I was just here to smoke hookah, so any information pertaining to food is unhelpful in this review. For the most basic hookah with any flavor(and they have a wide variety of tobacco/non-tabacco flavors to smoke) it’s $ 13.91. The add-ons like ice or a dual hose ranged from $ 1 – 5 extra. They do spilt checks and everything so bring your friends and the cost goes way down! They have a Bluetooth speaker system, so you can play your own music from your phone. Also they have a ton of boardgames, which is my favorite haha. The owners have always been kind to me and always ask what else I would need. I came here on a Wednesday night so it was pretty dead with 0 – 1 customers, but on the weekend it gets pretty busy. Try it out! The owners are super sweet :)

Save your money, save your time. Visited tonight with a friend. We smoke hookah on the weekends so we are very familiar. We went in, ordered a hookah, Arabic coffee and a chai latte. The hookah was brought out first. Very tasty. We smoked for about 5 mins when they brought a shot of expresso out with foam ontop. I questioned the coffee as Arabic coffee does not have foam and has coffee grounds brewed in — which it was lacking. He just shrugged his shoulders. We asked about the chai and he said it would be a while. A lady left and returned 25 minutes later with a Food Lion bag — 3 minutes following her arrival a chai was brought out! Thanks for letting us know — we would have ordered a water! We were there for an hour and were never checked on after the drinks were dropped off. We needed new coal — but when we walked in to let them know, no one was to be found. Needless to say we left. I will never be back. Don’t waste your time. ALSO — they no longer serve food no apps no nothing. Which that wasn’t told to us until after we ordered and paid. They got us …

If you are thinking of trying hookah in Roanoke do yourself a favor and skip this place and go straight to Double Apple(the competing hookah restaurant on Brambleton Ave). My boyfriend and I tried this place on a whim, just to see how it compared to Double Apple, and between the two it was like night and day. First off, the food at Oasis is horrendous. Try it at your own risk. My boyfriend and I both ordered the falafel sandwich, which is very difficult to mess up, but they somehow managed. I received a pita with a layer of garlic hummus with crumbs of falafel bits spread throughout. No lettuce, tomato, or tahini, just crumbs that may have very well been left over from the last time someone made the unfortunate mistake of ordering food. The service is also lacking here. They first brought my falafel out and then ten minutes later brought my boyfriend’s, and then when the hookah was brought to us the server stood there and placed his mouth directly onto our pipe and began smoking from it. I imagine he was just trying to get the hookah started for us, perhaps assuming we were completely clueless, but this was disgusting and unprofessional. We were there for over an hour and we were never once checked on, the only server in the restaurant was out smoking cigarettes with his friends as the owner waited on the cook to run out to McDonalds to buy the staff dinner(I’m not joking). I will never even consider going there again.

I was looking to do something chill without having to go to a bar or lounge. I noticed this place while getting my Korean food fix next door. I have to say… I’m glad that I stopped in. They have a pretty massive selection of sheesha flavors. I tried the peach and the double apple. Both were good and not overpowering. Since smoking hookah tends to make on thirsty, I went with some mint iced tea, and it was quite good… sweet tea with some mint in it. My group split an order of hummus, an order of red pepper hummus, and an order of mozzarella sticks. Everything was pretty good. Service here is outstanding. The guys working the counter were friendly and efficient. They also come around to replace the coals on the hookah. They have nice comfortable leather couches to relax on and you don’t have to worry about sharing mouthpieces as they provide each person with their own plastic mouthpiece. Also, they have a number of board games to play. And free wifi? What?! I hope to make it to their Thursday night poker tournament. Oh yeah, you have to be over 18 to enter.
