The parking lot was mostly crowded on that Sunday morning, with only a few vacant spots close to the front. I parked a couple rows away, new-ish cars being irresistible targets to the distracted famished. My wife and I walked into the bustling entrance with the enthusiasm of people hungry after church, and the late breakfast on our minds soon being in our bellies. A smiling, mature lady welcomed us warmly and safely guided us through the crowd, composed of mostly employees darting like bullets at a shooting gallery, to our table. Not more than a moment later we were greeted by a twenty-something girl(whom I’d noticed earlier hurriedly shuttling several plates of food to a table on the other side of the diner), were handed menus and asked our drink preferences. A Diet Coke and a coffee order later, she sped off to get our drinks, apron twirling with the centrifugal force of her bounce to the rear. Drinks arriving only a couple of minutes later, I was secretly pleased to know that we were on a first name basis with the waitress. I was Sweetie and my wife was Honey. A true Diner, down to the last detail. Décor of the 1940’s, 50’s and 60’s, Jukebox tunes playing in the background(they take credit cards nowadays!), an owner who has an obvious affinity for all things M&M, and tabletops covered in local advertising, providing plenty of reading should the conversation die, help to make a trip to The Pink Cadillac Diner a memorable experience. Oh, yeah… my Steak done to perfection and 3 eggs with home fries, corned beef and sausage gravy over a buttermilk biscuit was the ideal choice with which to wash my down coffee. I can’t vouch for how my wife’s short stack of pancakes with ham steak was, but I had plenty of time to read the table before her plate was clean. The pictures provided are from a previous visit. No new pics for this review.

Drab and everything we touched felt sticky… like they used the same sponge or cloth for everything. Food is marginal, rather bland, and not very good. Tastes like they use a lot of generic stuff, has that ‘off’ taste. Coffee was terrible. I am a coffee person and am used to fresh grind and aroma. It was watery and more box store club brand. To me the coffee makes or breaks the breakfast. Theirs is anemic. I do not know where those pictures came from, but ours breakfasts sure did not look like that. Tried it twice, as we figured the first time might have been a fluke. So many good places around for breakfast, this is not one of them.

Excellent 50’s style diner. The ACTUAL Pink Cadillac awning over the entrance is a nice touch! I didn’t realize it was a REAL Cadillac! Food is your typical greasy spoon/diner fare. Great for takeout, though there’s a lot of seating space in the diner. They even have a function room for events or parties. I love the grapenut pudding dessert.

Excellent diner food! I’m so used to the greek diners that are all over upstate NY, and this place is nothing like them. The food here is clearly prepared with more than profits in mind. The open range burger with swiss instead of cheddar is where it’s at! I make mine extra healthy by ordering a side of gravy to dip it in. I recommend you do the same!

Probably by far the BEST diner food I’ve ever had! Especially their breakfast food. But everything is seriously awesome! I had their Mac and Cheese one time for lunch, and it seriously tasted EXACTLY the way my Grammy would make it homemade! It was soooo good, and brought back great memories… The portion of their meals are very satisfying. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner meals are excellent, and for a cheap price too might I add! They have stuff from omelettes, to pancakes, to meatloaf, to burgers, to seafood… they got it all! And I love the atmosphere of it all. Like a traditional/classic diner. And everyone is so friendly(both staff and customers). Excellent service! Definitely recommend for anyone that’s into diners, THIS is the place to go!

At first glance I was excited about the real diner look and feel to the place, but was disappointed when I noticed that almost every chair booth and table were damaged in some way. Our waitress was nice, the food was great and reasonably priced. Although the restaurant itself was pretty dingy the bathrooms were very clean and up to date! I was pleasantly surprised. The only complaint that I will make about the service is the waitresses bickering with each other at the station right behind me. It seemed obvious that they don’t get along and it was very awkward to overhear their jabs at each other. Maybe they were kidding but it was hard to tell.

Bullet point review: –Classic diner look with the tiled ceiling, metal bar stools at the counter –Lots of New England sports paraphernalia, also including Marlboro and Budweiser logos near my table –50s era drawings depicted on the walls, larger mirror and other retro dining ware and equipment around –Old cereal boxes like Flutie Flakes placed on a shelf near the ceiling were cute –Advertising on table tops bugs me, but I’ll cut them slack since they’re not the only ones who do this –Waitress seemed frazzled despite it being quiet –I find it strange I wasn’t offered a place to sit with how many choices there were –I was placed in the back with a TV right behind me: What’s up with that? –Now I understand placing customers together to make the work easier for the waitress, as there was a couple two tables away from me eating, but there were people out front sitting at the diner counter, which I would have preferred –A couple after were asked if it was okay where they were seated but I was not; my table sat three people, which I know I’m not a small guy but that seems unnecessary –Ordered the Homemade Alfredo with garlic bread; garlic bread good, Alfredo very hot –It was decent, nothing special, very good size –This is a weird observation, but she gave me a spoon with it: doesn’t a fork work better? –Forgot to give the included salad with my meal, which she apologized for explaining she only works dinner shift once a week –Small salad was better than it looked, given plenty of dressing in proportion to the size –I agree with others who say the pricing is reasonable: it was a filling $ 10 meal –Even if I cut the waitress some slack for having an off night, I’m giving it two stars because I felt I was treated different, most likely because of my age, and the food was just okay

Perfect diner food. Excellent low prices. Service is adequate. A little laid back, but that’s okay if you have some friends to chat with or a book to read. I bought the country breakfast. Portions are the right size, not gimmicky large. Country fried steak was done right and VERY tasty gravy. Total bill was $ 9.79.

Everything is reasonably priced, but procedures of business could be a bit more organized. The menu could use a redesign to be a little more user friendly. Otherwise it’s real fun atmosphere and I like that they promote local businesses on mugs and on some table tops.

The place gets packed with regulars(mostly the over 60, senior scene). This tells me two things: 1. The prices are reasonable, and 2. The food is homestyle cooking. The 50s rock-and-roll theme seems to fit the area. It’s worth checking out for breakfast or lunch on the go. This is not a place you sit & linger.

I generally think of myself as an understanding person. I get that there are going to be times when the kitchen is backed up and service might be slower. Usually, a friendly word and apology from the waitress is all it takes to appease me. But when there is a total lack of acknowledgment and a sense that you are not entitled to any kind of service, that’s when my hackles are raised. We ordered 2 sandwiches and waited 45 minutes for them. Our waitress began to ignore us and slink away from our table, and awkwardly passed us mumbling as we asked about our order. Someone else then brought us our order(missing cheese), and we were given attitude when we asked for the check at that point. Our waitress dropped off and then picked up the check without saying a word. We could not have left there faster. The food was decent at best but not worth the attitude and time spent checking our watches.

This is a ‘no-frills’ eatery. Simple, well made food that is flavorful and fast. The menu is standard American fare with the occasional twist. Service is friendly, fast and courteous and plenty of seating and parking too. So, if you’re looking for a Diner-esque experience on your way up to the Lakes this summer, this is the best place around.

I was in the mood for some food. So, like anyone else, I Unilocaled it out and trusted the reviews. I wasn’t ecstatically surprised, but I was happy. No offense New Hampshire, you aren’t too impressive. Finding this place was easy(right off 16) and it had plenty of parking. That was a plus. Oh, yeah. There is a pink Cadillac that is hoisted up by four posts in front of the entrance to the place. Not sure what the lure of a pink Cadillac in the air is but, of course, you are drawn to it. I was greeted at the door and was seated with a menu. Got my drink right away. etc. etc. Like all of the other reviews have said, the service was excellent, and my server was cute to boot ;) She allowed me to substitute home fries for french fries and that’s when I fell in love. j/k. but seriously. What I like about this place is that they serve breakfast all day. I think they serve lunch starting at about 10 or something, but when I got there I had the option to mix and match which is always a plus and got to have the best of both worlds. I got a burger and home fries, with an iced coffee(oddly arranged meal, i know. i wasn’t judged by anyone). The cheeseburger was good, not the best I’ve ever had like one of the other reviewers stated, but definitely tasty and they don’t skimp on the cheese. Home fries were not the best either but overall I was happy. With everything.

The food was average. The service was ok. The thing that really made me give it a 2 star is that it smells moldy. I don’t know if its the carpet or the booths. Definitely not coming back.

The first time we visited this little diner in mid-August we would have given it five stars for the excellent hot, fresh food and fast, friendly service. We would gladly have taken guests here. Now, however, we’re not sure. Our second visit was not so good. Suddenly the portions were skimpy and not cooked well and service was slow and not so friendly. Don’t know what happened to change things so dramatically, but we’re willing to give Pink Cadillac one more try the next time we’re in the area. Low prices, breakfast all day, good coffee.

On my way back from Maine, I stopped here because it sounded cool when I was searching for food near my sister’s house using my GPS. This place came across as a cute themed place to grab a sandwich or something. Attached to a gas station and a convenience store was this little diner with a giant pink candillac protruding from the overhead awning. I was excited at that point and when I walked in I was totally impressed with the cute little decorations and knickknacks everywhere. I’m not going to lie, I wasn’t expecting much from the menu but to the contrary I was impressed with the selection for such a small place AND they served breakfast all day! I didn’t want breakfast at 2 in the afternoon so I grabbed one of their specials(which I’m assuming because it had a nice star marking it), the pink cadillac burger. This was no lie, the BEST burger I’ve ever had. Everything about it was delicious and I really wish that this place was closer to home so I could be a regular customer. Also, the service was AWESOME, which I find to be uncommon lately. I give this place two thumbs WAY up!
