Kelly makes big lots worth shopping at. She was extremely helpful and made me feel like I was more than just any other customer. As long as she keeps working there I will continue to shop there!

Usually well stocked with clean aisles. I find myself here for Christmas decorations today. However, I magically didn’t get any Christmas items. Rather I walked out with bird seeds, cat toys, bargain scented candles for under three bucks, and some socks. Oddly enough, I tend to do this here. I walk in with one idea and leave without what I wanted despite a dented wallet. Oh wells, the bargains are what keep me from grumbling.

I am local resident and shop at Big Lots constantly. Overall I do like the Rohnert Park store, but there is one employee, who I have had multiple encounters with, who is just terrible. Her name is Cindy and she is beyond rude. Every time that I go in and Cindy is there, there is some issue. I have even complained to upper level management before and shes still there, with no attitude change! Shes cold, degrades her co-workers — in front of costumers!- and sincerely does not care for the costumer. I actually like Big Lots: good deals, clean store, but they need to get it together and get her out of there or I dont think I can shop there anymore. If youre shopping at Big Lots Rohnert Park — watch out for Cindy!!!

I would steer clear from EVER buying furniture from this store. Every thing that could have possibly gone wrong, went wrong. I was initially working with Cindy on purchasing my sectional and bunk bed. I have to add that I’ve gone in this store several times before waiting to get help. I had retrieved my sectional on a Friday and was told my bunk bed would not be delivered to the store until Monday morning. OK, that was fine. I cleaned out my daughter’s room that weekend while she was away at a family’s house. I called Monday morning and spoke with a very nice associate and then was transferred me to Cindy. Cindy quickly told me that the truck had arrived but have not unloaded it yet. She said she’ll call me later in the afternoon to let me know when I can pick it up. I had not heard back from anyone all morning and afternoon, so I called at 6pm that evening. I spoke with Cindy again. She said the truck took off and forgot to take the bunk bed out of it. I was furious. 1) She failed to deliver her promise to calling me back that afternoon. 2) She was RUDE about it. I felt like our entire conversation, she just blew me off. 3) She was not apologetic and did not take ownership. She was very careless and shrugged the entire thing off. Said«it was out of her hands and there is nothing she can do about it.» EVEN after I told her that she needs to call someone to fix this or else my daughter will be sleeping on the floor of her room. I called corporate myself. I was helped by two people, one of whom was the Regional Manager of Big Lots for this area. The other was the store manager, Karen. Both were helpful and apologetic to my horrific experience. Karen called and said she’d drive down to Ukiah to pick up my bunk bed and I would be able to pick it up on Friday. She was very sorry for the happening and said she’d give me a $ 49.95 voucher for the inconvenience. So, I picked the voucher and bed up on Friday and noticed it was missing the instruction manual. I called back that same Friday and Karen helped me. I went back to the store and picked up the manual. We assembled the bed and towards the end, we realize that it was missing a piece. I called Karen back(while I apologized for the volume of calls that day) she was a bit short and said she’d order the piece and have me pick it up at the store. Cindy called me the next day and said the piece was in the store. AGAIN I went back and picked it up. Last night I to use my voucher since I’ve decided that I will NEVER return to this store again because of the lack of customer service. I brought my sister with me and I picked my items. I went in line to check out, and what do you know, Cindy was my cashier. As soon as she rang up my items, I handed her over the voucher. She looked at the voucher like I had stolen it or something. It made me feel even more uncomfortable than it already is with her bitchiness. She proceeded to make calls and checked if the voucher was valid. She FINALLY after a 10 minute wait, checked my items out. She refrained from giving me my receipt other than what I paid for in cash. What I paid in cash another issue. She rudely snatched my money out of my hand. My sister was next. She treated her the same and was extremely rude to her. We’re not sure if she was discriminating against us, but we did not see her treat anyone else that way. With all said, I will never go to that store ever again and will never recommend anyone there. This store does not care for customer retention or reputation.

Just left my intended purchase on the floor by the register after waiting 10 minutes in a line that did not move. The poor guy at the only open register kept calling for another checker but no one responded. As I was getting in my car to leave I noticed about 6 employees directly in front of the building having a smoke break. awesome, I will never waste me time there again.

Nice customer service. I called to inquire about in stock patio umbrellas. Debbie answered the phone and had someone check stock, I wasn’t on hold for very long before I got a response. I went to buy the patio umbrella and was greeted by a friendly cashier. They have the best price for a 9′ patio umbrella, their price beats Lowe’s by $ 20 bucks. For certain decorative items, Big Lots fills the need.

Great customer service! I bought a TV Stand /entertainment center the week of Thanksgiving. Then it went on sale on Black Friday. I called the manager and they agreed to do a price adjustment. So I got an even better price than I expected. It is so much better quality than the price reflects, the perfect size and style for our needs. I recommend this store.

My husband and I recently bought a gorgeous leather couch from them and being that we do not have a giant moving truck on hand, utilized their recommended delivery service Expressit Logistics. Upon arrival, the couch had two giant gashes in it. We paid almost 1,000 dollars for this couch with now two HUGE gashes in it. When we contacted the store, they said it was our responsibility to figure out how to get the couch back to them and pick up a new one. WHAT!!! We just spend 1,000 dollars on furniture in their store which was damaged and then another 65 dollars to have it delivered, and for something that was not our fault regardless of who is responsible, as customers, we are being told that we have to deal with it. Unbelievable!!! This was our first experience there and we will NEVER be shopping at BIg Lots again.
