Fast and polite service. When we had a question about soup sizes the waitress was happy to run in the back and grab the different bowl sizes to show us. Ordered a lot of food. Chow mien, hot and sour soup, sweet and sour chicken, pork strips, friend rice. It was all yummy! Good quality food! Go here!

Wow… after reading the reviews on this place I guess it depends on what you get here. I always get their Mongolian beef lunch combo and LOVE it! I always get a ton of food for a good price. The Mongolian beef is highly addicting! I order Mongolian beef commonly at Chinese restaurants which is always a gamble but when it’s good it’s great and here its awesome! A lot of times the beef in Mongolian beef either tastes chemically(not even tasting like beef anymore) or such poor quality it’s too tough to chew but it’s just right here. Even the onions in the Mongolian beef are so good I eat all of them as well. We’ve also tried the broccoli chicken which was great too. I love this place but I guess it really depends on what you get.

BESTCHINESEFOOD this side of The Great Wall! Stopped by for dinner after receiving numerous recommendations from friends. Certainly was not disappointed. The owners and employees were so polite and bent over backwards to make sure everything was perfect for everyone. Szechwan chicken was easily the best I’ve ever had. And may I suggest the specialty«Melissa Fried Rice». OVERALLEXCELLENTEXPERIENCE! Will definitely be back.

Where do I start… We should have listened to the Unilocal reviews, but we figured chinese is never super high quality and decided to give this place a try. what a mistake. lets start off with the fried rice. The fried rice was noticeably stale. We had 4 people in our party, all of us noticed it. I didnt finish my rice it was so bad. As a chinese restaurant, how do you get fried rice wrong? Either they dont know how to cook it, or the rice was old. Either way, that is unacceptable from a restaurant, especially at those prices. next, we had ordered the orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken. These should have been called orange batter and sweet and sour batter. The batter to chicken ratio i think was somewhere around 80:20. on top of that the orange chicken was SUPER soggy. absolutely no texture, or flavor for that matter. just terrible. iv had super market frozen orange chicken that is exponentially better than this place. actually, i’m confident i can pull a recipe from the internet and cook it my first time and still be better than this place. lastly, the prices are extremely high for pretty small portions. there are other chinese restaurants that include the rice or chow mein portion at these prices. if i could go back, i would have gone to panda express and be super satisfied over this place, as far as taste, portions, and cost. first time here, and last. will let everyone i know how terrible this place is. gets 1 star for friendly cashier.

Sorry. But grew up on excellent NJ and NY Chinese food. SF is supposed to have better Chinese. They may but this place ain’t it. The won ton soup taste like dishwater and the rest was bland and drenched in sauces. Sorry it’s just not good. It may be the best in the neighborhood because it’s the only one.

They keep rice and soup warm all day then serve it to you. It’s nasty. Not worth your money. Food gave me a horrible stomach ache. Idk how they have such great reviews but I don’t recommend this place. You are better off making stir fry at home.

Underwhelming at best. Perhaps it was because I ordered take-out 40 min before closing, but… I don’t feel inclined to give them another shot.

I’ve had Chinese in a lot of cities and a lot of states(never go to a Chinese restaurant in Utah) and I have to say that China Delight is one of my favorites, the best Mongolian Beef I have ever had, and the noodles in their chicken chow fun are always perfect.

I would say that this is really fair Chinese food. it hits the spot and it isn’t terrible. BUT once you’ve had really good Chinese food its makes it obvious that the food at China Delight is not. i am not saying i won’t eat here. i am not saying the food is bad. its fair. the price is very reasonable and you get a good amount. i really like the lunch special. its a little of everything. and i really like the won ton soup! its great! i’ve always had great service and i recommend China Delight to students who want fair food for a fair price.

I don’t understand why this place has four stars… I came here while visiting my parents. Our favorite Chinese Food place was closed, and we used to eat here all the time(probably around a decade ago) so we decided to check it out again. We ordered Orange Tofu, Sweet and Sour Tofu, Lemon Chicken, Vegetable Chow Mein, Vegetable Fried Rice and Won Ton Chips to go. When we arrived 30 minutes later to pick everything up, the restaurant was clean and busy(most tables were filled) and the guy working the cash register was nice. I just wish the food was as great. The Orange Tofu and Sweet and Sour Tofu had SO much breading on them that you couldn’t even tell it was tofu. Maybe it wasn’t? Whatever it was, it was gross. The Orange Tofu had NO sauce and the Sweet and Sour Tofu flavor was just off. The Vegetable Chow Mein was probably the best part but the Vegetable Fried Rice was overdone and slightly charred which took away all the flavor. My Dad wasn’t a fan of his Lemon Chicken and the Won Ton Chips were severely undercooked where they weren’t crispy at all. I think we all ate a few bites and were done. Completely let down by everything. My stomach didn’t feel quite right the rest of the night. We will definitely not be coming back here. Next time our favorite Chinese Food restaurant is closed, we will go get pizza.

5 stars for this restaurant! The owners are very friendly and will most likely be serving you! This restaurant is loved by these passionate owners and it is reflected through the food and the service. Our favorite dishes are: Lovers’ Prawns, Crab Rangoons, Salt and Pepper Fish Fillets, or honestly anything with the sweet and sour sauce. Yum!

How. In. The. World. Does. It. Have. Four. Stars?! Wow. I read another review that stated«maybe if this were my first time I wouldn’t go back» and that’s exactly our experience. 2pm on a Monday, few days before Christmas. Needed some sustinance during our last-minute shopping marathon and came here based on Unilocal reviews. Hot and Sour soup was the best part of the meal. It was seasoned well, nice consistency, good flavor! But… fried rice was crunchy in parts. Gummy chow mein. The lemon chicken was so greasy that it detracted from what wasn’t bad sauce. Cashew chicken was rubbery though the fresh vegetables were good. Adding to the experience, the place just smelled old and musty and the bathroom was«clean» but so musty smelling that it just set the tone for the experience. What are we missing?

This place has the BEST Chinese food! I started going here as a hungry college kid and every meal was like coming home to a home cooked meal. The staff is so sweet and kind. They are very attentive to food allergies and favorites. I highly recommend the hot and sour soup– it’s the best you’ll find! Now that I’ve graduated, I still drive back to Rohnert Park just for the great Chinese food. Also, kudos to the salt and pepper fish and garlic chicken!

I love this place, simply put. The food is fantastic, the service is fantastic, and the takeout is quick and reasonable. Our usual order is a rice dish, usually Shrimp Fried Rice. It’s not too salty and very tasty. We also usually get the Mushu Pork, which comes with the standard four pancakes. Again, not too salty and very tasty. The third dish we alternate among Beef with Broccoli, Kung Pao Chicken, and Chicken with Snow Peas. Doesn’t match which we choose, it’s always a great dish. Coincidentally, the owners of China Delight are related to the owners of Gold Coin, a restaurant we used to always go to in our erstwhile home town, Delmar, NY. What are the odds of that? Mnn…I’m hungry again.
