This place is so close to me, I can’t beleive I’ve never realized how good it was before. I don’t see a lot of pizza places that have the option for sesame seed crust, but this place does and it compliments the flavor of the pizza so well! Crust is nice and crisp. This owner is also a very nice man who named the place after his daughter so its a its a true mom & pop pizzeria (daugher & pop?) He’s also hired very nice employees. I brought 2 pies home to the fam and everyone was happy!

This is one of the most underrated pizza parlors in Rocky Point, their grandma with sesame seed crust is the truth and I seriously would not look past it.

Best pizza on north shore! All there pizza is made perfectly and I go there occasionally. They are both fast and the quality is always great. They also offer coupons but the price of the pizza is already pretty low. I recommend the vegetable pizza, it taste very good, one of their best!

The pizza served here is the best I have ever had! They incorporate a crispy, yet thick, crust with a delicious sauce and just the right amount of cheese. The food is always served hot and fresh; and they offer a variety of pastas and other typical foods that one would find in a pizza place. Personally, I love the garlic knots because they are bite size! Another cool feature is that they make home-​made italian ices in many different flavors, my friends and I all agree that their chocolate fudge brownie ices are the best.
The service is also excellent, Melaninas is a small, family-​run business and you can usually find the owner working behind the counter with a smile on his face. Everyone there is extremely friendly which adds a warm atmosphere to the already great food. To top it all off, the prices are very reasonable, and much cheaper than most pizza places in the area.
I would definitely recommend Melaninas to anyone looking for pizza, or other italian style food, in the north shore area.
