Updating my review… but it stays the same. Jsut that I’ve been there a handful more times, and it is still outstanding. Not just a one-time experience. Great people work there. They were also very nice and accommodated my low-carb breakfast sandwich request. Coffee is outstanding.

Staff is sweet and friendly. They’ll make your coffee the way you like. Had the most delicious coffee crumb cake here. Can’t wait to be in town again so i can stop by especially for a slice of that coffee cake!

Really really wanted to love this place. Read all the good reviews and was excited to find a little cozy coffee place. The place was dark and dinfy with really old furniture which i domt mind. What i did mind though was that my coffee tasted like nothing. I got an oreo frappé with an expresso shot. Tasted like blended milk with an espresso shot. I’ll give it another shot another and update this review if it’s any better.

Great coffee, roasted on-site. Multiple varietals available as drip coffee. Depth of flavor of all products exceeds local competitors. A bit slow, but you are waiting for excellence, so be still. Breakfast products are available, I haven’t tried much there but it looks good. Price point on drinks is better than Starbucks and Dutch Bros, in spite of the higher quality. Well done Edwin and Co.

The good– Ed himself mans the joint most of the time. His mom makes the quiches and loafs. He roasts the coffee on a roaster in the front corner of the shop. The black and white mocha is all time. The pepper jack and turkey bread loaf is delicious and the rice crispy treat dipped in chocolate hits the spot when you want something sweet. Ed has a solid list of shakes and smoothies for the kids on those hot summer afternoons.
The bad– Okay… Not terrible, but true. This is a local business, typical staff is one to four people, it doesn’t matter if one person is working or four people. No one is in a hurry. DONOTCOMEHEREIFYOU’REIN A HURRY. You will be frustrated and it’ll likely ruin your experience. It’s pretty common to find people loudly yapping about politics and smoking cigarettes on the patio. Can be a little obnoxious, but comes with the territory. The quality of the coffee, the heart and soul, the feel of this local spot far outweighs the bad. It’s just not for everyone and I’m fine with that.

Great coffee and good service. The girls working are always so friendly. Strongly recommend trying it. For sure beats Starbucks!

A real gem in the area. One of the those non-chain places that we need more of in the burbs. Great coffee, staff, and food in a low profile building. «The muffin man» my kids call him… hint, try the muffins, ginger snaps. and drinks of course.

Good coffee choices with friendly service. I knocked off a star because they allow patrons to smoke out on their balcony — I say allow because the young man who served us came out to light up with the offender. Not cool, thought this was illegal in California. The smoke drifting our way killed any of the pleasant coffee aromas we expected to enjoy. No WiFi. Not likely to return.

I’ve lived in nearby Roseville for a few years but somehow missed this special spot. Coffee shops like this simply don’t exist any longer. DELICIOUS breakfast rolls, quiches, etc. Also, fantastic coffee drinks at exceptionally reasonable prices. Other places can handle that. What makes this place special is the personal touch. It feels like the morning after a sleepover at your best friends’ house. Even the regular customers are chill.

Been going here for over a year and have honestly never been disappointed. Edwin runs the place and provides excellent service as well as quality coffee(he roasts his own coffee). Other than phenomenal coffee choices, the shop also provides great muffins and delicious snacks. My personal favorites at Edwin’s are the Cordon Bleu Loaf and his cappuccinos. This is the place to go!

If coffee houses were burger joints, Starbucks would be McDonald’s and Edwin’s would be home cooked natural juicy burger with the works. This coffee place is a great place if you want high quality, well crafted coffee drinks. The owner(I’m assuming it’s the owner) is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He was very nice and the coffee is amazing! The food is also really delicious, and is homemade. *great coffee *great service, personable *Ham and cheese Quiche was really good

Dropped in for a try since such great reviews. The atmosphere was nice and easy going, Ed and grandma, who roasts all the coffee(!!) were fabulous and the bran muffin, mini apricot cheesecake and espresso shake all to die for. It might be about an hour away but I’ll be back!

From out of town and followed the five star Unilocal review here. Very tasty cold-brew and a blessedly not-Starbucks atmosphere. My(non-deal breaker) gripe: It is espresso, not expresso. I have a hard time trusting my barista’s expertise when this key word is mispronounced. But she still makes a good latte!

Edwin’s was a pleasant and unlikely find amidst the seemingly endless suburban sprawl of Roseville. It has the feel of a downtown coffee shop, which is to say it bucks the trend of antiseptic, corporate coffee offerings in the ‘burbs. I was on the hunt for someplace to work and originally planned on checking out Origins. Fortunately for Edwin and me, Origins happened to be closed for remodeling. Immediately upon entering Edwin’s, I knew I’d found what I was looking for. The employees greeted me with big smiles. The smell of roasted coffee beans was like a sweet hypnotic potion. They asked me what I wanted and weren’t at all pretentious about my choice or coffee ignorance. Before I knew it, I was sitting in a cushy leather chair with a rich and sweet iced mocha in my hand. If I were to go searching for a negative, it would be that the interior is dated, as if someone never prioritized interior decorating since the 1990’s. But this also adds to its charm. Seek out Edwin’s if you want a quality coffee shop that feels like a home away from home.

What a delicious comfortable way to start your day! With a giant yummy flavorful muffin with a nice white mocha roasted to perfection! Only being a hop skip and jump away from my house I am in love! Gotta love small business owners! Support locals!

It’s a cute little coffee shop in Rocklin, CA. My girlfriend and I visited while we were out and about, and the service blew us away! They aren’t as in-your-face as certain dutch company, and they actually care about your needs unlike many larger chains. Their coffee is GREAT(as someone who really doesn’t like the taste), and their milkshakes and pastries are phenomenal. Definitely will be returning soon!

Great coffee shop! Regular brewed Brazil coffee is good but the latte taste even better. Customer service is awesome. They are definitely friendly and helpful. I will come back here again.

First time back since 2008. I decided to come on a Monday morning around 10 a.m. and ordered a small mocha. The small mocha only comes with one shot of espresso, so make sure you ask for a double if you like your espresso drinks with two shots. It was served too hot, but once I was able to let it cool down a bit it tasted pretty good. As far as atmosphere, the furniture is old and needs to be replaced. The décor is rather generic and needs to be completely redone. This is the kind of place that I loved years ago when the idea of sitting on busted furniture felt sort of counterculture given that they are located in the burbs in a strip mall. My aesthetic preferences have changed in the past seven years though and I now expect more creativity in the décor than this. I hope they can make some changes to stay competitive in the growing coffee scene in the Sacramento area.

I have lived a stone’s throw from Edwin’s for over a year but finally ventured into his shop. Edwin is a fellow bearded guy, friendly and helpful. He carefully explained about all the treats in his glass case. They had some chocolate brownie type cake that my wife picked up. She loved it. I had a cinnamon bun, and it was delicious. The younger kids had root beer floats. Oh I know my profile picture shows no beard. Let me assure you. I rock a beard worthy of being proud, and so does Edwin. The indoor lounge area is pretty small but cozy. I definitely can see myself hanging out there. It’s a bad and good thing Edwin’s is so close. Good for the treats I will no doubt get my hands on. Bad for my waistline. At least it’s so close i’m likely to at least walk off a few calories on the trip. Who am I fooling? I want all the stuff in there, and I could walk to Japan and never work it off. Oh well. I love Rocklin, and this place is one of the reasons why. A family friendly independent business is the type I like to support, and you should too. EDWIN’S COFFEEROCKS!!! Oh. I don’t usually drink hot beverages, so I’ll let you know how the iced coffee is next time. Later
