This was the first Mexican restaurant my husband and I discovered in Roswell. We’re fans! The service is(mostly) pretty good, and the food is delicious. I recommend the beef tacos! They have a great beer and liquor selection, and great daily specials. I wish they took reservations, or at least had call-ahead seating. The space is rather small, and I’m currently pregnant, so I do not appreciate having to wait until we arrive in person to put our name on the wait list. When I’m hungry, I’m HUNGRY.

Really good mexican food in downtown Roswell. Well worth it. The only drawback is that it can be a little loud when it is crowded.

Amazing quality and service. Mallory was a fantastic server, the food was fresh with lots of flavor, very memorable. Guacamole and chips, skinny margarita, fajitas entre — very good !!

This was my first time to canton street. Ceviche didn’t disappoint. I had the chicken fajitas and I got so much chicken! I definitely will have the leftovers for lunch tomorrow! There are beer and shot specials that are a really good deal. 8.50 for a beer and a shot! Our table ordered guacamole and it had big chunks of avocado in it! Everything on the table was amazing and dishes came out fast and fresh! The wait was about 45 min, but you can leave and walk down canton street and ceviche will text you and let you know when your table is ready! The place fills up quick! Don’t miss this place!

It was recommended to me and we had family in from the UK so we thought a Mexican restaurant would be good. The restaurant was dirty — used napkins on the floor and tables sticky. Overall very basic restaurant — OK for lunch maybe if they can find a broom. We then were to learn that they do bingo — yes bingo in a restaurant. Food was average. We won’t be coming back.

This review is for the new downtown Alpharetta location. I first had a sample of this place during the taste of Alpharetta and let me tell you the ceviche was to die for. It was amazingly fresh and crisp. I couldn’t wait for the new location to open. I came here first time hoping for that same experience I had during the taste. Let me first start off with the atmosphere. We were first greeted and seated promptly. Our drinks came out fairly fast. We ordered the ceviche pro: shrimp mahi tilapia, steak chimichanga(queso on the side), arroz mexicano(queso on the side). While waiting for our appetizers I looked around and saw the staff was mainly teenagers. They were playing around with each other which is fine, didn’t bother anyone. Everyone seem to be having a great time. Music was nice, good beat and not too loud but loud enough to hear. The ceviche came out and the shrimp was a little tough. Perhaps a bit over cooked but still tasted very good. The tomatoes and onions had a good hint of lime without being over powering. Why I’m giving it two stars is due to the next two: mahi and tilapia ceviche. It was extremely fishy. I had one bite and that was hard to swallow. You definitely knew it was fish. This was not what I expected from a place that names itself ceviche. I expected this to surpass their entrees. Fish is supposed to be delicate but this was a slap inside my mouth. The entrees came out. My steak chimichanga was good. It was well seasoned. Added some salsa on it and it went from good to excellent. The arroz Mexicano was also a delicious rice dish. Also pleasantly seasoned. Nothing extraordinary stood out. I hope they work on the ceviche and perhaps get thinner chips imo. Definitely a good place if you just want drinks and chill.

Very loud, but cool little place. No waiting area so it can get tight when waiting on a table. But worth the wait, I will return. Got the calamari tacos, good combo. The chicken queso dip was great to.

You can’t beat Taco Tuesday with $ 2 beef or chicken tacos. Hubby had Elsa’s favorite and it’s always yummy. Gorgeous sunny day to sit outside for lunch. Canton St. Is our go to dining spot with so many restaurant options.

Mexican restaurant located in Downtown Roswell on Canton Street. Sidewalk patio was crowded on a mild fall Saturday afternoon and the inside had a good crowd too. Tried the grilled Tilapia Fish Tacos and they were great… the chipotle cream sauce really made it. Saw the enchiladas and they offered both a hot green chile verde option or red sauce. Atmosphere was good with chalkboards showing the daily drink and food specials…$ 3 Tecates and $ 2 tacos on certain days of the week. Authentic feel with chipped painted table and vibrant colors… Would go back.

A nice casual Mexican restaurant on Canton Street. Extremely noisy. You have to almost scream at each other. The $ 5 margarita on Thursday is a great deal and nice. I had tuna tacos and my date had empanadas. Other than the noise it was a fun evening

Fish tacos — the tilapia had the consistency of warm butter The chips and salsa were average Margarita’s — average Shrimp ceviche — wasn’t bad, but wasn’t good … Again average Alesh was a good waiter. Music was awesome The lettuce was more brown than green.

Incredibly bland, American-style Mexican food served by bored, poorly trained servers. The hipster bartender was too busy didling his phone to greet or serve me, his only customer for most of my visit. How can you top an experience like that? How about by grossly overcharging on the bill«Sor-ry!» and then tossing my drink during my brief trip to your messy bathroom? Nice touch. Two stars because I like the looks of the place.

I came here after a hiking trip with a full appetite and was not disappointed. I ordered the chimichanga and a Bloody Mary. I also sampled the ceviche that other people at my table ordered. Everything was delicious and I had a little left over to take home. We told our server we all had voracious appetites and she managed to get our food out really quickly(less than 10 mins). I’m also really picky about Bloody Mary’s and theirs was not bad. I had to special request olives and some heat but they mixed it well. There is a parking lot across the street that is convenient. But I’m not sure if you’re actually allowed to park there.

Absolutely horrible… Had a Paloma with espolon tequila which keep in mind is $ 22 for a bottle. When I received the drinks I noticed it tasted like complete sour mix. Really sweet, grapefruit is supposed to make the drink somewhat bitter. So that was a disappointment. No tequila taste what so ever. Once I received my bill for two Paloma’s I sent it back to make sure I didn’t receive someone else’s bill. Unfortunately I did not… It was $ 30 for two drinks… that weren’t good at all. I won’t be returning. For the place to be so busy I thought it would have been better. Glad I didn’t have food. It could have been a $ 200 bill for overrated Mexican food.

Very good Mexican food! Don’t let the name fool you, it’s not just fish. I had a pork Chimichanga which was absolutely amazing. Their table salsa was some of the best around, much better than most little Mexican restaurants around for sure. Huge portions and a friendly staff made this one a winner. I love the Downtown Roswell area, but it can be a bit of a chore to get in and out and park, and due to the older buildings, it is a bit cramped inside. So if you are not a fan of crowds this may not be your favorite. That is the only thing bad I can even come close to thinking of. Maybe catch it at an off peak time, because the food was great. Will definitely be a regular here.

Gorgeous night in downtown Roswell. While we were waiting for an outside table my wife and daughter went shopping, and me, well I went to the bar. The bartender Matt did a great job and was very engaging. AJ immediately brought over some chips and salsa. When we sat our waiter, Paul, came right over and his service was impeccable as was AJ’s. Food was awesome as were the drinks! Once again thank you Ceviche for some great food, drinks and wonderful service.

Overrated! This place goes to show you location is key. The ambiance is crappy, food is crappy, yet it’s always packed. If you want good Mexican check out La Prilla up in Alpharetta, ten times better and worth the drive!

Came here for lunch on Saturday, place looked empty from the outside but was buzzing inside. There weren’t any tables open but we decided to eat at the bar anyway. Friendly and helpful service from our bartender. She made fantastic margaritas that were not too sweet and not too strong, but strong enough. My wife tried a mojito and loved it. The food was very good. I had the house special which was a ground beef taco and a couple of enchiladas, and it was delicious. My wife had the pork barbacoa, she barely made a dent in the huge portion but said it was great. Perfect place to get lunch in Roswell. Drinks were a highlight here, and would return just for another margarita. Better than many of its overrated neighbors.

Tiny charming divvy ambiance with okay food. Lunched here with a colleague. Positives are the food was fresh and tasty and the service was prompt. The negatives are it was a little pricy for what we got, uncomfortable school chairs and the floor was greasy/slippery. All in all it was okay.

Extremely disappointing. Those are the words that come to mind from my one and only experience here. In the warmer months, I had dinner here late one weekday evening with my girlfriend. We dined on the patio — the Canton St environment is infectious. Our waiter was apathetic from the get-go. He moved slowly despite numerous tables waiting for his return. His slow service was smileless and without charm. I wish this was the only problem. After a lengthy wait, our food arrived. My girlfriend ordered the ceviche(why not, right?) and I ordered the chorizo quesadilla. The ceviche was nothing more than huge chunks of plain white fish soaked in lemon juice with some salt. There were no vegetables or spices. It was the plainest ceviche we’ve ever seen. Considering the dish was the restaurant’s namesake, it was maddening. As if her meal wasn’t bad enough, my «chorizo quesadilla» was abysmal. It was apparent after one bite, that there was no chorizo in the dish. It was ground beef disguised with massive amounts of jalapeño slices and seeds. I enjoy spicy foods, but I couldn’t taste anything beyond the burn after a few bites. It was inedible. Our waiter didn’t seem to notice that we only picked at our meals. He never offered a take-out box and we didn’t ask for any. The drinks were mediocre too, but sad to say, they were probably the best part of the experience. For the price, it was a waste. There is great ceviche and Spanish-inspired food around town if you know where to look(I never like promoting another restaurant in a bad review). This is a must-miss for me.
