, black beans and yucca fries on the side(which I’ll get to in a minute) The hot dog was super tasty! How could it not be wrapped in bacon! The texture and flavor of the crunchy bacon with the smoky hot dog was perfect. And I am in L-O-V-E with the yucca fries! Thick cut fries crisp on the outside and tender inside. By far my favorite thing. Served with perfectly matched dipping sauce/aioli. My only complaint would be that you don’t get enough. I would totally come here and just have a plateful. Empanadas: I am not sure if I’ve ever had an «authentic» empanada but I would imagine these would come close. The meat inside was nice and flavorful. The dough tasted homemade. It seems like they must bake and not fry these but I can’t be too certain. The ones I got were slightly too brown like they’d been left in the oven too long. But it didn’t ruin any of the flavors for me. poblano chile relleno: I ordered this dish as an entrée but I think it’s better served as they intended– as an appetizer. It’s a poblano stuffed with chicken served in a dish of queso, homemade chips to dip on the side. The shredded chicken inside had great flavor. I say it’s better as an app because the cheese was a little too much for me. But as an app in doses I think perfect. Overall, I’m super happy with the experience. We spent about $ 45(including tip) on 3 items and two cocktails. Portions are good– I took half my food home. When we asked to pack up the beans the incredibly nice manager/owner(?) — I think he was– brought us out a fresh full container of beans to take with us. I can’t imagine what it’s like on a busy night as it is a bit small but they do have patio space in back and a few tables in front. Love the décor and atmosphere. Will definitely go back to try more things.

Until recently, I’d only had drinks here(GREATMARGARITAS!), so I was excited to try their food. It did not disappoint! Well, I should say we loved our entrees, but the shrimp ceviche special left a lot to be desired. The shrimp was rubbery, it was very lime-y, and it didn’t taste like it was worth $ 10. However, there were tons of shrimp! My husband had their chicken sandwich that had this amazing jam on it that really added a wonderful flavor. It was unique and satisfying. I will probably order it next time. It came was a heaping of potatoes and black beans. For just $ 11? Can’t beat that. I had the pork tacos.(If you can’t decide which taco you want, you can pick three to sample for your meal.) Deeelish! The coleslaw didn’t overpower the pork. And the pork? Flavorful — I could taste the pineapple it was marinated in! It was super tender and there was plenty of it. They don’t skimp on quantity here, that’s for sure. The rice and beans that came with the tacos was delicious. The rice could stand alone as a side — very flavorful. I’ve included some photos — have a looksee. They are a little on the pricey side… but if the food is worth it, I don’t mind. Plus, don’t forget what I said at the beginning — margaritas! Theirs are not to be missed. All kinds of combinations, too. I can’t wait to stuff my face here again. Next time I’m trying the Paella.

Like all historic Roswell restaurants on pretty much any evening, INC is hard to get into. If you’re willing to scrounge around for a parking space and wait 30 minutes to get a table, though, you’ll enjoy some great food. 1st star — options for ambiance. INC gets a star for having a couple of choices for dining ambiance. First, there’s the Canton Street sidewalk tables. These are going to be quaint but noisy, given the patrons waiting outside and constantly going past your table to check on their place in line with the hostess. Then there’s the rather cool looking bar just inside the door, with the bar itself on the right and a long red leather booth seat along a graffiti’d wall opposite. Those who get a table along the wall and don’t luck out on the booth seat — you get the chairs at little 2– and 4-top tables. Seating in here is at a premium, too, but seats at the bar turn over pretty regularly. It is LOUD in here. Your third choice is the dining room past the bar and kitchen pass at the back of the restaurant. In here, it’s dimly lit and a lot quieter than the bar. This is where you want to dine if you’re wiling to forego some of the chic out front for conversation with your friends /date. Finally, there’s the back patio. I wouldn’t dine here unless the weather’s nice. It just seemed like no one was sitting out there, but it was also 95 °F when I went. 2nd star — the service. While I’m waiting out front, after dropping my name off for the 20+ minute wait to get a table, I thought I saw a waitress coming out to call names. I waved her down, as she didn’t appear to have gotten a response, and I thought we’d missed our table. She came over and explained that she was just checking on folks, and she offered to go in and check our name for us. She did this 2 – 3 times and she didn’t have to. I was impressed. I guess her real purpose was to take bar orders from people waiting. Inside the back dining room, our waitress was attentive, answered all the questions about the specials, and kept up with our table like a champ on a busy Saturday night. All the wait staff have satchels in which to carry their bills, orders, straws, etc. For some reason — having a satchel instead of an apron seemed to make them more lithe and responsive in the very narrow spaces of the bar, the kitchen pass and dining areas. Nice idea. 3rd and 4th stars — the food. INC has its regular menu and then a specials menu that covers whatever else they have available. The specials include drinks and appetizers, the special ceviche and tacos, and 1 – 2 other entrees. When I was there, the orders were as follows… Bowl of gaspacho. Cold soup with hominy and some other vegetables. More like a cold(and slightly spicy) vegetable soup. Very good and almost a meal unto itself. Skirt steak skewers. Served over a bed of «Peruvian potatoes,» this was the best food we had all night. Plenty of food to be a meal on its own(maybe with a bowl of that soup), the chimichurri sauce with the skirt steak was awesome and the potatoes were a nice touch. Various combinations of tacos. I ordered the 3-taco buyer’s choice taco platter — seared ahi tuna, carnitas pork, and crispy shrimp. The only other taco variation at the table was the chicken taco. All of them were excellent. My favorite was the seared ahi tuna taco, and, if I’d not had the skirt steak skewers as an appetizer, I’d have gotten a skirt steak taco too. All three taco entrees came with rice and beans — served in neat little metal bowl-ish ramekins. If you ask, they’ll bring double rice in lieu of beans(for me). My only complaint about the tacos — the tastes tended to blend together because each one was covered in a lot of the same taco dressings — lettuce, sauce, etc. You had to dig to get to the«meat» of the issue, so to speak. Total price for dinner with some drinks was about $ 70 — $ 75 for three(3) people. Given the food portions(we took home two [2] tacos and some rice and beans), this was a pretty good deal given the fun we had. Lost 5th star — the hassle to get in. This isn’t INC’s fault. Regardless, I’m going to be insistent that every restaurant in historic Roswell lose a star until something is figured out about parking. There’s too many great places to eat in this little area for there not to be a helluva lot more parking. I don’t think parking would ever solve the wait at any of the historic Roswell dining establishments either. In a the suburban wasteland of dining, several of Roswell’s hippest, happening restaurants have all congregated in this one little area, and the result is diner waiting chaos. Don’t let this last bit fo the review stop you from going to INC. Just plan your visit wisely and leave plenty of time to park, wait(preferably with drinks), and dine. INC won’t disappoint.

I’ve been going to the Historic Roswell area for several years now, usually when I’m making a trip to one of my favorite tea rooms — the Roswell Tea House. I love strolling the main street and popping into shops like the Brass Monkey and the Antiques Mall for fun gift ideas, but I’ve actually never eaten at any of the restaurants there. More than likely because I’m full of scones and tea. Was very happy to discover that the restaurant scene in this area has a new buzz happening, with one of the main contributors being INC Street Food. INC Street Food came to Historic Roswell in early 2010 and their eclectic menu is styled after the market and street fare of Latin America. Brightly decorated walls, hot tempo music and flowing drinks keep the party atmosphere alive, with an actual food truck parked in the center of the restaurant! The servers sport a satchel instead of a typical apron, which is what traditional street vendors wear when selling their wares. But a theme can only take you so far, at the end of the day it’s all about the food and this is where INC really shines! Executive Chef Richard Wilt has a great history with the food scene here in ATL, spending five years at Roswell’s French favorite, Pastis, two years at Seeger’s and a time at Buckhead beloved, Anís. He is also the executive chef at gastropub concept The Salt Factory Pub, which is right next door to INC Street Food. Some of the dishes I tried included the Street Queso, which is incredible, as well as the Gaucho Marinated Strip Steak Skewers with Chimichurri salsa — which were amazing. Something I’ve actually never seen on a menu before that INC Street Food offers is Aguas Frescas, which is basically infused waters that are really popular in Latin America. They have Jamaica(hibiscus), Tamarindo(tamarind spice), Coconut and Watermelon flavor. We ordered a Tamarindo and a Watermelon and both were amazingly refreshing. We went on Wednesday, because at INC Street Food it’s Fiesta Night! The restaurant serves up 5 different styles of Margaritas, with the INC and the Tres Chiles ones being the most popular. Mojitos and Sangria are also offered, as well as a huge selection of regional beers and more than 30 brands of tequila! At 10pm things really get hot, as the DJ spins Latin beats and the dance floor opens up in the back for patrons to practice steamy salsa moves. But don’t forget to save room for dessert, Chef Wilt offers up classic flan as well as a delicious chocolate empanandas. So good. Seriously.

I’ve been to Autentico for lunch a couple of times. As I sit trying to write this review, nothing in particular is coming to mind. As hard as Autentico tries to act as if they’re not trying, it definitely feels overworked. Like how all the servers carry those shoulder bag things to take order and carry the checks. And while I’ve enjoyed the food while eating it, nothing sticks out as particularly crave worthy or memorable. I’d read the reviews the before the first time that I went, so I was expecting the fried hominy, which wasn’t that greasy and was well seasoned. I’m pretty sure that I got the tacos, but what I remember is the rice and beans, so the tacos couldn’t have been that great. I really like the texture of the rice, and the black beans had good flavor. The most recent visit, we sat outside in the sidewalk seating, which was slightly annoying since it’s a busy sidewalk at lunch time as people come and go to all the restaurants and shops on main street. I paid a little more attention this time, since I realized that I’d never written the first review. We got the mixed fries to start — a mixture of yucca and zucchini breaded and served with some kind of white sauce. The dish was well balanced with hot and cold and salty and creamy. For the main, I had the specialty tacos of the day, which were sweet and spicy shrimp with guacamole and radishes on corn tortillas. The tacos were good, and I would order them again, if I can remember. I’d happily go back if someone else suggests it, since I probably won’t remember this place as an option myself. #Yelp365 — 15⁄365

«Like a Shiny Little Toy…» These were the words The Boy used. Literally. «Like a shiny little toy, I’ve been waiting for a chance to open up the present I think this place will be!»(Hey, he’s in sales, give the guy a break, ok??) And, honestly. .. INC delivered. Plus some. We had the best first visit there! Loved the décor, the vibe, the whole«gist» of the place. We went early on Friday night, probably just after five, so we had our choice of seats at the bar and we got to meet and get to know bartender extraordinaire James. Super a) nice b) cool and c) knowledgeable with both food and drink. What more can you ask for from your ‘tender? I hadn’t heard of the place but he had been eyeing it, so to speak, and we both loved the food and drinks we had. Definitely go with the 10 Grand Margarita, and trust your bartenders/servers for their food recs. .. or go with what we had… The steak skewers with chimichurri sauce and Peruvian potato salad(kind of like hash browns with tomatoes and onions mixed in) are absolutely YUM. The poblano with chicken and queso is not only pretty, it’s delicious — a bit spicy for me, but I’m a spice-wimp — and it’s served in a cool little dish with a handle like it came right off the fire. Prices are good, servings are generous, the place and people are just cool — definitely my new fave spot in downtown Roswell! P. S. Those little bowls of hominy they bring out when you sit down — SO good! Try not to eat all of it before any of your food arrives, just a word of advice!
