My favorite Thai food restaurant! Really nice to eat inside at lunch time, I don’t feel rushed. Kow Pad is my absolute favorite item on the menu. The crab ragoon this evening was a first for me and it did not disappoint. Great place for friends or business lunch. Kids are more than welcome as well!

This is an AMAZING little family run restaurant. I always get the bento box because it comes with sushi, salad, soup, rice, and a Thai dish for about $ 12. It’s great! We keep going back because the staff is friendly and the food is always good.

Ordered my favorite Thai dish: pla jien. They have lunch and dinner portions, but honestly the lunch size was twice what I could eat. Flavors were good, and plenty of ginger. That’s the good part. Not so good was that it was super salty. At a certain point, you just can’t choke another bite down, just from the salt. So I’m being generous by only taking one point off.

This Thai restaurant is excellent! The service was speedy, the waiter was wonderful and the food was delicious and authentic. The spring roll was a tad disappointing but the soup and Pud Thai was so good. My sister and I left satisfied and reminded of our time in Thailand.

I am obsessed with their food! And their service is amazing! They go above and beyond for their customers!!! Their food is clean, and absolutely delicious. I feel like you can’t go wrong here! I recently moved further away from this place, but I will still make an effort to go out of my way just go get food from here.

Tried the bento box carry out lunch. Was a good portion, came with 2 big tempura shrimps, some tempura veggies consisting of potato wedges i think, and a onion ring, 6 Pieces of California roll, 3 nigiri sushi, and 6 slices of sashimi. Overall liked the dish very much.

I love coming here for lunch when I’m in the area. They over a variety of Thai and Japanese dishes and they also have a selection on the menu where you can get both.

Pud Thai! Is there a conspiracy with all the other Thai restaurants in the area to have them all be absolutely horrible and you be delicious so you get all the riches? If not, then kudos to you guys for cornering the market on delicious(at this point I would have been alright with voluntarily edible) Thai food in the Rochester region. I have tried almost all the Thai places between my job in Auburn Hills over to Rochester/Rochester Hills in my valiant quest for a suitable Thai lunch take out place. After getting physically ill a few times and finding too many egg shells in my food other times, I had more or less given up hope. Then I drive by Pud Thai. «What a weird name» I think to myself, and then chuckled(haha, pud, what a funny word). I decide this is worth looking into. The first time I went with the old reliable — pad thai. It was very good but weirdly dark brown. Oh well, who cares. Lots of veggies, lots of spice(a little heavy handed on the spice levels here so beware), not too sweet, and lots of veggies. But wait — THESPRINGROLL. I could eat 100 of these and then gleefully turn into a spring roll. They are hands down the best spring rolls I’ve had in years. Chocked full of an array of veggies sliced very thinly and not greasy. The dipping sauce is thin and tastes like a combo of rice vinegar and sweet chili sauce but not spicy. I have no idea how this dipping sauce was created but, for this, I thank you. Since no one was around to judge me, I ate some with a spoon when my spring roll was no more. I just went back today and got the curry noodles(with traditional thin noodles instead of the fat noodles). Also delicious. Tons of veggies, just enough sauce, loads of varying flavors. Lunch portions are very generous. I will be back frequently!

GETTHEHUNGRYROLL. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Other than that, I would say that the pad thai was pretty standard, a bit sweet for my tastes, but enjoyable to eat nonetheless. I usually like my pad thai a bit more on the sour side. We also got the rainbow roll and the soft shell crab roll, but those were completely overshadowed by how good the hungry roll was. I will definitely come back here and order just the hungry roll.

Decent place. Service was fast but little sloppy. We tried pud curry. It has nice flavour but excessive salt. I enjoyed honeydew bubble tea.

Good food, atrocious service. I went in yesterday to get takeout and was given fried rice instead of my soup. While there, another person getting take out had a similar issue. I had to stand around for ten minutes for my soup to get made while my other food sat in a bag. Turns out it was still worth going. The sushi was above average, and the Tom Ka was a better than a number of places I’ve had it at too. I got an entrée but forget what it was — it had chicken, a load of green beans, a sort of peanut sauce, and some peanuts on top. I liked it but wouldn’t get it again. Gordon Ramsay and the Chopped judges would hate this place because the soup has chunks of inedible galangal in it, and my entrée had leaves in it you probably wouldn’t want to eat. I’d consider going back, but maybe not for take out with the amount of misunderstanding that goes on.

I love the sushi here! This is a family owned business that makes great food that makes you coming back for more. I’ve had all different types of sushi here and the raw sushi is quality. Being in a northern state, it’s really hard to find raw sushi that has a more authentic taste than your run of the mill sushi restaurants. This place really hits the nail on the head with sushi dishes. Thai entrees here are incredible! You can’t go wrong with anything you order here true authentic Thai and sushi. The only reason for the 4 stars is because the service is terrible sometimes. Great food.

I’m always wary of places that try to serve 2 cuisines, mainly because I’d rather have them specialize instead of trying to be too much. However, I was pleasantly suprised by Tai Fai, and more recently, this place. This place may be a litte hard to find if you’re using Android Maps, so it’s right across the street from the So-so(Soho) and Famous Daves, and in the same plaza as the Starbucks. Ok Moving on the food: Pros: +Serves both sushi and Thai, so good for bringing company(or not, because they might try to «sample» your food huehuehue) +Friendly service +Thai food pretty decent, very flavorful and«clean» tasting curries,(heavy curries tend to use too much cream, and you can really taste it) +Good rice in the sushi. This is really the mark of a good sushi chef, not the fish, not the roll selection, but how the rice tastes. Eat sushi enough, and you’ll know. +Cozy and comfy seats. And the BEST pro of this place? ++Dat DOUBLEPLY toilet paper. Seriously, you know a place is da bomb when they use the double instead of the single. Restaurant owners, please take note. Cons: –Menu is too big. You can be kind of overwhelmed by the selection. –Tables are kind of small, which could be a minor annoyance with the big plates that thai food often comes on. –Place is kind of hard to find if you’re not looking for it. They need a better sign. Seriously, not that many cons. It’s a good place if you’re in the area, and want something better than Soho. And it doesn’t smell like the kitchen in here. I’m iffy about the name though, why PUDthai instead of Padthai? Pud reminds me of Mud, which is not very appetizing. All in all, a decent place to go to. I think it could be a 5 if the interior was a little more pleasing to the eye. Have you noticed that food tastes better when you’re with good company? It’s true.

I’ve been here both during the busy lunch rush on a weekday and on a slower late afternoon weekend. It’s nice when the food and service isn’t compromised depending on how busy they are. Be prepared to wait during lunch because it’s a small space. Many people seem to get carryout orders, which is probably the best thing to do. I find it odd when restaurants try to mix different cuisines together because it almost always means one is better than the other. Here, it’s sushi and Thai. I’m weary of getting the sushi so I’ve stuck with the Thai(although my lunch Bento did come with tempura rolls, which doesn’t exactly count since nothing was raw). Their spice level is pretty on point and they go on a point scale. I’ve gotten mine at 6 and for the future, I think 7 would be more accurate, for wanting it not piping hot but still a slightly noticeable kick. Their portion sizes are big too, although when my friend ordered the duck dish, the meat was at a minimum. For it being cheap at lunch, I suppose that’s passable.

This place is too cute! I came here a little while ago but I guess I never got around to writing a review so ill do it now :) I ordered a bento box consisting of: pad Thai, a tempura Cali roll, and ginger salad. The box had four spots and they left one empty with a few crushed peanuts in it which I found odd. Maybe throw in a few edamame to kill the space? Everything was delicious though and the sushi here was awesome! I will be back :)
