The food has gone downhill. The fried Rice was greasy and very small portions, come on, how much does rice cost. The eight spice ribs used to be so tasty but now are dry and taste like they hv been sitting around for days. We tried their happy hour for the first time, I couldn’t believe that the only wine they had available was a mixed table wine from Lodi. They were«all out of the reds except the one from Lodi and no whites» and the bartender added you can pay full price for a white. We asked about a substitute for a happy hour white wine and were told they was none. My Noodles/China is off our list, don’t waste your money. We headed over to Tony’s North Beach for happy hour and it was great, exceptional bar service and great selection of wines.

Very good food; possibly the best Chinese in the North Bay. Green onion pancakes, Wasabi walnut prawns, abalone with pea shoots all great. I give only 3 stars because the service is erratic and the prices a little dear.

My wife and I came here for the first time Calamari, seafood dumplings, chow fun and the seafood clay pot was all very good The service was also good. At the end of our dinner my wife saw a cook blow his nose and resume cooking without washing his hands. GROSS Sanitation is very important This made our dinner not sit right

Ate several items on the happy hour bar food list. All items are $ 5 each. Chinese tacos: great! Mu shu: Good! Char siu: Good! BBQ Pork steam bun: Excellent! $ 6 Cocktail list features fruity sweet imbibes, but I did try the more astringent vodka /lime concoction. Liked it so much that I drank two. Regular sit-down meals in the main restaurant, all a-la-carte, seem a little pricey. But the dining room is fancy and the service is impeccable. Figure a full on feast per person is going to cost $ 40, plus drinks. As good Chinese restaurants in Sonoma county are rare to non-existent, this place is highly recommended.

Good shui mai, pot stickers have a whole wheat dough that some will like other might not(I did). Eclectic wine list, and don’t forget the happy hour that ends at 7pm weeknights.

M.Y. China was quite a memorable experience! It was a Friday night and we were able to walk-in without reservations. It just so happened to be one of the few nights that Chef Martin Yan was doing a demo, too. We chose the Wealth Menu(which was their midrange option) and it was quite a feast! Great customer service and the food was delicious! It was a modern take on traditional Chinese food… and then some! We had a great time… definitely something to experience.

Have been to happy hour here a couple times about a month ago, went there tonight and the happy hour menu was different. Portions are smaller, prices are higher, although the food still tasted good don’t know why they are short changing us now.

My three friends and I went there last Sunday. We got there at 11:30, just a few customers there on a Sunday lunch. We ordered almost 10 dishes including dim sum and most of them were just ok. The crab with green onion and ginger — the crab wasn’t that fresh, the Taiwanese roasted duck — a lot of meat but very dried, the stir-fried fish with black bean sauce — too salty, scallop fried rice, pea sprouts with garlic, and the chicken feet were alright. The only one dish that I liked the most was the green onion pancake appetizer. We were not impressed with the service either.

Nice viewing of the kitchen, good food, clean environment, premium price. I was impressed with the quality of my appetizers, and i felt safe ordering something exotic(chicken feet) because of the clean environment. The price was high compared to dim sum spots in the city. Ill have to come back for an entrée and a follow up review.

Oh no, we ate here when they first opened and it was great but Huston — we have a problem. The menu has been cut back, including no more Forbidden Rice, OMG! That was the best. What we ordered was between bland and tasteless. I was shocked. The service was like a scene out of the walking dead. I hope someone grabs the controls and pulls this baby out of its nose dive, because you can’t have so-so food and bad service for long. Please, Martin Yan, do yourself a favour and check this place out. The way things are right now you don’t want your name on it.

Let me start out by saying BIGLETDOWN! Okay, so judging by the classy décor and menu items, you think it’s going to be at least Pf Chang’s quality. Then you are let down when the food arrives, you take a bite, and it is luke warm and bland. It really tasted like it had come out of a bag and was microwaved, comparable to Apple Bee’s. All the dishes we ordered were $ 20+, which didn’t seem like bad prices at the time. But of course after getting our food, we were not happy with the price for quality. You’re better off eating in the food court, the same quality of food for half the price.

If you expect this to be the same as the MY China in San Francisco — don’t get your hopes up. The standard of service here is way off from the one in SF. I had to ask one of the bussers to take out the unnecessary extra plates from the table, despite her already seeing those empty plates from the first two trips she took to our table. The server keeps disappearing. It took a while to get our check. Also, what the heck is an Asian restaurant serving the food in no specific order??? We ordered veggies, chicken, duck, 2 dimsum, and rice. Chicken and duck came first, then dimsum, veggie, dimsum… And rice came very last. How long does it take to cook fried rice? And how would you expect your customers to eat the rice if the main dishes are already finished? Poor service. The food? Don’t expect too much. They don’t know how to cook their meat properly here either. Oh, and they don’t have enough tea cups in this place. They gave us a mug for our tea. If you want to try MY China, go to the one in SF. This branch doesn’t do the brand any justice.

What a great surprise to find such an outstanding restaurant with a staff that is the friendliest, knowledgable, and professional group of people there to serve you. This was our first visit and from the time we walked by to check out the menu and ambiance to when we walked out after dessert we had such a fabulous time! And that doesn’t even speak to the food which is exceptional. From start to finish this is an experience we will remember. It is worth driving to the casino just for a meal at this restaurant. Excellent staff and great food and ambiance

Firstly the service was extremely slow and we almost walked out and secondly the HK style crispy noodles with chicken had very poor quality chicken meats in it. We thought these were pieces of fried tofu only to realise that it was one tough(and probably old/aged) chicken when I had a bite into it. We gave them feedback when the waitress noticed that we haven’t eaten the chicken pieces. She did say that she will let chef Goh know to ensure it won’t happen again so try your luck! Having said this, dumplings were served piping hot so I liked them. The hargow was quite good and the pork soup dumplings(Shanghai Shaolongbao) was pretty okay too but nothing special. I wanted to give it two stars but the noodle chef showed off his moves in Gangnam Style, so one extra star for the entertainment.

Yan really can cook! Yes you heard me, this is another one of PBS’s famed Asian cook Martin Yan’s brainchildren. I didn’t make the connection at first upon hearing about it from my friend nor seeing it in person until the waiter told us the story about the Lobster dishes saying the name Martin. Like one of Hugh Hefner’s blondes getting an elementary joke, I was like ohhhhhh giving the waiter pause to smile. The waiter told of a trip Martin and his Chief Executive Chef took to China brining back amazing recipes for an array of Lobster dishes. Of course we had to take part in this special«limited time only» menu that storytime was about but first we wanted to give a special nod to their unique appetizers. I was in the mood for a small plate of dim sum this time in the form of pork shiu mai while the ladies wanted me to try Mu Shu Pork Tacos(aka Wild Boar Tacos). We all agreed on our autonomously picked appetizers and enjoyed every morsel of each. The pork siu mai was unlike any I’d ever tasted, it was light and packed full of port and shrimp. It was a great compliment to the lobster bounty we were about to order. Up next was the Wild Boar Tacos and boy were those a treat! Nice thin strips of pork meat complimented with cabbage, egg, onion strings and a savory ginger sauce. It was time for the signature dish which was recommended not only by Storytime Waiter but my area friend as well. We all decided to sink our teeth into the Orange Peel Lobster which hails from the Shanghai Region of China(see, I listened!). The plate came to the table and we were wide-eyed with excitement especially seeing that we had to work a bit to get the meat out of claws, torso and head(ok I wasn’t as excited as the others but I didn’t bring the house down). This succulent lobster had a few things going for it, the orange peel gave it a fresh flavor while the ginger and wolf berries rounded out the flavor profile with savory and sweet notes. The lobster meat itself was fresh and sweet with hints of the other flavors around it, not fishy at all. We were all pleased that the bounty we partook in didn’t leave us feeling like bloated sea mammals as well. Of course with any perfectly crafted lunch, we had to opt for a dessert experience. Storytime Waiter didn’t have a story for the Sugar Egg Puffs we ordered but he did highly recommend them. My friend had already enjoyed them before and was clamoring to see my reaction. The puffs were perfectly light and airy with the right amount of sugar coating and delectable dipping sauces in the form of bittersweet chocolate, strawberry and a house-made whipped cream. All of those things made this delicate ball such a treat and a great way to round out a perfect lunch! I will not hesitate to come back!!!

Noodles made every three hours fresh Very good food from my experience places like this really don’t have good food due to all the other action in casino. Very pleased most importantly great service no where in Santa Rosa California has good customer service but this place.
