Food and service pretty good, we had a big group so it took a few to get drinks and apps out to us even though it was lunch time and fairly quiet in the restaurant. We ordered sweet potato fries, peanut slaw and artichoke dip for apps, all very yummy. I had brick chicken and it was nice and light with an arugula salad&bloody mary. I will definately return!

Although we received excellent service from Tess, we believe that the kitchen process needs some work: 1. Half of the seafood offerings on the regular menu were unavailable at 6:00 p. m; 2. The vegetables were served cold, perhaps due to pre-plating; and 3. An entrée and starch were also served cold. It was not surprising to us that the Daily Grill was mostly empty.

My first time here and I left with a good impression. We received a warm greeting upon arrival and were seated in a nice booth right away. The NFL playoff game was being shown on the multiple television sets however the volume was not so loud that it interfered with your meal. Our server, Lucinda, could not have been any nicer. I ordered the skirt steak and the flavor was simply amazing. I also chose the side order of the red potato mash and it was delicious. The prices were a little on the higher side, yet the portions so generous one could easily get two meals from their order– which I plan to do. Nice to have an eatery of this caliber in Rohnert Park! I also like Tony’s of North Beach which is next door.

My family of 7 went to Shari’s on Christmas day for an early dinner only to wait 20+ minutes for someone to take our order before we left.(See my post on Shari’s Unilocal page.) We decided to go to the Daily Grill and we’re seated and waited on within 5 minutes. Most of us ordered the Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and we were pleasantly surprised at how good it was! Thanks to Shari’s lack of service we had an amazing dinner. Unfortunately, one person in our party had a diabetic reaction and an ambulance had to be called. Sorry to the staff and other patrons for this inconvenience. We will definitely be back for another great meal!

Not impressed. We ordered the«specials» — mahi-mahi and chicken parmesan and they were so-so. Our expectations were a little higher considering the price for each — around $ 25 and $ 20. Unfortunately, our cocktails were worse. The happy hour lemon drop was mediocre, but I guess it is expected due to the $ 5 price. The $ 11 Kettle One vodka martini tasted like a jar of olive juice. Awful! Thank goodness we had also requested water. Guess we would have had better luck with wine or beer. The restaurant was very noisy, as well. The waitress was efficient, however. Sorry, but don’t think we’ll be coming back to this place anytime soon.

I drove an hour to Graton to feel my luck and to fill my stomach. I really wasn’t in the mood for food court style dinner so I decided to try one of the restaurants here. I settled on Daily Grill after I saw the rotating images on the tv screen of the ahi tacos. Obviously, I ordered the ahi tacos which is an appetizer of 4 tacos. Now, the tv screen really misled me. The tacos were really small. They’re about 2 – 3 bite sizes, the ahi doesn’t have much taste, and it’s really dry. Not to mention, the taco shell just didn’t have that magical crunch to it. The other appetizer ordered is the spinach and artichoke dip. Really now? This has to be one of the worse dip I tasted in my entire life. There’s absolutely no taste and the stale bread that came with it just made it worse. By the way, the strawberry lemonade didn’t help either since it was poorly mixed and just tasted like sour lemons. Let’s change gears a bit. The blackberry pork chop is a generous option with a tasty sauce drizzled on top of it. It basically turned my frown upside down. The mash potatoes went well with that sauce. The chop burger with the egg on top is a safe bet. It’s a hamburger so there can’t be any wrongdoing. Pop the egg on top to have the yolk ooze onto the burger. It’s an add-on but definitely worth it. Summary * Ahi taco(appetizer x4) = Avoid * Spinach and artichoke dip = Avoid * Blackberry Pork Chop = Good and tasty. I recommend. * Chop Burger with Egg = Another good item. * Strawberry lemonade = Avoid

40 minutes for Spinach Dip and there are literally 12 servers working and 7 tables with guests. Bartender had no remorse for snail pace service. Not to mention the 50-something woman who is the manager, didn’t even bother to walk over why we attempted to get her attention. Look! Our dip just arrived without a napkin or utensils! I’ll just use my sleeve it’s fine. Umm. The dip is still frozen in the middle. Womp womp.

So we have been her many times now and ALWAYS a great experience. But tonight we had a waiter that was above and beyond amazing. The food as ALWAYS was super fantastic. The whole«grill» in the name is so off putting. This is a first class restaurant all the way for sure. But if your going here ask to be seated in Francisco’s section. A great young man and super attentive server.

Wouldn’t know if food was any good because it took so long for them to set up for 11 of us and bring coffees and oj’s that we got up and left. On the way out someone from the restaurant asked us who was going to pay for the oj that we had not received!

Re-visited the Daily Grill and noted a great improvement since my last visit. We had the Short Rib Sandwich, Chicken Pot Pie & Beef Barley Soup, and Wedge Salad & Creamy Tomato Soup combo for lunch. The tomato soup was a bit too runny but passable. Everything else was good with excellent service.

It’s Saturday night, hanging out with some of my closest dearest, indecisive on where to dine for the evening, drove up north and somehow, some way, ended up in Graton casino. Ultimately ending up at the Daily Grill for Dinner. Now there are other options, and maybe even could’ve been better places, but for this time we settled on «comfort food» at the Daily Grill. I was the main one pushing for us to go to the Daily Grill. I guess if I can summarize the dinner, and the experience, very hit and miss. The service was very good I must say. We were seated very expeditiously and given a very nice table to dine on. Definite plus! Then we were helped by Megan, she was very nice and helpful and seemed to be having a good time doing so. Made small talk which made us feel welcome. It was a great start! We started with glasses of Malbec, Plus. Wine brought to table in a speedy manner, Plus. We ordered a ‘Lump Crab Cake’ for our appetizer. Negative. Now the app was delicious, and would’ve been perfect if we received it in a decent time. Waited a very long time for the appetizer. One whole order of complimentary bread after, and still no appetizer. Let’s just say the cake was part of our entrée cause they came at the same time. Hmmm The entrees were delicious, setting aside the time we waited. The King Salmon, Meat Loaf, and NY Strip Steak entrees were all delicious. Food was hot and fresh so it made up for the time waited. Portions were very filling as well. Definitely a ‘Get Full’ kind of place. Overall the place was good, and it would’ve been great and beyond! If only the timing of the experience was better. The restaurant was not too busy when we showed up and could’ve been faster(service). Not to mention I recieved Meat Loaf and Mashed Potatoes with no gravy… hmmm they brought some to the table after but heck that’s the difference between 4 and 5 stars! Precision, precision, precision. On a good day this can be one hell of an experience, but on a bad day you can be disappointed. Hit and miss. Choose wisely.

Came here on a date. Located in the casino. Not too bad. We had to wait to be seated, even though there were many open seating. There were a couple of people ahead of us, so we waited for a good 20 minutes. Not bad. Walking through to be seated, there were good decoration. Good hostesses; they were pretty. They had nice settings… Not too bad. Definitely a place to bring a date. I ordered a glass of wine and angel pasta. Wine wasn’t too bad. The pasta wasn’t too bad either. Tasted fresh. Nice taste to it but there wasn’t anything WOW about it. Date had chicken. We order 3 items and the total cost was $ 50. Not sure if that’s worth it. I understand that it was made from the kitchen, which is rare in today’s restaurant. However, it wasn’t worth $ 50. I am the type of person who is willing to pay a little more for good food. Rating: Food: 2 Ambience: 3 Price: 1(over priced food for the taste.) Service: 2(could have been better, but she did her best. I think.) I may come back to taste another dish. In the meantime, I will check out places in downtown santa rosa.

We have dined here several times, and we would not have kept coming back if we were not at least satisfied. The problem is the lack of consistency on both food and service. sometimes the service is stellar and sometimes the food is spot on, but never on our visits have both meshed. Bring it all together! Until that happens we will branch out to try other restaurant offerings at Graton, but still check in here as well. I was previously misinformed that you could not bring in your own wine to the restaurants at Graton, which is not exactly true. You can bring in your own bottle of wine to this restaurant if you enter from the street entrance and not through the casino. Corkage is currently a very reasonable 10 dollars.

We were a party of 4 and got there for Thanksgiving dinner at 6:30pm, placed our order. The salad comes, and 2 min. after salad, here comes the entrees. We’re scrambling to move our dishes didn’t even come close to finishing the salad and there is NOROOM for all the plates so we end up with a jumbled mess of dishes on our table. The entrees were OK. Not exceptionally good, just OK. Could have gotten the same or even better at Dennys. Or actually I could have cooked better at home. The dinner was a special restricted menu for Thanksgiving, so the dessert was pumpkin pie or apple cobbler. 3 out of 4 of us ordered apple cobbler and 1 of us ordered pumpkin pie. So here comes the 1 slice of pumpkin pie and the waiter said we are out of apple cobbler so the other 3 don’t want pumpkin pie so we asked for a substitution, like ice cream. Waiter says, I have to ask the manager. The waiter comes back with message from manager, «NOSUBSTITUTIONS». One of us said, we want to see the manager! Manager walks over with our requested ice cream without saying one word. So it’s CRAZY that they offer few options and then they are OUTOFTHEOPTIONSWEWANT. VERY expensive, mediocre food, and the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth! Never coming here again.

We were excited to have breakfast here. We were very disappointed. It took 40 minutes to get our breakfast. It was downhill after that.
