What I like about the restaurant is the meal I didn’t even know if you want to order a live lobster or crab you can ask the manager for that; Now that’s crazy. In my perspective the restaurant is casual. I wanted a chow fun meal with shrimp but the waitness told me they ran out of it. She suggested that I should try Wasabi Walnut Prawns and she was right it taste really good. the wasabi cream went throw my nose to burn and was spicy. the decoration of the meal was dope man. yes I would love to come back again for sone Martin Yan favorite dish. I even wanted to try the whole desert meal but I only have my mom with me that night

Ok as asian this place really mediocre. Chicken phở’ chicken was good but soup was too cold. The rice dishes for 10.88 is very small as far as portio. The pork chop is the type that use sauce so it is wet type and flavor like the beef chow fun. I recommend trying the quick/fast food area.

Needed something to take care of a light headache before hitting the casino. Something hot would be the perfect remedy. Randomly chose their won ton soup and it was good enough to deliver what I just needed. It had noodles, Bok Choy, and of course won tons. Their Hong Kong chow mien was reasonably good as well. Convenient to dine without leaving the casino. Service is prompt. Dining area is well maintained.

Yesterday was my first time there with my Mom and a friend. The waitress came over @9:45pm to let us know that they are closing soon and wanted us to pay the bill. After we paid by credit card(over $ 100), my mom said the meat inside her Beijing Dumpling was raw. That’s when I realized that no wonder the dumplings that I ate were so smooth in my mouth when I chewed on it cuz they are RAW. I decided to let our waitress know and she called her manager over. First of all, the female Caucasian manager did not apologize to us for serving us raw dumplings. In fact, she tried to cover up their mistake by telling us that the meat was not raw because they are cooked separately before they are placed inside the dumpling wraps. We are Chinese and we have never heard such BS. We didn’t want to cause a scene so we opt for a refund on this item and complimentary dessert. The manager should have apologized to us right off the back instead of trying to convince us that the meat was not raw. The manager did not refund us the item until I advised the waitress later on. The busboy was in such a rush to take away our dishes and didn’t bother to ask me if I’m fine eating while I still have the pea shoots on my plate. Then the manager came over to have me sign a new revised credit slip(Beijing dumplings removed). If I hadn’t ask for the previous void credit card(signed) transaction copy, she wouldn’t had given it back to me which means that I could be liable for 2 signed transactions. Lastly, I found out later in the night that the restaurant closes at 11pm so why was the waitress rushing us to pay the bill more than an hour before they close. We are truly disappointed by this dining experience.

We went for dinner the same day after our positive early lunch experience. Mistake. The food seemed leftover from lunch and reheated. The scallion pancakes this time were soggy and the Beijing dumplings were lukewarm. The«crispy» roasted chicken tasted like it was rewarmed and it’s skin didn’t live up to its name. The only good thing was the stir fried pea leaves(domiao) which they made to order. Conclusion– go early for the dim sum or don’t go at all, for the best experience.

I came here with my fiancé for the first time on Sunday 10÷25÷15. We got the«Wonton Noodle soup», «Beef Ramen» and«Potstickers». Food: Wonton soup — had four dumplings which was okay, but it didn’t have much flavor… I got it with the Chicken broth because our lovely waitress suggested it(since I hadn’t had it before. She said that I might want to try the chicken broth instead of the fish broth.) I didn’t eat it… I gave it to my fiancé and he ate it for me. Beef Ramen — HOLYCOW!(Pun intended) this stuff in AMAZING! The beef was SO tender — it melts in your mouth. It was FULL of flavor and we couldn’t get enough of it. «Now we don’t have to go to the City to get great Ramen!» ~my Fiancé. I would definitely come back here, JUST for this dish! It comes with the beef noodles, green onions and Bok Choy and the meat is pretty fatty… Potstickers– they were multigrain witch was pretty cool, I however, didn’t like them. They’re heavy on the ginger. My Fiancé liked them though! Service — everyone there was very kind and helpful, especially our waitress, Rica! She was outstanding — loved her! Atmosphere — since it’s located inside the casino it is a bit smoky, but the restaurant is beautiful and the noise level was medium.

Is this whole casino losing its touch or are they just not too invested in customer experience anymore? This restaurant is no exception to that. My black bean spare rib over rice still hasn’t lost its touch but the hurdles to get to it isn’t quite enticing enough now. Trying to get a staff member’s attention to pick up my food turned me into a ticking bomb after receiving the finger every time they turn to me(no, not the middle finger [else sh! ts goin’ down!], the one more minute sign). I don’t blame the staff as it seems like they already have too much on hand. But the management seriously need to reevaluate their needs in hiring more wait staff.

My SO and I came here for my birthday because it was the only restaurant in the Graton Casino that we hadn’t tried yet. We had heard from friends that the food was good, but the portions were small and expensive. Since the birthdays are our only yearly splurge, we went all out and ordered something from practically every section to insure that we would have enough to eat. We were expecting«dim sum» sized portions and were shocked at the huge amount of food that started coming to the table! It was all delicious; not conventional, but exciting flavor combinations and very artistic presentations. We ended up taking *at least* half of every dish home and decided that we could have ordered about a quarter of the number of dishes, been satisfied and spent a reasonable amount of money. Our server(Chris?) was great; very attentive without being intrusive and prompt responses to requests. We ate early on a weekday, so the restaurant was quiet with amazingly little noise from the casino. There are still dishes that we want to try so we will definitely be back soon!

M.Y. Noodles. Originally called M.Y. China, and moved to a corner location within Graton Casino. Basic review — They were okaaaaaaay. Menu for dinner with the fam: — Bang Bang Chicken.($ 8 for 5 pieces) Really tangy, meat not so tasty and cooked. — Soy sauce chow mein($ 10) A bit bland, not so flavorful. — Rib eye($ 22) Decent size chunks of steak, but a bit fatty. Bell peppers gave it a nice zip though. — White Twin Scallop fried rice($ 18) The most expensive rice option on the menu, this dish was also a bit bland. While the scallops were pretty decent chunks with a soft texture, we could barely distinguish the taste. — Shu Mai($ 5 for 4 pieces) What me and my fam thought was the only really decent dish we got here. Service was okay. Our waitress was really nice, but even with only 4 or 5 other parties around us, she didn’t come often after she brought our food. Location was nice — two floors, with a bar in the front and several tables upstairs with a nice view overlooking the casino. For $ 70, this place could have been better, especially for being at a Casino. You’re better off either staying cheap eating at a fast food place here, or going to a nicer restaurant inside Graton.

Will give 4 stars due to taste of food, ease of ordering, and uniqueness. I ordered take out, was made quickly and waiting for me within 15 minutes from the call. Fresh food and hot! Friendly staff. Unique dish! I got the boar w/scissor cut noodles. Super yummy! Definitely recommend. Location is in the far right corner of the casino. Good vibes and well done. Excellent design. Would go again on a date even.

Wow, what a disappointing experience! The spicy green beans were OK, but the tofu in the tofu dish was lukewarm, almost cold, as if they’d simply cut up some cubes and thrown them into the sauce before serving Yuk! Chow mein… waitress warned that they were smaller in size compared to common Chinese restaurant dishes, but wow… they were bland. And they charged $ 4 extra because we wanted more vegetables in the dish – fine if they’d actually put some in… I saw a few pieces of carrot, maybe a few tiny bok choys. I grew up watching Martin Yan’s tv show, always liked him, but I gotta wonder if he’s eaten the food served here… don’t think he’d be happy!

I won gift certificate for this modern Asian restaurant what a lucky find!!! I tried a little of everything at lunch time. Dough is super fresh and the noodles are down right awesome. Seafood dumplings were so fabu with chunks of shrimp, crab and fish !! I could replace potato chips with the Sichuan green beens. Couldn’t stop munching them. Chicken phở was ok broth wasn’t super special but good quality ingredients. I am going to bring friends next time. Pricing was spot on for the care and quality of the chefs creations.

I was Rolling with my Uncle doing the 101 Casino Crawl . We ended up at Graton Casino and after gambling some money away we built up an Appetite . Since my Uncle is a High Roller he bought me Dinner at MY Noodles which is a Martin Yan restaurant . We rolled up to the Hostess and she recognized my Uncle he is a Regular and likes to gamble LOL. She seated us at my Uncles usual table and presented us with Menus to peruse . When our Waiter arrived I ordered a Strawberry Lemonade it was a nice refreshing drink. We ordered the Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup, The Sauteed Baked Pork Chop and The Black Bean Fish Fillet . The Shrimp Won Ton Noodle soup came first . It featured Hand Tossed Noodles. It was a good bowl of soup but the portion was on the small side. Next out was the Pork Chop. It was cooked well and it was tender but it was a small Porkchop. And last but not least was the Black Bean Sauce Fish Fillet . This was very good and packed full of flavor . But again portion sizes seem to run small at M.Y. I might return if Im at the Casino Gambling.

Great quality Chinese food. We came here during not so busy lunch hour and ordered the scollop fried rice, mapo tofu and beef ramen soup. All tasted very good and service was great. Price is on the high side but that is expected. We will be back again to try the dinner.

So I finally got the time to try this spot. I love the décor and ambiance in the restaurant, it’s very comfortable and pretty. I also love that you can see the chefs cooking as orders come in. Obviously everything is made to order which is great! The staff was so very nice. I just wish they were more attentive to drink levels and not so slow with drink service. Other than that everything was great. We ordered a few dishes so we can try a little bit of everything. Everything tastes so good and fresh. The food is great!!! It is a little pricey but definitely worth the price. I will be back for sure!

I had visited this place last summer but for some reason forgot to review it. Back then it was called M.Y. China(MY = Martin Yan, famous chef) but for some reason the Graton Casino powers that be felt the name did not fit well so the name was changed back in Nov 2014 according to my waitress. Along with the name change there were a few tweaks to the restaurant itself as well given it’s new express to-go format on one side and sit-down casual on the other. I thought I had lost my mind when I was making my way to the back where M.Y. China was and saw M.Y. Noodles instead. It also seemed like they changed the entrance as well so I was thoroughly confused until I asked the hostess. She led us to our table and I was expecting the menu I fell in love with last summer to be a butchered by-product of a flashier brand, no sir, most of the favorites were still there! My lovely dining partner, Jessica P was none the wiser since it was her first time so she was up for anything. I on the other hand was still cautious until the plates came out. We started with some Dim Sum(Crispy Veggie Spring Rolls, Shiu Mai, Har Gow & Pot Stickers) and added a few more delicacies to round out our meal such as Green Onion Pancakes and Bang Bang Chicken Wings. Everything was cooked to perfection, had the right spice and almost went down as fast as they appeared at the table. So now I’m hooked again although I did notice a missing item, Hot Pot Lobster with Orange Essence and Dragonberries. One day we shall meet again!

We were in town during senior hours and had dinner at 5:30 and the place was nearly empty. Seated immediately and ordered quickly. Looking at the menu I couldn’t help but gasp at the prices. Yes, it’s inside a casino and yes it’s right next to the baccarat tables but those are just excuses to charge folks more than what’s necessary. Food Potstickers were crisp on the outside but lacked flavor. Filling was room temp at best and needed salt. Wok seared beef was the star of our show. Very nice texture, excellent flavors and tender beef. Crispy fried noodles were crispy up top but the sauce was on the bottom of the plate and the noodles drowning in sauce is not appetizing at all. The sauce was too thick and flavors were very odd. I can’t really describe the taste because it was so bad. BBQ pork was not the shiny bright red BBQ pork we were expecting and yes, it lacked seasoning and flavor. Overall this spot is not for us. Overpriced mediocrity is an absolute failure in my book. Sorry Yan Can. I love ya but you should be disappointed with this one.

Ehhhh, went back a few weeks ago as I love this place and it fell very short. I didnt like the new menu, I found the sectioning of it confusing and“not available at lunch” and«only available at lunch sections» to be annoying. What I really disliked was the fact that its now called MY Noodles and they pulled the best dish off the menu which was called Scissor Cut Noodles. What a drag!!! We tried some of the old favorites and found this: 1) Spring rolls — were very greasy and had next to no filling. Just lots of rice paper wrapped very tightly. 2) Pork Buns — dough was too sweet as was the filling. Also the filling was a very small quantity 3) Moo Shu tacos — found the filling to be very cabbage heavy and lacking the pork element I used to love this place and had given it 5 stars but now Im hesitant to return

I haven’t the slightest idea why, but Chinese food has never been on my list of «Things I Must Consume Right Now!» I’m a born and bred Japanese addict. It can’t be helped. When my friends suggested we eat at MY China, I internally grumbled and admitted defeat since I was clearly outnumbered. Long story short: I was pleasantly surprised. The tapas is definitely the way to go at this joint. The pork buns, spicy dumplings, prawn dumplings and thick cut noodles with boar were all delicious. The spicy sauce that comes with some of these dishes is also incredible! MY China’s real show-stopper are their drinks. Fabulous, fabulous concoctions. The Nixon is to die for. You’ll order three. It’s the perfect balance to all the flavorful, spicy food. The whole experience makes me want to try more Chinese restaurants! You’ve done well, MY. Keep it up!
