Furniture Place

Since my last review, I’ve been referring a lot of friends here to purchase furniture because of the great service I received a couple of years ago when we purchased our house and needed to furnish it. Well, here comes time for my mom to buy a new leather couch set and of course, in a heartbeat, I drove her here expecting to purchase one she’d love. When I walked in, I realized the people have completely changed. The last owners have probably sold this place because the new guy was absolutely horrible. He tried to overcharge us for an item that was clearly tagged with a price. He said the tag was incorrectly placed by one of his other guys. Seriously? Bad business.

Great customer service. No bullshit, no playing games on prices, and got straight to the point. Has been shopping for a marble dining table, and their first asking price is the LOWEST for the same table that we like and saw from other furniture stores!!! Very impressed with their honesty and business model. Highly recommended and will come back for sure for more furniture purchases in the future.

They offered me the beat price I can find on line or in store and very reasonable delivery charge. I will shop again when I need to buy more furniture.

Good price for a «leather» futon, basic $ 180, and free delivery. If paid in cash no tax! I love that!
Good customer service. We asked him for prices listed in the catalog many times cause he had to check the computer, and he didn’t seem annoyed at all.
If I knew this place had good prices i would’ve checked here first before I bought my other furnitures. They had some nice designs I haven’t seen anywhere else.
FYI: they close at 7pm on Sundays

I admit, I was a bit apprehensive about buying furniture from the smaller independent Asian furniture stores. But after seeing the reviews for The Furniture Place, I decided to come take a look.
Tip: if you know the manufacturer/​style of the piece (s) you want, come here to get it for a cheaper price. I saw the coffee table I wanted at Easy Life in Pasadena. The Furniture Place had the same one and I was able to negotiate for a lower price and free delivery.

One of my hobbies is interior design and landscaping. However, because of my expensive taste in furniture and décor, it is really hard to design a place that I love. Fortunately, I live in the San Gabriel Valley where you can find many types of manufactured goods for half the cost at a department store or places in West LA.
Throughout the San Gabriel Valley there are many Furniture stores who obtain their products from China. What I do is shop at various high end furniture shops in West LA and department stores, take the picture and then drop by «The Furniture Place» to see if they can order me the exact sofa, bed, table etc. Most of the time I am able to locate the exact furniture or even ones that are better looking.
The exact white 5 piece couch in West LA costing me 8 grand, I got for 1grand at the Furniture place! Plus, its real leather and custom made! Or I went to a competing Chinese furniture store and they had a modern breakfast set for $ 499, John gave it to me for $ 150! This place will ship your furniture and install it for free! Be sure to tip though. People don’t realize is that most department stores get their goods from China anyway. Why not get it directly from the source?

He is not there everyday so try calling ahead of time. Also, try looking around at other shops and get a price comparison. Furniture stores are known to up their prices 100−300% their original price.

Bought two sofa sets, bed room set, 9 piece dining room set all from these guys. Deliver everything as promised + nice prices. Would recommend them to anyone! Ask for John. If you don’t see any thing you like, I would recommend taking pictures of what you are looking for. They will get the exact piece for you for cheaper.
