Westridge Grill

I stopped by the Westridge Grill for lunch today. It was a beautiful day to sit outside, read a book and enjoy a bite to eat. I can not comment on the interior of the establishment as I sat outside. I shared the patio with only one other patron and his dog. It was great to see that dogs are welcome at Westridge Grill!
I had the sweet tea and the Chicken Reaper salad. Thank goodness for the tea as the hot sauce on the chicken was very spicy! This sauce is not for the faint of heart! Fortunately I paired my salad with ranch dressing (a generous amount came on the side) which helped cut down the heat. I would recommend getting both the hot sauce and the dressing on the side. Also, I ordered the half sized portion which was more than enough you can see from the picture!
Overall, I had a good experience and would love to come back again for dinner and a beer!

The food is pretty standard bar food but it is really good. I had the chicken wings and they were really good. I loved the house made ranch they use. The waitstaff is very friendly and the food came out in pretty good time. I really enjoyed my experience here.

The best way to describe this bar is «it is what it is». There’s nothing spectacular about it to warrant a special trip here but it isn’t awful. I guess the biggest draw here is that there’s a decent amount of local beer bottles and drafts available. All the mixed drinks I’ve tried are pretty watery and mediocre. The food isn’t notable in any way. Just basic bar fare but most of the selections seem frozen or pre-​prepared. There’s trivia on Tuesday nights which is fun and I guess it’s a good place to go and watch the game in a city where there are few good places to go and do that, but other than that I wouldn’t recommend a special trip here.

I love Westridge Grill! The beer is cold, the food is good and greasy, the staff is friendly, the service is fast, and the atmosphere is positive.

Had a delicious lunch. The new Jerk chicken salad is wonderful, and it’s a perfect size for lunch. My wife had the BLT and salad combo and said it very tasty. I would recommend this restaurant for a relaxing lunch outside.

One of the only places around town where you can sit outside and enjoy lunch and a beer. The staff is great… the food is decent bar food (the chicken salad sandwich is my go-to)…it’s a great place to hang out with friends. Trivia night and live music always draw crowds.

Food is fair but the service and selection of Carolina beers is excellent. Great place for appetizers and beer.

Better than any chains in town that’s fo’sho.
Great regional craft beer selection. Although the menu consists of mainly traditional bare fare they do mix in a few nightly specials that are very good. Staff is always very helpful in finding the right brew and suggesting specials and other menu items if you are at a loss.

Was looking for a surprise here. Overrated. Small piece of fish on a hamburger bun? Same with the turkey club? Pile of fries was twice size of sandwich. Decent draft selection at best.

What an amazing place to reunite with friends. The service is there, but most importantly the owner is there orchestrating food and service moves. My wife and I tried the Hot wings Hot and a Burger. Both great! But being particularly Wings fans and having eaten at many (Wings) places we gave Westridge Grille’s Hot Wings a 5 being 5 the best. We ordered our Wings well done hoping for crispiness, they came perfect, add their sauce to it and we were extremely happy. The Blue cheese, could have been a little better in our opinion, but over all we had a Great time meeting with our friends and enjoying the quality of the food! We gave service a 4 because our waitress had to through many tight places to get to us.
We gave them 3 on their venue because of the need for space. It gets crowded on Friday Nights of course, but it does because they are Good!
Westridge Grill is in a Plaza on Sunset, try then you’ll enjoy it!

Food was good, drinks cold, and bartender was nice. The city is dead, but otherwise this place is cool!

Stop by for lunch based on Unilocal reviews. Bypassed lunch special and instead ordered teriyaki steak wrap from the menu. Wrap was tasty, but could have been bigger for $ 9.99.
I asked for the fruit for the side. I received a small bowl of canned fruit cocktail. This pretty much killed it for me. I asked and received «homemade» cole slaw as a replacement. Again pretty underwhelmed.
Looks like a good place to watch a game and have a couple of beers if ever in Rocky Mount.
I can’t recommend for lunch. The value equation is better next door at Subway.

I first visited the Westridge Grill just over a year ago while on a business trip to RM. A co-​worker and I really enjoyed the people-​watching. As another reviewer noted, there is usually a very eclectic crowd, which makes the atmosphere very enjoyable.
My wife and I have now been to the Westridge three times over the past two months and love it! !The head waitress is the best — she is very friendly and is also the local historian for all things Rocky Mount.
Great specials on craft beers on tap almost every night. This is a great little place to hang out and be comfortable!

While visiting from out of town an impromptu visit for a quick time-​out pleasantly surprised us with such friendly staff and terrific staff and specials! Had a wonderful time bumping into people we used to know 20 years ago! This place is clearly the «happening» place and the place to be. Thursday nights they offer live music, and I just hate we won’t be in town to return. My husband and I both commented on the eclectic population that was there; families, young people, older people, singles and couples. For some unknown reason, the staff wear silly hats! Such a fun place to be! Next time we visit RM, we will be Facebooking to meet others there.

I was really impressed with the craft beer selection at the Westridge Grill, something I was not expecting to find in Rocky Mount! The Philly Cheesesteak was really good and it seems that the other bar food there was yummy as well.

The food is not at all expensive and is good! They have lunch, dinner, and drink specials daily. The staff are all really friendly and make you feel welcomed. They also have live music. So if you are into friendly people, inexpensive good bar food, bars, and live music, this is definitely the place to go if you are in Rocky Mount, NC! Near the community college so check it out if you are a student.

Lunch specials! Everyday Westridge has a lunch special (including beverage) for $ 4.99! In this economy that is awesome on the purse strings! I’m pretty certain they have the BEST french fries in town, and the chicken strip wrap on Wednesdays is fantastic. The staff are great, and the owner, Mike, makes a point to speak to everyone if possible.
If you’re into live music, they have that too once a week. Great atmosphere, great food!

Good bar food. SUPER FRIENDLY SERVICE. Plenty of outlets, and FREE WIFI. What more could you ask for a quick lunch?
