Always a fun place for magic players. Their toy and rc selections are good. Staff is friendly and approachable. Steve and Jean run a fantastic store with lots of events during the week. Their 5^th Saturday sales are a great deal.

My family loves shopping at this fun store, they really have something for each of us!
Recently we had a poor weather forecast on the day of my son’s planned birthday party, I called around to a few child-​oriented local businesses and found Fundemonium to be the most accommodating and flexible, so I chose to hold his party there. Jean and Steven were more than happy to accommodate all of our needs with short notice, even managing to let us enjoy the piñata I had so carefully picked out for the 3 & 4 year olds to break. Adults and children alike really enjoyed the space, party goers were able to observe the RC track in action and the play area that was set up for our use. A very positive experience and I hope their business does really well, it’s a great toy & hobby store!

Its nice and big it has practically everything I’m looking for. Great store over all.

This is a Hobby Town type store. In door ¹⁄₁₈ scale carpet track inside, Lego building, card games, and more events. I get a weekly news letter of events which is helpful. This store has a little bit of everything and seems like a fun place for families. I’d actually like to see this store grow.

What a great place, all sorts of hobbies i love and a few I am peaking an interest in they likely have it. They have great staff and customer service, you walk in and you’re always greeted warmly and welcomed in, if you need help with something theres always someone there to help you. Great activities for kids especially their play areas. Sort of disappointed in some of my fellow reviewers, its a business, they provide a service and expect to get paid. Its not bad customer service if you’re asked to pay for something you’re using. I expect to pay when I go to a movie theater or gas up my car why wouldn’t you pay to play especially when its posted theres a fee? Anyway rant aside, I am really glad they are local here in rohnert park, its my son and I’s favorite place to visit and are grateful for them being here.

I recently went into this beautiful large store with my husband and two grandchildren. I kept my 4-​yr-​old grandson busy in the train and Lego play area while my granddaughter shopped for a «secret» birthday gift for him, and my husband was in the radio-​controlled helicopter area. I felt a bit put off when a store employee explained that there was a $ 3 charge for my grandson to play in the area. I explained that I was just trying to keep the 4-​yr-​old distracted while his sister purchased a surprise gift for him, and we were allowed to continue playing without charge. This same saleswoman was very helpful to my 10-​yr-​old granddaughter as she made her «secret» purchase at the register, and I don’t want to specifically target her for criticism. I just want to say that the experience felt very customer-​unfriendly and led me to go to a different store to make my Lego purchase.

Want to know how to take the «Fun» out of Fundemonium? Have an employee tell your wife to pay $ 3 for self-​entertaining a 5 year old near the front of the store (playing with dinosaurs) while I’m looking at $ 500+ RC models to purchase and fly. Someone needs to take a basic business 101 course on how to treat consumers and keep them coming back.

Great place for models and supplies. They have gundam and can special order. People are great and they were able to preorder the newest perfect grade.

Pretty neat place. A lot of toys, hobbies, crafts available. It is a bit ridiculous to charge $ 7 for kids to play at the train & LEGO tables, especially after spending $ 35 for store merchandise.

What a disappointment. Went in today with my 4 year old son and his grandparents to scope out the possibility of hosting his 5^th birthday party here. My son went right for the lego table to play and was PROMPTLY told that he needed to ask his parents to pay the $ 7 fee. We were the only ones in the store. Clearly, the employee was more interested in getting the $ 7 than the potential hundreds the out-​of-​town grandparents would have spent on birthday toys. Truly a shame, because Grandpa was shopping in the RC section! We wouldn’t mind paying the $ 7, but really didn’t feel a folding table with the same legos we have at home was worth the price. Not to mention, the train table and slot cars are an extra fee.
On the positive side, large selection of toys, models, and RC in a convenient location… I’d consider coming back if I was in the area and needed something of the sort, but wouldn’t make a special trip or have a party here.

I came here looking for some miniature accessories to decorate my tarantula terrarium with, and some fancy paint to paint a miniature. My girlfriend came to see if they had a paint that might work to fix some scratches she’d put into her new, shiny metalic high heels. We didn’t find a paint that matched her needs exactly, but I did find some tiny potted plants and some paint in the perfect colors for my projects. The staff were very friendly and helpful even though we were asking for really odd-​ball stuff and the prices seemed fair to me. It’s a cool store and I liked their selection of toys, including figurines and Breyer horses!

I was excited to have a toy shop local! I mean who doesn’t like toys? Great selection of toys and you can race their toy cars in the track! Bring the family and check them out.

My go to place for models. Very daring experiment with the activities areas and snack bar at the new store. Square footage isn’t cheap! But now maybe we can stop complaining about nothing to do for kids in Rohnert Park! Not the cheapest place to buy stuff, but the service (repairs, advice, parts) make it worth it. They have coupons and good sales if you watch for them.

I visited this store for the first time and purchased a hobby RC car. The employee’s are uninterested in approaching and helping customers from my initial visit but I still gave them a chance. I am glad I did! Although I think the staff needs some customer service training the owner is above and beyond helpful. I would highly recommend supporting this hobby shop so it’s around in the future. I noticed some table’s while visiting and it may be set up for some MTG or board gaming as well. It seems like a great place to game compared to the cramped dingy shops I’m used to. A+

I was so disappointed when visiting the new location. My grandson whose 3 was excited to go see the new shop. He loves the train table. IMAGINE MY SHOCK. It now is 7 $ to play on the tables. It’s in their new activity center. My grandson does not have the attention span to play with trains that long. What a rip. So today went to Sonoma Toy shop whre the train table is free. While he was distracted. I did 100 $ worth of Christmas shopping. Will do all my toy shopping in Sonoma.

Visited Fundemonium recently to get a birthday gift for my 5 year old niece. I found the staff very helpful. They have quite an assortment of items to choose from for all ages. As it was my first visit, I took a few extra minutes to look around at all they had and was quite impressed. I found two great painting craft kits and they were kind enough to wrap the gifts for me.
While I was there I learned that they are planning to move soon to Rohnert Park and will be expanding to a location that is twice the space and will have a kids party room too!

I came here for replacement batteries and a replacement charger for my new quadcopter. The tech was able to identify the model quadcopter I had based upon the battery and charger I brought it. Very knowledgeable staff!
They had a charger and batteries in stock. They also let me know that they carry replacement parts for my model. I’m sure I’ll be back when I break something! :-)

I have been shopping with Fundemonium for over 5 years. I have had nothing but great experiences every time I visit. These days it is rare to find a good hobby, even more scarce to find a hobby shop with good products and great customer service.
I am a pretty dedicated RC helicopter flyer and it is hard to find shops that carry helicopter parts and machines. Fundemonium has a great inventory of helicopters and usually has a good stock of replacement parts to go with it.
Anytime I want to order something they don’t have in stock they give you 5% off and if usually arrives within a few days. All of the employees are very knowledgable and are more than willing to help answer questions to help you no matter if its for a $ 5 part or a $ 1000.00 helicopter.
The owner Steve is a stand up guy, always happy too help with big smile on his face, and he truly cares about his customer and will go above and beyond to keep you coming back.
I would highly recommend Funemonium to any one any age. It is a friendly place place full of fun toys, RC products, and great people!

Good Staff. Very friendly and will help you figure out exactly what you are looking for. I bought a Traxxas Slash 4×4 and I love it.

What a wonderful place. We take my son there every time my wife shops at Trader Joe’s (right next door). They are so inviting, and my son feels at home exploring and testing the different toys.
They are very knowledgeable and make every effort to please the customer.
