Just got my hair cut by Deepa. She did a great job– and came out perfect! She even took the extra time to prep and cut my hair to donate it to Locks for Love.

I went here for a root touch up and eyebrows and I had a great experience here! The ambience was great and Deepa knows her art well! She was very genuine in recommending me some great products. I even got a cute goodie bag with some of those products! Thanks, Deepa I will be back for more :)

I can not put into the appropriate words how much I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Deepa and Bella Hair&Beauty Salon. I do not get impressed very easily, being in NYC you get desensitized to a lot of things and encounter superb to very unexceptional business handling. I usually get my eye-​brows threaded in NYC, my family lives in CT and my Mother, through her work met Deepa and genuinely was impressed by her. She told me I should wait and get my eyebrows done, even one time and I would see what she was talking about. My Mother doesn’t boast someone to that extent unless they are OMG; so we went to Deepa while I was visiting in CT. Yes, my Mother was right lol :) The first thing is the ambiance — you walk in– it just feels so comfortable and inviting. To me personally, if I don’t feel comfortable, especially with a beauty procedure, I can not stay. Bella hair has that comfortable– please sit down and let me take care of you feel. Which is nice, I’m always on the go and rushing so that felt nice. Deepa (the owner and Designer) blew me away with her credentials and she is sweeter than apple pie! She has a bachelors degree as well in science so she not only does beauty but understands the makeup and genetics of the human system. She gave me such good advise and was genuinely trying to help me with an issue with my eyebrows that not even the dr could find a solution. She even gave me a take home remedy and advise– like come on, that’s superb 5 star customer service and human being!!! She knows her stuff, works on fashion week, and is highly knowledgable and trained! What I think makes Deepa and Bella Hair and Beaty Salon stand out as well is her knowledge in «natural and holistic» approaches to beauty. I am in the acting/​modeling industry and I am always seeking for natural things in a world of fake and everything being chemically enhanced/​injected. She even gave my makeup and products a beauty régime check-​off-​like what I should be using and what could actually be hurting me and my skin. She did this all willingly and I was so grateful, super blown away!!! I recommend this business and Deepa. This is a passionate beauty person (hair, makeup, skin, the whole nine yards) and she will talk to you genuinely!!! That in itself is worth 5 stars– she wasn’t trying to sell me or MAKE me buy things. I will definitely be back again. Deepa thank you again– see you soon!
