Leonardo’s Pizza

We were looking for a quick meal and decided on pizza. We ordered a large pepperoni, green pepper and mushroom pizza. The large was plenty for 5 adults (we made a homemade salad). We all thought it was really good. The sauce was tasty and when picking up the pizza, it was extremely hot… which is always a good thing. If looking for a quick bite, check them out.

Came here while vacationing from New Jersey. Pizza is delicious! My father also got a sandwich and said it was REALLY GOOD. New Jersey is supposed to have great pizza but this place beats any place up North. Came back twice within a week. Will be back again if we ever visit the OBX again.

The ONLY reason why I gave this place 3 stars is because they accommodated 11 of us (even though the place was empty) & the pizzas were good. Not great, but good. Not anything to come back to!
Other than that, my $ 5 house salad consisted of a half handful of chopped up head of lettuce, a bunch of onions, 2 olives & 2 grape tomatoes. I asked for no banana peppers, but they left off the mozz cheese as well… for $ 5 I coulda got more of a salad from a fast food place! Also ordered onion rings, got about 4 & a baby one.
Service was AWFUL. I’m not sure if it was because it was 2pm, they had no business & 11 people walked in or if she just had a stick up her butt. Nonetheless, she was rude & seems annoyed. Will never go back, I’d rather go to Lisa’s!

We got a pizza one night just for something quick and easy. The sauce is superb. I expected a little better/​tastier sausage, but it was fine. The crust was thin and chewy — like a good NY style should be. Not a bad pizza for a quick grab.

Food was good. Not the best pizza in the world, but it hit the spot after an 8 hr drive. Waitress was nice to us, but to others she seemed annoyed with. She forgot a couple of times what we asked for so we had to get her attention several times. Not that big of a deal. Decent place to eat. I would stay away from busy hours though. Pizza wait time was 30 minutes plus for some.

After a long fly and drive to Waves, it was very nice to have a pizza shop near by. We ordered two pizzas, antipasto salads, and wings and was told it would be 40 minutes. No biggie, we enjoyed the view then left a little early to find the shop. By the steady stream of pick ups as we waited, there were lots of other guests who also like to order out. The pizza was really good too! well worth the wait.

Awesome pizza! The crust and taste were fabulous with just the right amount of sauce. My significant other and I are quite fussy about pizza but we have no negative feedback here :)). Our vacation in Waves, NC has been fun and memorable and now we can add great pizza to it to top it off :)))). Oh and the wings were really good too!

We ate here twice this week — pizza and sandwiches were really good. Prices were very fair and service was prompt. We’ll go back.

Best pizza hands down in the area. Tastes like a NY pizza pie. I eat here multiple times when on vacation.
