I have been back to this Starbucks since my last review. I think I have figured out why I really dislike this location. They only have 1 coffee bar area to make drinks for the drive thru and for customers that come inside to order. My drinks have been tasting better also since my last review. But there is one lady who I can’t stand. Her hello and goodbye greetings are so terrible. Anyway… Lots of other wonderful Starbucks have 2 coffee bar areas to make drinks for customers. This location is so slow because they are not equipped to handle a rush! This location is really nice but it needs to be updated.

In agreement with everyone else, this Starbucks has the best location and the worst customer service. There is someone miserable on headset and miserable at the window; it makes for a really sour experience. I thanked the lady on headset after I ordered in the drive thru today and there was silence. I then thanked the very unhappy new lady working the window(she never smiles) and her response was«yep». In addition, the wait time is always long, however that’s never deterred me from going because it’s a great location for me. However, I’m done as of today. The unfriendliness has taken its toll and I will now find a new Starbucks location where the workers enjoy their job(or can at least pretend to!)

This is by far the worst Starbucks I have ever been to, which really sucks because the location in perfect for me. — The wait time here is exceptionally slow. Even when there are only 2 cars in front of you. — The staff is beyond unfriendly and can’t even acknowledge the massive inconvenience of 15−20min wait times. — They are consistently understaffed. — I swear this is the only drive thru I’ve been to anywhere, that actually shoves my drinks at me. So rude. — Always running out of things, like every time I go. Hopefully a higher up will get it together and improve this crappy location. Especially with the new drive thru coffee shop moving in across the street.

This service at this location really stinks. The staff are always talking to each other and never seem to be paying attention to the fact that you are a customer. Just like a McDonalds now. That special experience is gone.

I recently went to the drive thru with my gal friend and she has ordered a frappé and the server neglected to give my friend a straw! The young man also was rude and confused when we asked for separate orders and he had mixed up the orders too. Horrible experience never coming back to this Starbucks!

This is the worst experience I had at any Starbucks. I was standing at the counter for a good 5 mins before anyone acknowledge that I was there. I order my frappuccino and waited for almost 15 mins to get my drink.(It was NOT that busy) The Barista made my drink and placed it in the queue for the drive thru. It wasn’t until I asked for my drink that she looked for it. Wasn’t even sorry either… worst and slowest service at this location.

It seems every other time I ask for no whip cream, I get it it anyway. It frustrates me that they do not listen and just make the drink to make the drink!

Pending a horrible experience, every time I go to Starbucks I have an extremely similar experience. I could go to a Starbucks halfway across the world(and I’ve been to them on multiple continents) and my experience is almost identical to home. The same vibe, the same prompt service, and I can expect the same quality food and drink. I love that Starbucks serves more breakfast sandwich and snack options these days. I especially love it when they stay open late-ish. Starbucks is a home away from home no matter where in the world you are :)

Staff changes recently has helped with getting drinks moving. Staff is much friendlier and more wanting to be working here. Hope the staff keeps it up. Previous review. Service can be slow. Prices are like any other Starbucks. Nothing exceptional. I come back because it can be convenient.

This is one of my favorite Starbucks in the area! Although, this one isn’t the closest one to my house, I always make a special trip because of the great atmosphere and quality drinks. I just get a basic iced coffee, so it’s pretty hard to mess that up. I’ve never had an issue here with a drink that wasn’t made properly. The employees are very friendly, the building is overall pretty clean. There are always people here studying. I suggest studying or doing work at this location because it’s so big, and cozy. Overall, this is a great Starbucks! There is no reason why this location can’t be your new favorite Starbucks!

I think this Starbucks location has definitely redeemed themselves. I’m not sure if it’s a new manager… or the team finally snapped out of it, or what. I used to be pretty disappointed coming to this one, but I’d give in since it was the closest one to me. Overtime I’ve noticed a huge improvement in customer service… from their friendliness to remembering you as a regular… and making sure they provide you with awesome tasting coffee… fast! Before I noticed a bit of a struggle trying to make a simple caramel macchiato, it either wouldn’t taste right or you’d be waiting in line for a ridiculous amount of time. Things seem to be working more efficient now and I love coming here and seeing all the same people and knowing they’re going to take care of my sluggish morning :) thanks for being awesome again!

I frequent Starbucks & normally pretty good service. This one however takes forever & I only go because its close. Went today because I’m out of coffee. Tried to order a pound of coffee & a drink. They were out of espresso & refused to weigh up a pound for me from their bulk bag. Not cool seeing as it was raining & they could have done it as they’ve done countless times. I’ve had baristas argue w/me as its more work for them to weigh it, but never denied! Irritated to say the least & I still have to go find coffee.

So yeah. They do mess up orders at this one a lot. I went there last night and the chick was very nice. However, she made my drink with whipped even though I said no whipped and confirmed it. I asked for another shot blended. It didn’t taste like it was in there. Don’t judge me. I love caffeine. I’ll give it one more try, this time careful to watch my drink being prepared. I’m watching you, forgetful barista.

I’m not a very big fan of Starbucks coffee, as I’m more a Peet’s fan, but considering how close to Starbucks I live, along with the convenience of a drive-thru, sometimes it’s difficult to stay away. As far as this location is concerned, it’s ok. The drinks aren’t always consistent, but just like any restaurant, it seems to depend on who’s working that day(and it may also be because there’s been several staff changes since they first opened). So why the 4 stars? Because a couple of the baristas that work there definitely deserve some kudos. They are pretty much the only reason why I go there when there are at least two other Starbucks locations I could always go to. They know me, they are always consistent with my drinks, and I like the fact that they are always happy and upbeat in front of customers. To me, that can make or break whether I ever spend my hard-earned dollars there again(trust me, Carl’s Jr off Foothills hasn’t seen me as a customer since that fateful day back in 2003 even though it was literally right down the street from where I used to live). So kudos to my favorite baristas there at the Stanford Ranch location, you guys rock! I promise I’ll actually learn your names(I just suck at memorizing) so I can start throwing them out in my reviews so you get the recognition you deserve!
