Five Guys Burgers and Fries

Got sick (stomach gas and bloating) and Diaria all night 2÷5÷2016. Believe it was the Bacon on the burger, some of it was charred and some raw (under cooked) probably cross contaminated.

The peanuts here are GREAT. It might sound weird but they were the best part of the meal. They were roasted perfectly, and opening them was a fun activity while I waited for my food.
The customer service was also awesome. The guy taking my order was polite. He could tell it was my first time. He was gentle. He didn’t hold my hand, but I felt he really cared about my burger order.
The fries were on point too. I liked the seasoned fries. I enjoyed them with a gang of ketchup. I suppose ketchup would be bloods? Get it? Oh never mind.
The burger itself was ok. It was a little cold. I suspect it was due to the cold produce on it. It didn’t impress me, and that’s not great considering it was gazillion calories. I mean if I’m going to take the caloric hit, the least you could do is impress my taste buds.
I’d go again, but it wasn’t fantastic.

Burger was ok, not a fan of the fries… but when the guy at the register handed me my drink cup with his fingers INSIDE the cup; I knew I would never come back! I did ask the worker for another cup and told him why, HE was offended! When we walked in he was wiping down tables, picking up left over trash of tables — comes over to take our order and handles money (extremely dirty) then grabs our drinking cup and has is dirty fingers in it !

I ordered a double cheese burger and the burger was gross, the cheese was not even melted I went back to the counter and told them and they said if I want my cheese to be melted tell them in the future. WTH!

Burgers and fries were exceptional! Dining room was uncomfortable though because every table was in the direct sun. This place should invest in some blinds. It was a bit pricey but the food was really good!

Today was my first time trying Five Guys. I am really impressed. The patty was thick, well done, flavorful and juicy. The condiments were a nice addition, and options were plentiful. I also like that it’s wrapped in tinfoil.
I don’t really think it’s comparable to In N Out Burger. In N Out is cheaper and more «fast food» whereas Five Guys is more fast casual restaurant, like Chipotle.
I will definitley be back.

First visit to Five Guys Burgers and Fries, I am very happy and impressed with this place!! First off, a friendly staff, and fun environment. Clean and Tidy! Now for the food, got a large fry, excellent and delicious. Got a Bacon Cheeseburger, Everything you want in a burger, beef was high quality, toppings were just the right amount!!! If you are looking for a burger that makes you happy… THIS IS THE SPOT!!!

The most AMAZING burger and fries you’ll ever eat! Everything is fresh and so delicious! Everything you want in a classic burger joint; fries are think and crispy, burger buns are super soft and toasted, and all the ingredients are real and fresh! Plus, the staff is super friendly and the place was very clean! AWESOME!!! AWESOME!!! AWESOME!!! AWESOME!!!

My family and I tried 5 guys for the 1^st time today. Yes it’s a little expensive but the burgers were fresh with all the great toppings. Loved the big fries hot and delicious with skin on. We will be back

By far I’m not impressed. The burgers are way overpriced. I have tried it twice to give them the benefit of the doubt. But both times it sent me running to the bathroom.

Like everyone BUT the owners the first thing I noticed was how dirty the place is, it even smells dirty! I ordered a #1 combo and asked to add onion rings, I got onion rings and NO fries! Food quality is slipping too… There are SO many other places to get a good burger, these guys are going down for the count if they don’t clean the place up and focus on QUALITY!

As a long time East Coast resident, I brought my love of Five Guys to sunny California. I have visited this location many times, and the burgers and fries are just as delicious as I remembered they were. The staff was super friendly and nice. The minus one star is because the last two times I have been here the place has been really dirty. Tons of peanut shells on the floor, tables needed wiped and trash was overflowing. Not even the addition of milkshakes to the menu curbed my disappointment that this once sparkling burger place needs some attention to the details. Keep the dining room clean or you will lose customers!

Love this place. The burgers are delicious, I also enjoy the seasoned fries. The burgers are a decent sized and they have a lot of toppings. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is clean. They give you free peanuts to munch on while waiting on your burger. The also have grilled cheese, and hotdogs. If looking for a good burger they are the place.

We would agree with other reviews that this place is highly overpriced. Food is greasy, and didn’t care for the fries. But I like crispy fries. When wanting a burger I will take the fresh simplistic more reasonably priced In n out.

Yeah, I had a bad feeling about this place upon walking in and observing all of the «we are so awesome porn posters» hanging on the wall. Hey, how come none of those posters point out how great you are in more recent years?
I have many friends that have pointed out at how great this place is. And to that I say «I wish you weren’t a liar.» :-P
I seriously heard so many great things about this place. After eating our burger and fries, this place felt like a mere step above fast food burgers and a step below In and Out. Worst of all, the value for the money was not there at all. $ 18 paid for two average burgers, large overly salted fries, and two drinks.
When I eat a «gourmet burger» from either a Mom and Pop place like Lou’s or even a chain like In and Out, I expect it to taste superb. It all needs to flow together in a way. For one thing, it was very mushy. Maybe it was the grilled onions and mushrooms or maybe the produce was too wet. Most gourmet places keep the bun toasted and you get a nice crunch. Also, places like In and Out, make certain to melt the cheese and meat together.
As noted before, the fries were overly salty. Each fry had an absurd amount of salt on it. At least in places like In and Out, you can add salt to your taste level. If they weren’t so salty, I think I would have been a fan of them.
And who charges over $ 2 for a soda at a casual dining place? Talk about a business trying to squeeze every last cent out of every typical «Hipster Millennial» they can get their hands on.
I was so disappointed that every fast food place’s «best foot forward» called my name.
I think I’ll save my money and hit up a Mom and Pop, or heck, even Carl’s Jr. across the street.

The best burgers! Can’t get enough! Can’t wait to go back. We usually take it to go and always very good!

Little bacon cheeseburger and little cajun fries never disappoint. I’ve had Five Guys from Ohio to California and they are always consistent. The burgers are always juicy with fresh toppings and the fries always come in a serving fit for two… even the little size!

As a vegan, I usually don’t choose burger places, as my options are basically limited to fries and soda. However, Five Guys has an extensive list of burger toppings for their fries. I ordered a large fry, plus all of their toppings (sans mayo) on the side, with no extra charge! I dumped all the toppings into my fries, mixed them up, and ate it with a fork! It had all the flavors and textures of a juicy, delicious burger. Satisfying and I didn’t feel left out in my group.
They also have good selections for vegetarians right on the menu: Veggie sandwich (bread and vegetables) and veggie sandwich with cheese. I didn’t order it, because I didn’t know the vegan-​status of the bread and I really just wanted awesome fries. I also don’t know if the veggies are grilled on the same top as the meat, for those of you who might be more particular about that.
Staff very accommodating and friendly. Dining area pleasant and clean.

This is my umpteenth visit to Five Guys, yet this is a much more impactful one than the others — in an awesome way.
Over a month ago, we had less than a stellar visit here: They got our party’s orders wrong — all of them. Of course, happenstance would be that we didn’t find out until after we’d got home. I called and spoke with the shift lead at the time, Aaron. He was awesome. He owned their mistake and promised to make good. He took our info and promised next time we came in, we would be taken care of.
Tonight we came in. Aaron wasn’t there, but the awesome guy behind the counter listened to us, acknowledged what had happened, and took charge of our customer experience like a Boss.
This place never fails to be awesome — the food is stellar, but it’s their people that make them epic! Way to go, Five Guys!

Sick! Just found a fried tack in my fries. I called the manaI will never eat there again! We ordered two cheeseburgers and fries. After I finished my burger, i was jazzed about keeping the fries till the end. Second fry, I found a FRIED TACK! It was a disturbing experience, called the manager Tanya, and sent her the photos. Was this an accident? Or was it intentional? I have 3 kids, I could have easily given the cup to the kids. When I called and shared my concern with the manager she seem to get the gravity of the situation as there are no cork boards around. I did not get a call back or a follow through. All in all it was a disgusting experience, as who knows what we are eating, worse, when the owners are aware and there is no follow up.
