Fantastic place for sushi! Our favorites are the Dynamite, Diablo and the caterpillar rolls. We have devoured many other rolls there and most are pretty scrumptious with the exception of their tampa roll– maybe it was an off day for Tampa Bay? Definitely try the warm and crispy krab rangoon while you’re waiting and of course order the miso soup but don’t expect anything crazy when it comes to their broth. It’s good, it’s consistent and the prices are reasonable. Overall I recommend checking it out!

My boyfriend and I LOVE this place. Best place in the Brandon area to get sushi. I personally love their Monster roll and their Osaka roll. Other favorites are the Krab rangoons, the Tokyo Roll, clear onion soup and their eel sauce(I put it on almost everything) Really good food at a really decent price, 10⁄10 would recommend

Good sushi at low prices! They give you tons of food. Crazy good value here. Each roll we ordered came with a soup or salad. The service is also great, fast and friendly. Soft Shell Crab Appetizer $ 8.50 — This dish not only came with crab, but loaded with vegetable tempura! This appetizer came with 2 sauces: tempura sauce and awesomesauce! I think it was for the crab and I’m not sure what’s in this creamy sauce, but it was crazy delicious. They should rename it the Crazy Soft Shell Crab Appetizer. Chef’s Roll $ 8 — This rice-free shrimp katsu cucumber roll was fantastic! It was refreshing and had really good flavors. I would order this again. Godzilla Roll $ 8.50 — This one was a little disappointing. It was lacking the big flavor punch that typically comes with this roll, not to mention it was missing cream cheese. Pacific Fusion Roll $ 8.50 — This spicy tuna crunch roll wasn’t spicy nor crunchy, but was ok. Nigiri Salmon $ 2.25 and Yellow Tail $ 2.50 — They both had good texture but the yellow tail was tastier than the salmon. Mochi ice cream $ 3.95 — 3 pieces per order and you can get 1 in each flavor — mango, strawberry and green tea. The mango was the best one since the mochi part was actually soft and chewy, unlike the other 2 where the mocha was dried out and stale.

I was excited to have seen positive reviews for this sushi place that is only a 3 minute drive and is right next to my favorite Publix. But I was a bit let down as I actually encountered an upset stomach midway of my lunch. We ordered things that we typically order, a miso soup to begin with and California rolls, Nobody’s Home, and Lobster roll and a side of noodles. I’m suspecting that the noodles is what could have upset my stomach. However, our server was nice and the prices are very generous that I am willing to give this restaurant a second chance in the near future and avoiding the noodles. The other neat thing is, since this is conveniently placed in the Publix plaza, you can stop in to place a food order, then swing in Publix to shop a bit or pick up a movie from the Red Box, and go back to the restaurant to get the order of sushi to bring home. Cool!

I was in the area for a training for 3 days. I liked this place so much, that I decided to not be my usual explorative self and check out a different restaurant, but go right back to the same place! They are SUPERFAST. We came, sat, ordered, and had our food and drinks all within 8 minutes(there were 3 of us), and there were a lot of people at the restaurant for what seemed to be their typical lunch rush. I got the steak and shrimp hibachi which was under 10 dollars for plenty of food; the hibachi itself, miso soup, and ginger salad. The hibachi was pretty top notch and the soup and salad were good too, just not the best I have had. The soup and salad came almost automatically after we ordered, which is probably why they did not taste as fresh. Definitely still tasty, just not as worthwhile as their hibachi. Oh yeah, make sure to ask for some yummy sauce. Pretty good. They don’t call it yummy sauce for nothing.

I decided to check this place out after coming from top golf. It was the closest sushi place with pretty good reviews. My party of 6 arrived around 7 o clock, the place was slow, maybe 4 other tables were dining in. Our server appeared to be timid and not so enthusiastic of our party. She took our order promptly and brought our soups /salads out quickly. After that, we didn’t see her for 45 minutes. Waited for our food without any notice of how long it’ll be. Food finally came and definitely not the worth the wait. Server never asked us for anything else. Won’t be returning.

If you’re looking for top notch sushi without the top notch prices, Crazy Café is the place for you. I’ve been here several times, and they are consistently delicious! Every time I have been, the dining area has been spotless. The décor is nice and comfortable. There is a good selection of different types of sushi and other menu items. I have tried something different every time, and everytime I was pleased. The stuffed jalapeño appetizer is unique and scrumptious! The service is fast and friendly. This place is operated like a restaurant should be. I really don’t have a complaint about this restaurant so far, and that is why they get a 5 star rating. But, don’t take my word for it, check it out for yourself. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

This is one of my favorite lunch places. The sushi is great and the prices are really competitive. I have ordered the sushi lunch many times, and it has always been satisfying. The special rolls are really great also. The miso soup is free with lunch, and worth coming inside for. Sometimes service is strained, but crazy café has become really popular. The servers are really sweet and do their best to serve us quickly.

Nice little sushi place, solid 4 stars. It looks unassuming and I probably wouldn’t have given it a second look if I’d been driving by, but we have friends who live nearby and told my husband and I that it was simply the best so we gave it a shot. It’s tucked away in the corner of a strip mall, but once you go inside the ambiance and décor make for a nice experience. Our server was quick and attentive, all our orders were correct, and the sushi was fresh and delicious. They have a nice menu with a couple of unique items so you can get a little adventurous. I highly recommend the Osaka roll if you like cucumber wrapped rolls, it was just perfect. The Yakitori appetizer which was a little bland, but the jalapeño appetizer(jalapenos stuffed with spicy tuna & cream cheese with a yummy sauce) was divine. Overall, I really liked it and will be back when I’m in the area again.
