I tried many CT salons when I moved up from Baltimore and had no luck until finding Cutter’s Edge due to a recommendation from a friend. I was lucky enough to find Erika who has done an incredible job EVERYTIME I’ve gone. I’m very picky about my hair and it was terrifying having to try out new stylists to see if anyone was at the level I was used to with my previous stylist. I actually prefer Erika to my old stylist and the salon as a whole is wonderful. Everyone is friendly and helpful. You get a call a few days in advance to remind you of your appointment and to make sure you can still make it(so if you need to cancel, so you won’t be charged any extra fees). The stylists regularly attend workshops and classes to learn new techniques and the gals offer you water, coffee, tea or wine when you arrive. It’s always a relaxing and fun experience and most importantly, I always leave extremely happy with my hair. The salon is upscale, but not too pricey– especially for the end result and experience you receive while there. I have seen clients of all ages and styles walk in and leave happy. From edgy and punk rock(my hair happens to be blue, currently) to subtle and sophisticated, they really can do it all. :) I HIGHLY recommend Cutter’s Edge and Erika.
