I had heard great things abt their bubble tea and had bookmarked to try it forever ago. I finally made it out that way and WASNOT disappointed. The owners were there and walked us thru all the options. In all, we ended up trying abt 5 different combos, each delicous. Also try their maroons(?) And other pastries, and they were amazing. Would highly recommend a visit. I’m sorry it took me so long!

The place is just the right size for a small café. We had bubble tea and a smoothie. The tea was great, and excited to get bubble tea in Rochester. My wife gets smoothies all the time and stated this place was the best. I also liked that they had games for people to use. We are settlers of catan fans and was suppressed to see it was available.

The bubble tea here is awesome! My guava green tea with boba and rainbow jellies was fab. I would suggest getting extra boba. My friend’s mango smoothie was delicious and fruity. My Samoa macaroon was surprisingly great. I’ve had macaroons from ~fancy~ coffee shops that didn’t even compare. The employee told me that they rotate 30+ flavors of macaroons that are made in-house(and you can definitely tell), I should’ve tried some more flavors. If I lived in Rochester Hills I would be here at least 2x a week.

As a self-proclaimed boba connoisseur with a very picky palate, I think this is the best boba in Michigan! Blossom café & bakery is really far from downtown Detroit, and they close early, which explains why I’ve had them bookmarked for so long. Pros include: — service is super friendly. I called ahead to ask if they had my drink, and they remembered me when I showed up! — parking is easy(private lot) — ample seating space(to sit and enjoy your boba) — they serve baked goods(which I did not try) — clean and brightly lit. I dislike dirty boba places with all that stickiness eberywhere. — no minimum for using credit cards!!! — they offer stamp cards AND10% off when you check in(which I forgot to do –_-) All of that is a plus, but the 5 star rating is for their boba. I ordered a strawberry green tea with mango stars and was so pleased that I immediately ordered a second drink after 2 sips. The drink is light and refreshing, the perfect amount of sweet(I do like my drinks on the sweet side), and the mango stars taste the way mango stars should!(I’m looking at you, Bambu, and your weird tasting mango jelly.) Pricing is also very fair($ 3.75 for a large + $ 0.50 for mango stars). My only con is the limited hours! I wish they were open later(or even 24/7.haha jk!). I LOVE this place!!! I wish I visited this gem months ago, but at least now I can share with all my Unilocal friends. :)

Went there with my wife and daughter based on a recommendation from a friend. We had two milk teas and a strawberry cream cake. Everything was really good, my daughter loved the cake. We will definitely go back and are glad they are in the neighborhood!

Best combination. Bubble tea and macaroons in a nice quiet spot in rochester hills. Great place to study or hang out, even a cute spot for a day date.

Tried its boba milk tea and green tea latte… for boba, it is pretty good but if i were to compare it to Bambu’s boba milk tea… Bambu’s boba tea is still better b/c this place’s boba is not as chewy as Bambu’s boba. but overall.its boba is not bad . for its green tea latte. it was pretty good. i would definitely come back for its green tea latte. i asked for less sugar. and they make it just right. there are many tables with outlet right next to each table. it is a great place if you want to read or use your computer to study…

Okay I am a boba tea fanatic. And I have had boba tea in multiple places. I ordered Taro, Honeydew and Mango black milt tea drinks with tapioca pearls. My honeydew boba tasted like matcha. I’m not sure if the girl just messed up of what? I mean it was nice that there is a strong black tea flavor in the back but in general i did not ask for matcha. and I know matcha flavor too! The mango one taste like regular black tea flavor with toooo much of a subtle mango hint. I want to be able to taste the mango! The taro, tasted like chocolate. Clearly somethings up??? We know our boba flavors so I’m not being biased or anything. We ordered takoyaki, and I don’t think takoyaki should be as mushy on the inside as it was but presentation was adorable. But didnt seem all the way cooked. And there were barely any squid chunks. Will not buy again! The boba tea prices are decent. They also offer jellies and pearls most for an extra 50 cents which is cool. Their drinks come in medium and large. Their interior is super cute, very hipster. It was very clean, love the ombré clock. Their baked goods looked yummy. They also give you a blossom café card to punch everytime you buy a drink, 10 stamps gets you a free drink I believe.

I am a little hesitant to write this review, because I’m just not sure how to review this place. I’m originally from this area, and I’ve driven by here so many times, it’s not even worth counting. If it weren’t for Unilocal,I’d have no idea it was here. It is quite tucked away, and if you blink, you will absolutely miss it. The vibe of this place is a little strange. It’s minimal, but not a comfy-cozy minimal. There’s just not a whole lot inside. White walls and a few chairs– that’s it. It could definitely use a little sprucing up to create a more welcoming, café kind of vibe. If my review were based on this alone, it would probably only get 2 stars. I was also a little surprised with how little they had in terms of bakery treats. This is where my love/hate relationship with Unilocal comes into play. Judging from the other fabulous reviews and pictures, I had some high expectations for this place, and I they just didn’t quite pan out 100%. Anyway, the real reason I came here is the French macarons. French macarons are a weakness of mine. I will seek them out wherever I am. As much as I love Metro Detroit, I’ve always been disappointed in the lack of availability of delicious French macarons. I have yet to find a place that has perfected it. These aren’t bad. At roughly $ 2 a piece, they are just the right size. I got one of each of the flavors they had available(a total of 5). These macarons look beautiful. The consistency of the crème filling is a little off, but otherwise they are okay. I just don’t think these are memorable. My quest for French macarons in Metro Detroit continues. The service was friendly. All I really wanted were some macarons, so our interaction was short and sweet. I might stop by here to try some other macaron flavors, and maybe a drink if I’m in the area, but I won’t go out of my way.

Cute little bakery/coffee shop in a strip mall in Rochester. I’m not out this way often but I saw the photos on here when they first opened and knew I had to visit the next time I was in the area. After an event up by Auburn Hills I had some work to do and a serious hankering for something sweet so I made a beeline for Rochester and swung by for a bit. First off – it’s bright and clean in there, but IDK… it wasn’t the look I expected when I saw the photos of the place when they first opened. Maybe because I concentrated mostly on the sweets but I was surprised at how minimal it was. It’s not a bad thing by any stretch, it was just different. It’s nice though! They have a small area with some board games to play, a nice menu board up behind the counter, etc. So, while minimal it’s not boring. I was also expecting more by way of desserts given the photos that I saw when they first opened. I know some items were promo shots so they lined up things that are on the menu but not always visible(like some of the bubble teas in really cute containers) for pictures but I guess I had envisioned more behind the counter. Maybe I just came at an off time when things had sold out? I’m more than willing to come back to find out because everything I did have was fantastic! But with those two semi-nitpicky things aside I had a great experience there. The gal was pretty friendly, the wifi was strong, it was quiet and airy in there(great working environment), the tunes were also pretty great. I ended up getting a couple of macarons and a green bubble tea(minus the bubbles) for a snack and a sip and they were both delicious. Some of the best macarons I’ve had in the area, to be quite honest. If this were on my side of town you’d better believe I’d be there way more often.

Diamond in the rough! Don’t blink or you’ll miss this place, it’s tucked away between Pinot’s palette and Rochester gym. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere and friendly hangout spot. One of those places the owners greet you with a smile. Come alone or come with friends and play one of the games they have available. On to the goodies; I’ve only had macarons and boy are they good! Great texture and a very generous size. I just wish I am in the area more often so I can try all their flavors! Although that may not be possible since the flavors are rotating and they seem to be always adding new exciting flavors. As for drinks, I personally love anything almond and usually stick to my Almond milk tea with boba, which is one of the better Almond milk teas I’ve had! I definitely recommend giving this place a chance and say hi to the owners!

Been here twice! The first time I ordered red bean milk tea with no boba and loved it! My boyfriend got strawberry green tea with boba and loved it as well. Came back the second time, boyfriend liked my drink last time so much that we both ordered red bean milk tea. Except this time I decided to try it with boba. The boba felt so mushy and slimy. It also taste like it didn’t really have much flavor, other than that, the drink still tasted okay. Not sure if I would get a drink with boba again but it could be just a bad batch. Tried the strawberry macaroon, it tasted okay, nothing too fancy to rave about. $ 1.95 is Kind of pricey in my opinion. Friendly and clean place to sit, chit chat and hang out! Noticed some board games as well. Read some reviews about people loving the takoyaki! Will be back to try that!

I finally got the opportunity to try out Blossom Café. First, I will tell you that I am from NYC and I probably drank my weight in bubble tea in my lifetime. I tried their black milk bubble tea and it was refreshingly authentic and natural tasting. I can tell that they used real black tea and milk vs powder. Though I will say that if you do get any other flavors, they are likely to add syrup or powder. Bubble tea is solid. I also had to try their macarons. I first got into them when cupdotcake was open in Royal Oak. They closed down and is now Love and Buttercream. While I do adore L&B, their macarons haven’t exactly filled the macaron shaped hole in my stomach. Ever since then, I have been disappointed macaron after macaron. However, I was pleasantly surprised by their macarons. $ 2 per cookie seems like a lot, but is reasonable IMO. They are also relatively big(~2in cookies). The macaron was near perfect. I hate macarons with hollow centers, but these were perfectly chewy on the inside and not ridiculously sweet. Today, I tried caramel only and it was so addictive. The buttercream filling was also great without being TOO sweet. Blossom is a bit of a trek for me, but I am definitely coming back when my craving for bubble tea and macarons hit. FYI, happy hour is from 12pm to 2pm Mondays to Thursdays and you get 25% off all drinks! Also, they have a punch card. I believe after 10 or so drinks, you get a free one.

The macarons are to die for here! I’ve tasted a many macarons in Paris, and these definitely compete with them. I only tried the vanilla, but I’m excited to try the other flavors in the future. They are a bit expensive, about 2 dollars a piece, so my rating still remains. I studied a bit here the other week and it was a great study atmosphere. Internet is stable and there are tons of outlets. Only gripe is that this place closes too early!

Cute little café– very clean and bright :) got the almond black milk boba and it was alright… didn’t taste like what I expected it. My friends red bean boba was great though. Wish everything was made fresh spot on, the black tea milk mixture is made in the morning but the smoothies are fresh. Drink wise, 3−4÷5 but atmosphere/customer service 5⁄5! I would come again *cookies can be warmed up

I loved that this place is close to my house. I read the reviews on Unilocal and we decided to stop by tonight. I got the matcha green tea, strawberry banana, chocolate chip and another macaroon. The matcha green tea macaroon was SO delicious! I also had a passion fruit green tea bubble tea and it was delicious. My son devoured the strawberry blossom cake when we got home. Definitely a great place with a cute vibe!

Exciting to see the wide variety of food they have here. In addition to traditional Asian and Western pastries, they also have Japanese street food like takoyaki(which was delicious btw!) Also tried the drinks, and the matcha latte was great, but the bubble tea tasted like it was watered down. It’s a great place to chat or study, and there are also many many outlets conveniently sprinkled throughout the café.

Really liked this little spot! It definitely fit the bill when I wanted a small snack a few hours before dinner. Baked goods although slightly limited, were tasty! We sampled all 3 flavors of macaroons available that day, strawberry, almond, and chocolate — these are listed in the order of my most favorite to least favorite — but all were quite tasty. Perfectly crisp shells with smooth, creamy insides. Black milk tea was not too sweet with good textured boba. This place seemed pretty lively with several groups using it as a meeting spot!
