I AMSOJEALOUS!!! This is the library to build so that they will come! If I had this library in my neighborhood, cops couldn’t get me out. No lie, it is that incredible. This library was sorely needed in this area,(east of 400) because they did not have one. This library makes up for all those times that this area did not have their own library and had to travel to the other«oh so inadequate» branches. This library was built with beauty in mind and does a wonderful job of incorporating the outdoors by the installation of a wall of windows that run along the sides of the building. These windows provide not only soft serene views but lots of natural lighting perfect for reading and studying. I love the designated areas that shoot off from the main area of the library, the children’s area, the teens’ room and the individual study rooms. I like that the children’s area is not just an area set off to the side, it is a separate structure away from the teens and adults with a bay of computers, a nice reading area and of course books, books and more books. The teen area is on the other side of the building and is fully equipped as well. The library is a great place to obtain information about community related events such as the summer reading programs, reading time for tots, etc. Unlike some of the other libraries, this one is open every day of the week which is great for the community.
